YouTube is deleting thousands of sexually explicit videos after it was hit by an organised attack yesterday in a prank known as "Porn Day".


The video-sharing website, owned by Google, has removed most of the porn clips but some content could be available for days as YouTube deletes the offending material. The pranksters hid the porn amid innocent footage of celebrities such as Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers.


Members of the 4Chan message board, which focuses mostly on Japanese anime and manga, have claimed responsibility for uploading the porn, apparently in response to YouTube's stance on copyright music videos.

Honestly, I think it's absolutely hilarious. I just feel bad for kids who might have accidentally seen the porn, but eh... not like it wouldn't happen eventually.

True, I suppose I'm thinking like a girl. I remember accidentally stumbling on porn while looking for Sailor Moon images (lol) on the net when I was approximately 8 or 9 years old. Let's just say I was scarred for a few years after that. There's that grey area from ages 7-11 where kids kinda know what sex is but they kinda don't.

I remember reading a story about a woman with a 7 year old son who asked to borrow her phone for a few minutes and when she got it back she saw that her browser had search history with stuff like the word "boob" in it. I guess I'm a little reluctant when it comes to exposure at an age like that because at my middle school two girls got pregnant around 7th or 8th grade. Meh.

Thanks for reminding me. It took me 6 years to repress that horror show. It's even too disturbing for my collection of disturbing porn I keep as an easter egg for people who search my computer if I get run over by a bus or something.
