Rain Song

Water patters down

Streaming to the ground below.

Melody of rain.

To the Moon:

White smile in the sky,

Light my way in the dark and

Bring my dreams to life.

Basic way of what is around ones self, a creative way of putting those two things. I agree with your first haiku, if you listen to the rain it makes it seem that a small quiet song is playing or a loud roar of a masterpiece.
The second haiku, I didn't think of it that way, the moon can be used more than just a sight to see, it is a way to light your path in the darkness. I loved it.
