WHat if you were the last person on Earth?

First of all, I'd find a way to clone my boyfriend (and somehow make him the same age as me with all of the same memories, don't ask how I'd do it... just let's assume I figure it out lol). I wouldn't want to carry on with my life without him because he is my best friend.

My Reply to OP: I would finally be happy. There would be no more obstacles in life, no more japanophiles (You know who you are.), no more limited access to knowledge, no more forms of love, no more vile, sadist thoughts of eating the innards of the boyfriends of other relationships, no more being barred from figuring out how to increase human longevity and no more being barred from researching how to reproduce without a counterpart of the opposite gender.

Knowledge would be boundless and my time for research would be endless. People who talk about their relationships in front of me physically are a bother...utter distractions...useless pieces of trash who need to inflate their egos to make themselves feel important. Knowledge is more important than love for it is the absolute key to survival.

I did read the thread title. My argument consists of me being alone for most likely a *very* extended period of time, because assuming I would be able to clone someone it would require years of research as well as somehow finding a way to actually do the cloning. I don't see what is so wrong with my argument.

And as far as the second part goes, it wasn't intended to sound sexual in any way. I didn't even realize that it sounded negative until you pointed it out.

But for the sake of the idea of actually being alone, I'll say this:

If the internet was actually working for a long period I would probably try to learn new things and research art. I would also go to museums and steal art pieces that I like. Perhaps I would even try to make myself a bow and arrow set and hunt whatever animals would remain on the earth. Have to admit it would be a very boring existence, lol.

To stay on topic (Your last statement...), existence originally was boring. At least that's how I see it. Making your own tools would be interesting as well. You just need to make sure you have backup plans for when something fails. There are many mysteries within our existence. I still wonder to this day whether or not it will be possible to create a substance to increase the life span of humans and animals.

Maybe I'm insane. Also there are myths of this asian man who lived somewhere from 200 - 400 years. I wish I knew the name but I can't remember. All I know is I read a strange newspaper/magazine article on him a couple of months ago.
