i like romance comedy alot, i wouldnt mind some similar to love hina, negima, ah my goddess or air. i also dont mind if its action or mech or anything as long as it has an underlining romance to its base story line. i do also enjoy romance drama alot as well so basically i love romance alot, ie harems

Full Metal Panic-It's mech with a bit of romance. Also has comedy.
Kimi Kiss Pure Rouge-Romance and a bit of drama.
Clannad-Romance, School Life, Comedy

I'm trying to remember the title of an anime my cousin showed to me a year or so ago. I remember it struck a chord with me because the characters and setting are very cutesy but at random times things become VERY dark and psychotic! Images of a girl stabbing herself in the head with a knife while a woman watching her goes insane from the sight comes to mind. i also remember a scene where the main character is given meatballs from two girls at his school, only to discover a needle in one of them!

i really want to see this show but the only details i have to go on are the ones i said above! please if any of you can ID it for me i'll be very grateful! hopefully this is the correct thread for this sort of thing. if not, sorry to the mod!

Hey donno if you can help but im looking for a show about zombies and I dont mean like monsters and vampires in shows like hellsing and blood I mean like an actual outbreak of zombies.Also im watching Tokko and I have read all of the available highschool of the dead manga.

I'm looking for some anime to watch now that my rotations aren't to bad... problem is my mind is split into two in terms of anime I like

Some of the ones I like: Boogiepop Phantom/Lain/Evangelion (not the mecha aspect... but more of having to think about what's going on)/My Hime (except for the last two episodes)... and the other spectrum Nana/Skip Beat/Honey and Clover ETC

Hey, I am looking for a new anime to watch. I really like Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note, Cowboy Bebop, Gundam. That is pretty much it, and the list is small, I know, which is why I am looking for some new shows to check out. I was thinking of that Code Geass? How is that anime? Still though, I am sure I will get some pretty good suggestions. =]

You might want to try out Code Geass, Magic Knight Rayearth (they have robots in the middle half), Trigun, Gunsmith Cats, and Coyote Ragtime Show.

You're looking for Kanokon. Be warned, it contains some heavily implied mature content, and minor nudity. It's a very funny series as a whole, though. The story revolves around a fox demon girl who falls madly in love with a boy in her school, and proceeds to harass him unmercifully for 12 episodes.

It's not an exact match, and you should beware if you don't like slightly mature content, but Yuria 100 Shiki might be along the lines of what you're looking for.

Maybe Super-Dreadnought Girl, too.

It seems that you're looking for supernatual shounen series.

I'd suggest One Piece (shounen, supernatural/adventure), first and foremost. Some other series worth trying are Dragonball (shounen, supernatural/adventure).

You might like Fate/Stay Night, though you should probably look for the anime instead of the visual-novel, and avoid the manga entirely.

Fairy Tail (shounen, supernatural/action), is probably exactly what you're looking for. It's a manga by Hiro Mashima (of Groove Adventure Rave) that's been serialized since ~2006, and will be animated starting this fall.

wondering if anyone can point me to some good music related anime. I've seen K-ON! and yeah its overly cutsie but i dug it. Trying to watch BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad but its pretty lame for reasons i cant get into without sounding like some elitist.

any suggestions are appreciated!

edit: decided to give Beck more of a shot and im liking it now, despite its hilariously misinformed depiction of americans (maho and ryuuske's english is ridiculous). We need to figure out who told the Japanese that we're all Kurt Cobain and make him pay...seriously

I am looking for a good anime to watch. the ones that I feel that would have fit the bill if I hadn't already watched them are, Elfen Lied, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Full Metal Alchemist (original and brotherhood), etc.

It doesn't have to be in a certain genre like mecha, space, etc. just has to have a deep story, perhaps on the darker side, and anything that really screws with your mind. If you can come up with anything please let me know. Thanks everyone.
