I need a new anime

For once I am all caught up with all the animes I've wanted to watch and now have no idea waht to start.
some of the animes I like are:

Full Metal Alchemist
Code Geass
Bleach
Inuyasha
Soul Eater
D. Gray-man

i've watched more than 50, so i can't list them all. I just finished Ergo Proxy, so I don't want something quite as dark. Mecha/scifi is my favorite anime genre.

Try Clannad it's amazing. Like I'm not even kidding! You could watch Stellvia of the Universe. That one's a good one too. Vampire Knight is really good in my opinon too^^ I'd say Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Kai but it's dark and kind of scary in a way XD

You might like Eureka 7 and Noein. Both are Sci-fi anime. And they're both really good.

Have you seen Ghost in the Shell? It shares similarities with Ergo Proxy; you'd probably like it.

Good choices. Personally, I really enjoyed Eureka 7, but be warned that it starts off very slow and takes a few seasons to get really good.

As for Ghost in the Shell, I've only seen the movie (I think the first one) and don't really remember it, so I can't comment...

Also looking at the other shows you watch, you might like The Third. It's an adventure series, with enough lighthearted moments so as not to be overbearing.

Hare+Guu in funny, if you're looking for a comedy. Gunslinger girl is actioney. Elfen Lied is gorey and suspenseful. Neon Genesis Evangelion is kinda actioney shojo-ish. Ghost in the Shell is philisofical-ish, actioney, with lots of plot. Those are my top picks off.

Ghost in the Shell is truly an epic anime, and you can tell that as many people have already suggested it.

Try watching all it's series:

Ghost in the Shell S.A.C. , Ghost in the Shell S.A.C. 2nd GIG and also movie Solid State Society. You could also try watching the first movie of Ghost in the Shell (1995) and it's sequel movie Innocence.

It's a thought provoking Sci-fi anime and I bet you would love it.
