Default Top 10 Non Animated Movies Every Adult Man and Woman Should See

Well the back story to this topic is that while me, my wife and another couple were sitting drinking, chatting it up, we came across the subject of Movies that everyone short of children should see. This is souly an opinionated thing but we came to find out that most of our movies actually matched.

So i wanna hear what some of yall think should be on the list of the top 10 Movies every adult man and woman should see. (I say adult because in my opinion some of these movie should not be viewed by anyone other then an adult)
So ill start with i think should be in the top ten this list is in no particular order

    Boondock Saints
    Monsters Ball
    Orange County
    Crash
    Gladiator
Rambo (Any of them is good)
    300
    Breakfast Club
    Pulp Fiction
    Shaw Shank Redemption

Some runner ups that my friend thinks should be on here: Equilibrium, Waynes world, Saving Private Ryan, Gran Torino.

What are some of yalls lists??

Wow, seriously, that's my list in a nutshell, except I'd switch Pitch Black with Clerks (the first one). I like it for some reason.
I now know what hell sounds like; I recommend a tactical nuclear strike on my position. Tell my family I love them.

    My 10 Movies

Star Wars 4-6 best movies ever in my opinion
Pulp Fiction just a great movie
God father 1 and 2 just skip 3 because it sucks
Goodfellas only gangster movie that will make you laugh
    Caddy Shack
    Animal house
    Exorcist
Those are my 10 movies eventhough I would love to add a whole lot more to my list, but I kept it at 10, but for a bonus my fav. chick flicks just for the ladies. Steal Magnolias, When Harry met Sally, and Beaches.

    Boondock Saints
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

I'm going to add movies that they should watch so that they can say they saw terrible movies that were worse than what they saw at the theatres and worth the cash:

Zack and Miri Make a Porno
    Nowhere
    The Doom Generation

And The Anarchist Cookbook is a movie you should see for the heck of it.

    Fight Club
    Matchstick Men
    Friday
    Clerks
    300
    Candy
    Grandma's Boy
Wristcutters: A Love Story (not what you think)
Spaceballs or Star Wars (the originals)
    Shaun of The Dead
    Moulin Rouge

    These are my personal favorites;
most of them agree with other people's
    opinions as well.

Some aren't exactly originals, but I like them and
think they're worth atleast one chance.

    2001: A Space Odyssey
    A Clockwork Orange
    Dr. Strangelove
    Full Metal Jacket
A Scanner Darkly (I hate that this movie barely seems to even have a cult following, much less a mainstream one, it was pretty damned brilliant while being twisted enough to be cerebral)
Fear and Loathing in Los Vegas
    Pulp Fiction
    Blade Runner
    Dark City
    Sin City
Ehhh, I dunno if I'll stick around. We'll see.

Damn, was it? I'm a huge fan of Philip K. Dick, so I was avoiding that movie to save myself the trouble of tearing my hair out (movie adaptations of his novels tend to have that effect on me). Brilliant book.

I'm going to keep the words every man and woman in mind (i.e. Night of the Living Dead, Dead and Buried, and Dancer in the Dark are out, as is Dark City, although I'm glad some others have mentioned it).

Once Upon A Time In America
    The Sting
    12 Angry Men
    The Outlaw Josey Wales
    Battles Without Honor Or Humanity
    Heat
    Coffee and Cigarettes
    Amadeus
    La Femme Nikita
    The Motorcycle Diaries

Well, I think the overall changes can be summed up as the women whose name I forget no longer conspires against Coca-Cola and they combined two minor characters into one still minor character. It's the role Keanu Reeves was born to play i.e. a paranoid yet intelligent drug addict.
Ehhh, I dunno if I'll stick around. We'll see.

    I don't know. Here's a somewhat mind-melting trailer for the movie:
