I would love to play practical jokes,an crud. See one of my friends driving down the highway,an give 'em a flat tire while their on their way to work or something,lol. Push port-o-potties over at Warped Tours. Unplug stuff at huge game tournaments. Turn off tanning beds,an lock the people inside,hah. Put a virus on Bill Gates computer system,so he goes from the Richest man,to the Poorest man. Make every tv station play pokemon constantly xD. Record the Happy Birthday song,an continuesly play it on the radio,on every station,angering drivers in congested traffic,wrecking havic an creating massive pile ups. Spray paint "Go" on both sides of Traffic Safety patrolmen's stop sign,so every time they flip it around,the cars still keep coming,making the patrolmen jump over hoods of cars,haha. Imma be a bad ghost,lmao.

I second the free movies one.

I'd generally wander around and be an annoyance. Terrorize old people, kids, people in locker rooms - that'd be fun. I don't think I'd do anything violent, but I might haunt people I don't like. I don't think I'd try to blow them up or anything.

We'll find out when I'm dead, though. I hope I get to be a ghost, so I can see what happens to the world after I'm gone. I'd be watching for a very long time.

What about travel? Could I go anywhere, or would I be restricted to a location? Would I have to walk or spook onto a plane, or could I just...show up somewhere?

I'd try to see the world, if I could go anywhere.

I would haunt the people who have done wrong in the world that are still alive and make horrific images on walls and such.

Assuming I were to become a mischievious ghost I would

-Make people who complain about flash games/movies not based on quality but based on their computers loading them slowly load them even more slowly. They deserve every bit of nuisance.

-Make people who complain about animated gifs not loading for them due to their connection load them even more slowly. They deserve every second delayed by that.

-Make people in online games fail at taming pets (if there's a fail chance)

-Make people who judge online games by the lag they have lag even more, because they deserve every bit of the lag.

-Jam satellites that fly over Nicaragua, Greenland or other obviously harmless countries to make Pentagon think they developed anti-satellite weaponry.

-Make the traffic lights stay red longer than necessary even when it would be an optimal moment for green

Basically any sort of mischief that is absolutely harmless but can piss of whiners to the extent of a verbal complaint. But I'd have to get too bored from the other advantages of being a ghost first (assuming I can float and phase through stuff and all those flippy superstitions, probably the first few decades will be spent on attempting rightious deeds or looking over people).

I also wonder what restrictions there should be, like what level of interaction you can have with the outside world, wether you are bound to a location or person etc.

And likewise wether your mentality changes such as becoming an evil spirit (Muhyo and Rouji) or hollow (Bleach), get certain options (Skyhigh, Defense Devil) or probably get hunted down by some law system for not being allowed to linger around (Muhyo and Rouji, Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho).

Personally I think becoming a Shaman's personal ghost like in Shaman King would be hilarious.

For some reason I'm suddenly getting fond of the idea of Horohoro turning Hitsugaiya into a spiritball and putting him as oversoul on his own zanpakuto. Don't ask me why.

Haha, this thread kind of makes me feel that ghosts (which I believe) are good and just like to watch the living while being peaceful.

Anyway. I would probably haunt people who did bad things, or just float around the neighborhood and check out what's at the movies and stuff. It'd be pretty sweet, except I wouldn't be alive.

I'd watch free movies, haunt people I don't like, be a poltergeist for people I hate, and generally raise hell.

I'd also find someone who could see me and lead them on a wild goose chase to try and figure out why I died, and what I needed to rest in peace. Of course, I'd fake it once I was satisfied, and then harass someone else later.

I would go into all of the rooms that have the "Authorized Personnel Only" sign on them and see what is so important behind those doors. I would then go steal a car, drive the car off a cliff, and wait for the explosion. What could happen? I'm a ghost; I'm dead already.

The World would still go on. Sure, a few would mourn my passing, but, like the sea of stars above...if one were to flicker out and vanish, no one would really notice.
