I thought They Were Dry

I thought my eyes
Were dry I cried and grieved
For a good friend so much
That by Wednesday I was dry crying

I thought my eye
Were done, I thought
My mind had fried

But now I question
And whatever a human being
Can question

And these bubble and stir
Up emotions that I tend
To not feel or hide away

And they are not dry
Only Wednesday was the eye
Of the storm

I should be happy
Big man making big moves
But big man feels so little
Like a toddler when big man
Loses big friends and big family
