Can someone explain this to me.(Higuashi no Naku Kroro ni.)

(Theres probably already a forum or thread or something that explains this but)
I would like if someone explained it to me.:) Now i think i mostly understand it because i heard thats its about how feudal violence is. Because when ever someone is killed in higurashi there is a time lapse and things restart. But im not sure if this is relevant could someone out there that knows more than me about this please explain it to me. Thanks:)

Easiest thing to do would be to watch Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai (the second season). It explains the first season better than any of us could.
