Darkened Memories

Stalking in formless shadows,
Of memories, not illusions nor dreams,
There I walked in lonely lanes,
Of hopes that turned to despair.

Gazing at sinful pasts,
At results, not guilts nor mistakes,
There I screamed at painful scars,
At misery that could not end.

Craving for past struggles,
For change, not fight nor escape,
There I wished for final attempt,
For life free of darkened memories.

Well, yeah, it is a bit depressing poem. Actually, I myself was feeling a bit depressed, on top of that, I was listening to a very depressing song and so, words just flowed out like that.

I'm glad that you liked my quite depressing poem. However, I tend to write poems only when my mood and the situation concides, and that occurs occassionly, maybe once in a month or two. Also, when I write poems, I tend to make it short. Anyway, I appreciate your comment.
