Is there anything from your childhood that isn't around today, that you miss? It can be a thing, a person, an ideal... anything.

I don't care that I'm 21, I miss the old wooden see-saws, where one person would decide to leave and you'd end up on your butt... good times! Now they've been replaced by those weird metal spring ones, not cool man.

Oh yes yes, a thousand times yes. My old neighborhood had a certain area filled with little shops in this plaza area, which all got bulldozed to make an oversized fast food restaurant and a drug store. Oh, and the old movie theater in my town got replaced by a medical facility. I really miss those places, since I've had lots of childhood memories there. TT^TT

There are lots of other things and places that have been taken away since my childhood, but those are the ones that mostly stand out now.

A lot of the people that I used to know have left my life. Nevertheless there will always be more people around to befriend, which is exactly what I do. I am not a particularly shy person and I create friends very easily. I am easy to get along with and thus I make some really good friends on many occasions, despite missing a few of my other, older ones. I do still have permanent friends though which have stayed with me for many years.

Well I miss my Yoshi plush doll. I had the doll for like 7 years and then I lost it. It was weird when I lost it, but eventually I grew out of it. Every so often I think of it though.

Same here, bud. I have many many friends that I used to play with since baby-hood, but ever since I moved to the US, our relationships started to build gaps between, and whenever I go back to my hometown, they are sooo careless about anything about me.

But the good times I miss the most is when I was still a little kid, I go play badminton everyday with my best friend. We were like...the champions of the town that can ever play badminton with roller skates on. We were like...PRO!!!

- arcades that don't cost a dollar for one credit and you need two
- long summer breaks when school ended for the year (they lasted FO EH VAR!)

- not getting blamed for everything my little cousins would do since the blame would always go to my older sister

- That weird, diurnal Twin-Picks owl on the chimney, in kindergarten;
- Getting chased by "Danny-Fatso" down the stairs
- Those old Eugenia double-cookie-cream packs, especially the paper wrapped ones.

Well, that was a quite a relief.

Lack of child molestors. Back in the day when a man said he had candy in his car for you he meant it with no strings attached. Plus, they used to have obvious signs now anyone can be one. Sheesh, what a fad.

Omg @ the soccer. We broke so many of our neighbour's windows, that my parents bought a whole stack of window panes "just in case". Which also reminds me of street cricket, where we'd scram when we'd hit someone's car =D

I trick-or-treat on random days, just to see how people would react... and to see if I can get pity candy. Old people can be so nice.

-Sailor Moon at seven every morning.
-Pogs, that was legal gambling xD
-Retro T shirts that weren't too big or too small with silly designs and crazy colors.
-Being able to ride my bike anywhere in the neighborhood without getting taken/molested.
-Being friends with all the neighbors and holding casual conversation xD
-Those feet and leg powered vehicles decorated with barbie designs or something other.
-The music! >D I loved the 90's music! -sigh-
-Pokemon battles on the asphalt at school
-The game boys chase girls =D

-Easy homework

-The plastic horses that were held by springs to give the real horseback riding experience xD

-Old house.

But they were moved and now there is one of those housing estates.

Yeah, I know, but I do think I enjoyed my life in elementary, for it was so much easier and I don't have to think about some problems, plus less pressure =_=
