Glasses or Contacts

I prefer glasses.
I am afraid I'd like poke my eye out while trying to put contacts in. x.X
Plus I have glasses, and I am use to them. Though I am not too fond of them.. But yeah, lol.
And MoroDashi made the point I was going to. XD
How you only have to buy glasses once. And with contacts, you have to get things refilled and such.

I have both and i like glasses better. You can take them off when you read and they dont hurt your eyes as much over time. contacts drain the oxygen out of your eyes and cause problems in the future, but contacts are much sexier.

No contact lenses for me. I haven't tried one but I think it'll make me cry. Umm...I have very sensitive eyes. Even eyeliners (liquid or not) makes me cry. And so contacts will only give me problems putting them on.

There's something wrong with my eyes but I can see clearly. I used to wear glasses before, too. So yeah, glasses FTW!

I like glasses. They make one appear more intellectual and also more prettier. I think girls that wear glasses look cute.

Contact Lenses are more of a hassle too. With glasses it is just a simple case of balancing them on ones nose and placing them around the ears, which of course is easy. I would probably feel uncomfortable by placing things in my eyes for them to stay which is why glasses appear more simple.

Most here seem to think contacts are more of a hassle but hell, I've personally never had much trouble after the first to two days when I was learning to get them in. Ten seconds to put one in each eye and that was it. I didn't have to worry 'bout them for the rest of the day. Surprisingly, they never fell out.


When I wore glasses, I always had trouble with them. I used to play soccer a lot and well, I get hit in the face a lot by the ball. I had to take them off and remember where I put them, which is hard for me after 3 hours of soccer. And despite them being scratch resistant, mine were always scratched as hell. Also, my hair hates glasses.

I gave up on wearing glasses. There was a time when I had to wait for my contacs to come and wait for like a week. That was a painful week as I had to wear glasses all the time. Contacts are a lot better, specially when you do sport alot. I only wear glasses when I have taken my contacts off and have to read something at night in my room.

Not necessarily. I have very poor vision. If I wore regular glasses it would be like coke bottles. I wear slimline glasses. They don't appear very thick. They're very comfortable and I like them as well if not better than contacts. I prefer glasses because I don't have to sick my finger in my eye. I don't have to worry about taking them out before I go to sleep. I don't have to sterilize them. I don't have to worry about dry eyes and eyedrops.

I've worn glasses since I was in the second grade. I still wear glasses now but only when I'm in my house and don't have my contacts on. That should clue you in that I like my contacts better.
I really got tired of my glasses after 3rd grade. Which is why I broke them and didn't tell my mother until the middle of my 4th grade year. Lol. Contacts for me are just much more convenient, and besides none of the glasses I had looked cute or anything. So that didn't help anything at all, with contacts you just run the risk of them irritating your eyes. And I can deal with that just fine. ^^

i wear glasses, and besides, it's easier to put on glasses than contacts. but glasses sure have consequences with it. but it's fine since i'm used to it :]

Well, I have both (thankfully, due to my job and my insurance.) I just recently got contacts. Sometimes I prefer glasses though because they make things a little easier -- although, while dressing up and going out, contacts seem to be a better choice.

I have been wearing glasses for a while though, so i'm a little too used to them to get rid of them completely (normally, I am near-sighted, lol.)

Glasses, you know if you leave contacts in too long than try to pull them off you'll end up pulling off the thin outer coating of your eye as well. ._.

I do wear glasses at home, and often wear contacts when I go out. But now by hearing this, I should be confident when wearing glasses lol!

Glasses make anyone lok mad smart, and a flirty chick with glasses gains like 25 mil coy point... cuz you can't look up at somebody OVER contacts, they're just like your eyes, they don't really accesorize anything, but they accentuate nice eyes... wow, sorry, not my place to say that sorta thing...

I prefer contacts. I just got them and they make the color of my eye turn pure white with the rest of my eye(except the pupil). It freaks people out! So much fun.
