Hmmmmm. I notice some people saying British womens accents are hot. Agreed some of tham are. But what kind of accent though because I'm sure if you heard how some of the British women speak you'd shudder. Have any of you ever heard what a Chavette sounds like.......
I don't really have an accent, or at least I've never noticed it. If I have one, it's probably mildly Southern from living in Mississippi since I was 9 years old.
I have a Cannock accent, which is a sub-branch of the Stafford accent, I like to call it Chav Speak, as most of the words used are used by chavs and the lack of proper pronunciation, again just like chavs.
I sound like Japanese when I speak my own language and I sound like British when speaking English.
I can't say anything much about my own accent...people say I have lots.

Well, I was raised in Tennessee and now i live in Ohio, so Ive got a southern twang that really stands out to everyone else that has that touch of Midwesterner to their voice...but I dont really mind it - it makes me stand out in a conversation

Yeah, that's true by how many country is there in Europe. Even the Seattle accents and Texas accents can be different. Southern Chinese Northern Chinese language is big accent differences, no matter in grammer, way of writing, and the pronounciations are much different.European accents are kinda differed, depending on where in Europe they came from
I like my accent. Although I sound like a bit of a bimbo sometimes. :D
Look ma, no hands!
I can have a bit of an accent when speaking in English to other filipinos.
But otherwise I've got a bit of drawling russianism combined with that odd surfer lingo. California grown...

Urgh
I've got a Yorkshire accent
Plain and simple as
I absolutely hate it too, my American friend and Australian friend loves it, but it's not nice. I think I sound like a man.
And for the English on here that aren't from Yorkshire...
Yes I do say 'I'm off t'shops'
It amuses me no end
I love American accents though!

Well, I have an American accent. I don't have any quirks in my dialogue, aside from speaking very properly 95% of the time. No offense to anyone, but I cannot stand southern accents. It's so annoying, and I'm very glad I don't live in the south. Texan accents are the worst.

Strangely enough, when I returned to Japan after a few years in Texas some people pointed out I spoke English with a Texan accent. It must have been hella disconcerting, seeing a little Japanese kid speaking English like a Texan.
Ten years and a few countries later, and I speak pretty much generic American English. So as far as I can tell I have no accent. Which is kinda a shame.

Yep....I have a southern/italian accent and girls go crazy!!!
I can always hear other people's accents, but I have never really noticed an accent when I speak. Maybe it's because I have been taught English quite well, maybe it's my part English-Scottish background.
