I actually like the book, I'm on the second one now.
But, the movie I didn't like that much, I really didn't like it at all. I liked the casting for Bella, Edward, her Mother, the Cullens, Jacob, and Mike. But for everyone else not so much.
Kristen Stewart I kind of imagined for Bella, but maybe with a more plumper face. Edward a perfect match, and everyone else I said was a perfect match in my eyes.

I love the book but I heard that they are going to change it because of the movie, anyone else hear that? If they do then I'm going to be mad.

Twilight is my favorite-est book of all time! <333
sig by me.......
*thinks* hmmmmm, Twilight....lets see...Twilight was.....FREAKING BRILLIANT! the entire SERIES WAS BRILLIANT!
My sister is Kissed by Neji my OTHER sister is Morning Grace.......i gots family!
*takes a deep breath*
Okay, so, I admit, I was once as fan crazy about Edward Cullen as any other Twilight lover, but upon seeing the movie I've shunned the whole thing! It was mostly Robert Patterson >.> He ruined my whole "Twilight Experience" (lol)
The first book was captivating at first; but since the movie came out I haven't touched it
The second book was sick
The third book was nice, but there are better books
The final book wasn't...how I thought it would turn out...
So, if you haven't seen the movie and you want to read the series, from my own opinion don't watch the movie =P Just read the books!
Saying of the Week: "Whoa, it's been upgraded to stank. Just last week it was only stink. Stonk can't be far away!"
I liked it when I had never had read a vampire novel or a real romance novel.
That teen romance thing? Oh hellz no. I read horror.
Sig and avvie set by the wonderfully talented and amazing Bou. <3
Featuring the laptop I always used to complain and talk about in chat.
I may not use it anymore, but I still have it!
God no. It's just one of those teen (girl especially, though I do know some guys who enjoy it) obsessions. My friend begged me to read them. I did so entirely against my own will. They're merely another cheesy teen romance. Sure, the storyline's not bad, but it's not good/great either, and not too original (people have been writing about vampires for a long time, especially about having love affairs, and the consequences of having them with/as a "monster").
And I prefer The Host, as well, which I also read after a recommendation. Less romance, more fantasy/science fiction. It had an interesting plot. Though also not too original, it was better written (it didn't gag me). Readers were able to relate to the characters more closely and connect with them.
"Kisses, darling."Swoosh.Oofl.
Brilliant???
The book is brilliant?
Meyer raped that thesaurus, created the sparklepire which is nowhere near as awesome as a true vampire, and got negatively criticized by Stephen King, a much greater author.
The thing with Meyer is that her definition of "vampire" is flawed. They are monsters, not "attractive" twits who walk around in the daylight. Vampires don't commit domestic abuse on others. (See Mr. Sparkle/Ms. Mary-Sue relationship) Lastly, the most important one...VAMPIRES...DON'T...SPARKLE!!!!! Damn, Meyer's a moron. Trying to appeal to a young audience. She's just turning more girls into "twitards" with her ineptitude.“The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can’t write worth a darn. She’s not very good,”

On this day of days, most epic and prideful, you were born 15 whole American years ago!
Through the odds and by doing the impossible, you beat out hundreds of thousands of siblings in the great sperm race for the coveted egg.
Probably via hax.
Regardless! You won!
So remember, whenever someone picks on you or calls you weak or small.
Just remind them that you beat out a few hundred thousand other wimps.
And the grand prize was not dying!
i like the book twlight. my friend who ive know since 12 showed me the book.
i despise it...
i think Meyer just has a vamp fetish and wanted to publish some adult original-fiction but decided to tone it down so as to get more than dirty old men to read it...
bite me
Meyer is an awful writer. Twilight is a poorly written piece of "solid waste matter, composed of undigested food, bacteria, water, and bile pigments and discharged from the bowel through the anus" (Encarta ® World English Dictionary © & (P) 1998-2005 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.)
I never play to win. But I do play not to lose.
Here's a quote from Stephen King: "Stephenie Meyer can't write worth a darn. She's not very good."
He continues..."In the case of Stephenie Meyer, it's very clear that she's writing to a whole generation of girls and opening up kind of a safe joining of love and sex in those books. It's exciting and it's thrilling and it's not particularly threatening because they're not overtly sexual. A lot of the physical side of it is conveyed in things like the vampire will touch her forearm or run a hand over skin, and she just flushes all hot and cold. And for girls, that's a shorthand for all the feelings that they're not ready to deal with yet."
Well said, well said.

I really like it. It's more like a gooey, romantic story, so i wouldnt be surprised if guys dislike it.
The 2nd book was boring for me because it's more about the friendship between Bella and Jacob.
I still think that the book is better than the movie.

I tried reading the first book, but Bella's POV got tiring at page 10. Still, I wanted to know what the hype was all about, so I read the summaries for all the series (yeah, I wanted to see if Bella was going to change from moody teenager to something better)... and I was disappointed.
I still can't understand what's so great about Twilight. It's story is generic fanfic level, and it gets to be a best seller? Geez, if it's because of the romance, I think those cheesy novels that have Fabio on the cover would be a lot better.
Pope hat gives you the power to flyyyy!
Jibun Wooo~
I didn't think I would like it but I decided to give it a chance and read the first book. A little more then half way through I got bored and didn't read anymore for about two months. Then I decided to finish it and it got good towards the end. The other books are a lot better though. Ten days ago I started the second book and I am currently about half way through the fourth book.
I used to liked it... but not anymore... after reading the last book I started hating the story... happy ending love stories sucks...
