Do your parents or grandparents play video games?

So, I'm wondering, do your parents or grandparents play video games? What kind of games?

My entire family loves Nintendo. My mom's a fan of any Mario game, but mainly the old ones from the NES and SNES. My dad isn't really into video games, but he likes some of the more simple games for casual gamers. He tries to play the shooting games, but he's not very good. When we first got the Wii my whole family was up until 3 in the morning playing.

Now, my grandparents love video games. They always have the latest nintendo systems and games. I can remember me and my cousins watching my grandfather fight the wizard from Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past. Playing video games with my grandparents was a big part of my childhood. Haha. When we told them we didn't have a Wii they were appalled and came to our house in the next week with a Wii for us. XD

My mom used to like playing the Wii, but she lost interest in it in about month. I guess it's because she got tired easily. I don't think any of my parents or grandparents like video games.

My grandmother plays games. Has for 20+ years. Bought a NES before any of her grandkids (meaning me and my generation) had one. Still plays. Doesn't like most newer games because they're 3D, more complicated, and harder to manipulate for her. But she still goes and plays lots of NES, SNES, and PSX games.

Back when the N64 came out my dad played it more than I did. Everytime I wanted to play it I'd find him already using it. But since then I haven't seen him play any video games.

I've played Dynasty Warriors 4. I let my mom play 2 player with me, and noticed she somehow had gotten to Zhang Liang in the Yellow Turban Rebellion [as Cao Cao]. I forgot to tell her to equip the turtoise amulet and peacock amulet. "To the rescue I go, mother! *insert William Tell music*"

Yay for the shadow saddle. No knock-offage. She found the elephant hilarious.

My dad enjoys playing whatever I am (EQ, WoW and Diablo II) always ends up higher level decked out in epics and when I was little I remember switching off playing Doom and Castle Wolfenstein with him (I got scared XD). He used to play games me on the N64 but thankfully I beat him every time.

my dad plays videogames. he decided he liked my games so much, he went and bought his own 360 to play them on.
hes really into violent, shooty games too, which is great because it means i get to play gears 2 for free

Ha Ha my grandma and I went together and bought our wii systems together. It was cool. She is kick a** at the bowling. So whenever one of us dosen't have anything to do and I'm home from college we flip a coin and go to one or the others house and bowl till mom gets ticked and makes us go eat. My dad and I play the baseball together on the wii, Mario Super Smash Brothers Brawl, or, of course, the reptile close to both our hearts, Godzilla. Mom tries to act like she dosen't like to play but she's to competative. A little chicken call and she's up and ready to beat somebody down.

Well, my momma is kinda a sim addict. She was telling me the last time I visited how she beat "Sims: Island." I asked her how you can actually beat a Sims game and she just told me how they just took her off the island. I laughed. Other than that, she plays SimCity for the SNES (and other games like Mario or Mystical Ninja). She also loves Animal Crossing for the GC and the DS and is anticipating the Wii release.
I think for X-mas I'll grab her a bunch of Sims games for the PS2, if that won't make her happy I don't know what will. LOL

Mine do..My step-dad usually plays SOCOM and that sorta thing and my mom is obsessed with playing drums on Rockband. She's good, but she never lets me try so I end up singing or playing lead guitar. My uncle plays Wii Sports and my Grandfather plays Pong and Pac-Man...he's got the old arcade systems you see at arcades and stuff...

My dad does play video games, and mainly playing Resident Evil and Cold Fear. These are his favorite games that he said he gets into the game every night. Sometimes he challenges me playing Tekken.
