Lingering waft,
The air of the sea,
Granted by the maiden of the misty breeze
In hopes and in dreams of what life could bring,
The power of the ocean rising up to sing
The psalms of determination take flight
As the undersea flora and fauna hold tight
Like roots which all have grafted so..
Onto and about our very souls
These waves they flicker and refract so far
Like the gleaming radiance from distant stars
Which shine bright inside us who hold tight
To our hopes and dreams every night
Tightly grasped to our strings of the past
And shattered numb by our wrongs,
Caring warmth like mother to child
Fill each of our life songs
Like mother ocean: Goddess of the Sea
Held inside we all try to be,
A perfection within an insurrection
Rebellious towards our own complexions
Though unlike her we are obviously,
Self defeating in our travels across the wide open sea
The sea that we have felt since birth
Humanity’s emotion which envelopes this earth
But let it all go now
Look up to the stars
They are right at hand
Even when so very far
Because we can endure
We can hope and believe
In a truer self confidence
And never deceive-
No more then what we have soiled
Or any lands we razed
If we take the right route
We can live out our days-
In peace and in right with no reason to fight
No matter shall be above observing
Because when you let out your light
No one shall be undeserving
