Anyone watching this?I just finished watching episode 12 (and last one),and I can say that it is one of the funniest series around.Sure, you won't find every episode funny,but the majority of the episodes is pure win.A must for every comedy and Metal fan, and not only.
Read someplace that a second season might be aired.Hope that's true!*crosses fingers*

I watched it when it first became available from Huzzah & Scum-Scans. And have been following it since. The intro on the first episode threw me and then the infamous line "And the band I joined..." Then *Opening* After that I knew I was in for a good ride. Some of the content is adult oriented. Sexual references and cursing but it adds to the humor.
So I second this if you are of age to handle said content.

I read about in a magazine, but the art looked... strange. And the plot even more so. Is it seriously any good?

It is definitely worth watching if you like funny, over the top anime (with lot of swearing as Kie_D_K said).
You can't go wrong with Studio 4 C
I'm waiting to see if I can buy the DVD's and I have been sadly reading the scans, but if the manga ever comes to the shores.
