PROLOGUE; a plan set in motion.


Deep space, year 3015 a.a. (after ascension)

In some cultures balance is the most essential and domineering of principles. Humanity and nature, space and time, right and wrong, the sensitive scale that overseers our fate is not intended to be tipped in any one direction.. and yet.. It is believed that if the balance of the cosmos is disrupted, great calamity would befall the universe. On this fateful day, such an event occured..

A full scale starship hovered in the furthest outreaches of space, only the light from stars lightyears away could witness what was occurring here. Two human forms glided closer to the tiny object, a small, intensely glowing crystal, not much larger then a melon. One of the space suited figures reached out to touch the object, and it cracked, a small shard breaking loose and soaring away through space. After being scolded the figure then used a mechanical hand to capture the small crystal in order to bring it aboard the starship.

A dark sillhouetted figure standing in the starship's bridge smirked to himself as he witnessed the object being retrieved, speaking aloud to the surrounding darkness. "The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light. The stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. They will see.. coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory..." The words flowed, quietly and foreboding, from his lips. "They will see..."

HISTORY; the world of Dues Ex Machina.


This story takes place in the distant future, during the year of 3033 a.a. The earth as we know it ceases to exist, the planet is merely a shadow of a memory. It is nearly desolate after the wars that plagued it centuries ago, and is now not much more then a historical exhibit, heavily policed and only accessed by those with special permissions. Humanity instead exhists on man-made colonies throughout the solar system. There are hundreds that orbit the sun, each with their own habitats and ways of living. (think a final fantasy-esque environment, the technology is very advanced, however some aspects of culture remain primitive)

All of these colonies are ruled under the ISSU; the Inner Solar System United. The ISSU's democratic government is a very large group of representatives of each colony, being presided by a council of seven who have powers much like a president. The ISSU's 'fist of power' is the millitary organization known as STARR. STARR is the most powerful organization ever created, it's millitary advancements are legendary, and it's space exploration ventures have paved ways for new discovery.

But an event 18 years ago rocked the ISSU and altered their way of existence. The arrival of the Corrupted. The Corrupted are "demons" who terrorize the galaxy. They are violent, primitive creatures, able to travel freely through space and arrive without warning. Where the creatures originate from or what they are exactly, no one knows for certain. The ISSU has now declared itself in a state of war, a war being waged against the Corrupted. STARR agents police the ISSU in an effort to keep them from destroying colonies, and STARR's research division works tirelessly to find ways to stop them and find out their origins. STARR's first real breakthrough in this battle comes in the newly engineered class S weapon, the first weapon of it's kind, METATRON.

STORY; what the rpg entails.


Our story begins when STARR intercepts information pertaining to an object known as "The Armageddon Core". It's location and power is a mystery, although based on the information it may possibly be tied to the existance of the Corrupted. The newly appointed Captain of Team 17, Ryo Miyamoto, is assigned a team of agents to carry out the mission of investigating what the Armageddon core is, who wants it, and what for. The newest STARR creation, the weapon METATRON, is to accompany them on this mission for it's first field test.

The Renegades have also obtained this information, and also aim to stop whomever the mystery group is from obtaining the Armageddon Core. Along with that the Renegades intend to keep whatever the Armageddon Core is out of STARR's hands too, in order to prevent the millitary organization from having any more power.

The rp begins with Ryo meeting most of his team for the first time. Little do they know that they're now involved in an intricate conspiracy.. which side is the right one? And just what roles will each of the characters play in the coming revelation..?

The Renegades are a group of outcasts founded 16 years ago by the late Advant Gavanti, in response to an unkown incident. The Renegades police the ISSU much like STARR does, protecting the people, but they're vigilantes who attack STARR members in addition to attacking the Corrupted. They're often called 'space pirates', because they're not permitted to use their ships or ride their Arcs, and some dabble in other illegal activity. Because of this they're always in a tug of war against STARR. The Renegades have a firm belief that STARR's existence and motives aren't as honorable as they appear..

LOGOS, a major weapon's manufacturer, is a mysterious organization that seems to have it's hand in everything. They are very 'behind the scenes', but appear to have a strong pull of power. The owner of LOGOS is a mysterious man known as Xaviel Illuminati. His four associates are rumoured to be very powerful, but not much is known about them either. LOGOS appears nearly everywhere where suspicious activity is involved, seeming to be much more then a weapon's manufacturer.. so then just what is their true purpose..?

Arcs; Armored Replicant Combat Suits, are the mecha battle suits that are used for heavy combat purposes, most belonging to the class C weapons category (that does not apply to customized Arcs). Arcs can be used in space effectively and are often used as an alternative to ship battle. Arcs are standard issue to members of STARR, and are widely manufactured for that purpose. An Arc is an extension of it's human counterpart, "linking" with the human's mind. This allows the human to render commands through thought process, and also feel vibrations or trauma from battle. The higher grade the arc, and the higher level the pilot, the more fluid and effective the "link", but also the most dangerous, and thus only truly experienced fighters choose these upgrades. Many Arcs are fitted with Customations, sometimes called C-Arcs, and ranging but not limited to different weapons, frames, or cpus. Often the customizations of an Arc raises it's weapons class, some Arcs even rivaling lower scale battleships.

The Corrupted have many names. Some believe them to be aliens, some demons, and some ghosts, and others even believe them to be angels sent to enact righteous judgement on humanity. There are many theories that surround the suspicious arrival of these mysterious creatures. The Corrupted come in a variety of shapes and sizes, with different species and abilities. When Corrupted are in direct contact with humans, they are able to drain their lifeforce and mutate. This does not work with all humans however, some humans are unnaffected by this ability of the Corrupted. This phenomenon is, as is many of the details of the Corrupted, a mystery.

Stigma is a very rare phenomenon that has been occurring in some humans recently in the past hundred years. Stigma is different in everyone and in some instances similiar. Many of the abilities stem from telekinisis and ability to intereact with certain elements, and also may involve unnaturally heightened sense or abilities. Many who posess Stigma are sought after by STARR and often become members of the millitary organization.

The Outbreak Incident occurred seven years ago on the Pleroma colony. A virus was released into the public through unknown means in order to "forcibly" awaken Stigma within the citizens of Pleroma. The virus however was not yet perfected, and only had a minimal fraction of success. On that night it spread through the Pleroma colony and infected thousands, some dying instantly, although it mutated within many, causing extreme, uncontrollable violence. The night erupted in chaos, the infected massacring eachother. Few survivors infected with virus did indeed have a Stigma awakening, forcibly unlocking their inhuman abilities as intended. Many of these humans that posessed Stigma were eventually recruited into STARR because of the usefullness of their abilities in combat.


The Final Wars are the last battles carried out on Earth over 500 years ago before the agree to ceasefire and the Ascension. Centuries ago it seemed these wars would destroy Earth and all of mankind, and nearly did. However, to the surprise of many, an agreement was made between all of the warring countries in order to save humanities' existence. During that time resources on Earth ran low, and countries began the Final Wars in order to gain more territory and more resources to support their people. It was an all out battle for survival. With the heightened technology, the war rocked the planet, nearly destroying it entirely. Finally a ceasefire was made in order to save what was left of the sickly Earth, and the plan for the Ascension was hatched; man made colonies would be created in order to give each country it's own share of properties, and there would no longer be inhabitants living on Earth. This was the only way to save the planet, to remove what was causing it's destruction; humans. After the Ascension, more and more colonies were created, the ISSU was developed, and the Earth began to slowly heal.

Personality: Meta's behaviour patterns are governed by three rules; logic, probability, and completion of missions. Because of this it's response to situations is often deemed cold and unsentimental by humans. However this sort of personality structure allows it to be able to take orders without hesitation and to make completely unbiased decisions. It has also been noted that Meta shows signs of curiousity, and asks alot of questions that may appear strange to humans.
Strengths: Has a one of a kind ability, named "Ultima". METATRON can summon it's own weapons at will, so long as it has downloaded enough information to create the weapon. Meta also has inhuman strength, at full power able to lift over sixty tons. It's fighting style is unique and comprises of parts of some of the greatest martial arts styles. Meta is also highly flexible and dextrous, and can move at hyperspeeds. Can also 'communicate' with other forms of technology, an ability used to hack or relay information.
Weaknesses: Has been engineered with every intent to have no personality or physical defects.
History: METATRON has been a project of STARR's for 7 years, and has just recently been released for field testing. Further information restricted access only.

Personality: Ryo has always been a leader, even as a child. He is very chivalrious and brave, and is known for having a strong sense of doing what is right. He always appears to have a very calm, cool and collected demeanor about him, but he's not unknown to have a good laugh, especially with those he's comfortable around. Though for all of his perfect qualities, it seems as if there is always a note of sadness in his eyes, caused from something traumatic in his past that he feels guilty for.
Strengths: Ryo has been noted as being "the greatest mecha pilot STARR has to offer" by his comrades and superiors. His natural skill with his ARCs was ultimately what nominated him for his Captain position, and earned him the title "Crimson Lightning". He is also well-learned in martial arts, and with a variety of weapons, though he prefers his set of pistols.
Weaknesses: Ryo is normally well collected, however when things go out of control he tends to blame himself, usually when it's not his fault at all. At times he will put himself in danger if it means to save a comrade's life or meet a goal. He often puts the world on his shoulders. At times Ryo will have anxiety attacks when dealing with situations reminiscent of his past, causing him to hesitate.
History: Growing up, Ryo was a foster child on the loose on the Pleroma colony. Having been shipped home to home, he grew up on the streets and was often out running with other mischevious kids rather then being confined in the home of his adoptive parents. Ryo had lost his own parents during the infamous Stigma Incident, and having been there for the entire ordeal, it was very traumatic for him. Ryo hardly ever mentions his parents or his life before being orphaned, and so details are yet to be known. During his early teen years, Ryo was quickly getting noticed for his fighting talent, but even so, his life was going nowhere fast. After getting into some small-time trouble, Ryo had a chance meeting that changed his life. A meeting with a man named Onyx. After that he was recruited to STAAR, and started working for them.
Stigma: Ryo was one of the rare survivors of the Stigma incident, and thus posesses Stigma. He has the ablity to 'see' beyond what any normal human could. His eyes can focus extremely far away, can see in dark, and can even see things seconds before they happen, but only a few seconds. In a way it is like a sixth sense, and used to that effect to alert him of danger or a changing in surroundings.
Weapons: He uses two unique pulse pistols, and his Arcs, Setsunakuteii.
Arcs: [image] Ryo uses a custom-built ARC, which he has named Setsunakuteii. Ryo's customized Arcs was given to him 2 years ago by one of STARR's Generals, Onyx. He has since modified it himself, and calls it Setsunakuteii. The Setsunakuteii is nearly unrivaled on the combat field with Ryo as it's pilot. It's major function is it's Over-Drive and, later in the story, it's Soul-Drive. These boosting modes allow the Setsunakuteii to move at hyperspeeds and unlock unlimited energy, however the linking between pilot and mecha at this point is so extreme, that if the Arcs was to sustain any harmful damage Ryo would in effect die.

Personality: Samyaza is burns with a chill fire, nursing old scars and letting them consume him. He always stands apart and bits the hands of all who would reach out for him. He keeps mostly to himself and casts disparaging comments upon all he deems ‘maggots’, ‘fools’ and ‘peons’. In battle, he cares not for the lives of enemy and comrades alike, willingly sacrificing those placed under his command. What wounds he keeps inside are unclear but whatever they are they leave him with a burning desire to surpass all others and a particular individual who has cast a shadow of pain over his entire life.
He is, however, incredibly intelligence, quickly able to determine the end of any string of events. Possessing a wealth of intellectual and combat experience, there are few situations where he doesn’t have some amount of expertise.
Strengths: High cognitive capacity, quick reactions, combat skills
Weaknesses: mentally unstable, addicted to several drugs, lacks mid-range weaponry

The test subject, 66G, joined the Grigori as most do ***data lost***.
After undergoing the process of selection, 66G was converted into the biological CPU it is today. Its was placed on a regimen of several drugs, including grail, that increased his physical bodies response and were controlled by the Fruit born in its brain. As a result, its major neuro-pathways are swollen. As with all specimans it developed an addiction to the substances that such that without them its body would undergo a complete shutdown.
After the process it was placed in the second level of the Grigori training program. After several months it was deemed suitable, due to its quick reasoning and ability to deal with abstract situations, for the role of Tactical Grigori.
It has since taken part in many missions, both alone and with several of the other Grigori. Most Grigori have difficulty getting along with others and the newly dubbed ‘Samyaza’. While, the longest serving (though not technically eldest) Grigori ‘Samyaza’ is by no means the leader. It possesses some authority over the others as the tactician however, it is in constant conflict with the Recon and Assault Grigori. However, the Defensive Grigori often takes its side.
We have noticed, increased hostility from Samyaza after returning from Mission 76-2 and have noticed psychological occilations typically associated with planning though we are currently unaware of what these may correspond.
Stigma: the Fruit (its effects are not clear however all Grigori possess it and it is attached to high levels of intelligence, rapid thinking, and heterocromia )
Weapons: Lance of Longinus and the Crucifix Rail Rifle.
Arcs: FS-666 Nephilim. FS model ARCs are different from their counterparts and were developed specifically for the Grigori project. The main difference is that an FS model lacks a CPU and thus linking does not occur in the traditional sense. Commands are not given to a CPU which than translates the command from something like ‘move left arm’ to ‘move such and such gears with X newtons of force to Y degree while putting Z newtons of counter force to prevent drift. Instead, such calculations are handled by the Grigori themselves. While this may seem like a disadvantage it allows the Grigori to perform complicated maneuvers and bizarre convolutions that would be almost impossible if it were translated by a CPU. In addition the lack of CPU link makes the process far less dangerous than for main stream ARCs. *********** FS-666 was designed specifically with Tactical Grigori in mind. Designed to rapidly respond to changing conditions it possesses the ability to deal with any situation though not necessarily the most effective at any one. Its main armament is made possible only by having a Grigori-based CPU. The main rail gun can bend its projectile along paths defined by a quadratic formula given by the main CPU (i.e. the grigori). This means it can bend in ways that will hit areas it would not otherwise be able to and which tradition CPU/user interfaces just can’t. It allows wields a scythe and to shoulder mounted shielding units.

Personality: Never the party-pooper of the group Yoshiro lives life to the fullest. That includes constant womanizing and some alchoholic beverages added to the mix. Yoshiro is very emotional. He's a hothead, prone to resorting to violence when things don't go his way. He's also a bit of a whiner and is the first to complain. Though, despite his exterior, he's got a heart of gold and often shows his compassionate side, the first one willing to help those in need.
Strengths: Yoshiro's reckless, take-risk piloting style has made him top-notch in the field. He often leaves pursuers of his battleship baffled, and left eating stardust. Besides his talent at the helm, Yoshiro is also a talented martial artist, using his kickboxing-type technique against his enemies. Yoshiro prefers to say what he wants with his fists rather then using weaponry.
Weaknesses: Yoshiro's weakness for women is a major concern for all those around him. He also uses violence as an answer for all things, and this gets him into trouble. He's not very good at long range combat either, and doesn't like to use guns or the like, his aim's not that great.
History: Yoshiro was the grandson of Advant Gavanti, the Founder of the Renegades. Yoshiro lived with his father and mother in an abusive lifestyle for years on the Pleroma colony (he was childhood friends with Ryo while living there) before moving with his grandfather on Aestas. His grandfather taught him everything about piloting and fighting. Yoshiro and his grandfather traveled space together until he passed away recently, giving the reigns of the Renegades to Yoshiro. Yoshiro humbly passed along the offer, saying that he just wanted to be free to travel space. Still, he holds a high ranking position in the Renegades, and has his own battleship.
Stigma: None. Although he was on Pleroma during the Stigma Incident, he was not one of those infected.
Weapons: The metal gauntlets on his hands. Yoshiro prefers to fight hand to hand, mainly because of his bad aim although he wouldn't admit it.
Arcs: [image] Yoshiro has a standard power Arcs that he calls Daredevil. Daredevil is an overly large mech that's major skill is it's power, over speed and agility. It's primary weapon is it's King's Gauntlet, an oversized first on the mecha's right arm which has incredible crushing power.

Personality: Xaviel is a mysterious man. He always seems to know more then he ever tells. He appears to delight in manipulating people and events, and happens to be good at both. He is described as being very charismatic, and has also been described by others as having a cruel and sadistic side.
Strengths: Able to get what he wants from most people. His weapon's producing company, LOGOS, holds great power and is very profitable. Xaviel appears to have many mysterious abilities, and also has access to all sorts of weapons. He isn't a heavy weapon's user however, and prefers to have others do his fighting for him. Still, his Arcs piloting skills are rumored to be the best there is.
Weaknesses: Xaviel always counts on getting what he wants, and things going his way. He does not believe that anyone would ever oppose his reasoning, and there lies his greatest weakness. He also relies on his subordinates to carry out things for him.
History: Xaviel's past is shrouded in mystery, however he apparently seems to know alot about historic events from a first-person perspective...
Stigma: It is unknown whether Xaviel possesses Stigma.
Weapons: Does not appear to use any weapons.
Arcs: [image] Uses a large black Arcs titled "Archangel". The Archangel carries a large black broadsword and is outfitted with numerous energy armaments, however all weapons have yet to be disclosed.

Personality: Sophie is very proper, and is always coaching others on their manners. She's fairly intelligent, most often found reading. Her favorite subject is history. Sophie cannot handle seeing others in pain or suffering, and she becomes emotional in response.
Strengths: Sophie has mastered the old art of fencing, having come from a noble household. She's not the strongest but has a fierce sense of determination to help protect others, not wanting to see anyone get hurt, most of the time even her enemies. She also has alot of handy history information. Sophie is a trained medic as well.
Weaknesses: Inflicting harm on others bothers her, even when it is necessary. She also has a bad habit of always correcting others behaviours, and sometimes that gets people upset with her.
History: Sophie once had a twin sister, Marie, but she was killed during an attack by the Corrupted over 5 years ago. Her and her sister were very close. Growing up Sophie would play the piano, and her sister would sing. After Marie died, Sophie stopped playing. Because of her twin's death, Sophie and her parents rarely speak to one another, they feel too much grief even just looking at her, her face alone a reminder of their dead daughter. Sophie herself still suffers the grief of her lost twin, a sadness she carries alone.
Stigma: Does not have Stigma.
Weapons: A fencing sword. She's also a talented medic.
Arcs: Pilots the Harmonus, a standard Arcs that specializes in defense. It's major weapon is it's Mirror Wall, a forcefield able to reflect energy attacks. [image]

Personality: Described as rude and unfriendly, Viktor isn't a people person, and it takes some dedication to get past his rough exterior. When someone does though they will find that he isn't as bad as he pretends to be. He posesses his own strange honor code, and always believes in keeping promises made. Viktor often plays the teacher to everyone else, offering wise advice on dealing with situations.
Strengths: Viktor is very wise when it comes to battle, having been in STARR for years. He knows what it is like to lead, and to be a part of a team. His fighting style is mastered and focuses around his lance, making him a very strong opponent.
Weaknesses: Viktor is seclusive and doesn't communicate his feelings to others. He is the first one to decide against a battle that seems even the slightest bit unwinnable, often preferring to walk away instead. At times this is a strength for him, but also a weakness.
History: Viktor isn't very open about his past, however he has a deep rooted hatred for Xaviel, the Founder of LOGOS. The two of them seem to know eachother well. It was also revealed that he once had a wife and daughter, but they are no longer living. He doesn't like to talk about them much, obviously never having gotten over their deaths.
Stigma: Does not have Stigma.
Weapons: A massive lance which he keeps tied to his back.
Arcs: A dark blue standard STARR Arcs which he calls Captain. It is outfitted with energy weapons and shields. Viktor doesn't prefer to use his Arcs often however, he says he "doesn't like linking with Arcs", and doesn't explain why that is.

She's loud and doesn't hide her feelings about things, she's very open-minded too. Casey's always acting silly and making others laugh. She strongly believes in the bonds of friendship and will do anything for her friends.
Strengths: Casey is an excellent engineer, and usually handles the repairs on Yoshiro's ship. But her skill with machinery doesn't stop at ships, she's also good with technology, busying herself with repairing, hacking, and inventing things. Many of these talents stem from the fact that she is a "technopath".
Weaknesses: Casey is often causing trouble for everyone with her 'invincible' attitude, often drawing danger or unintentionally putting everyone and herself in danger. She also has a big mouth and has trouble keeping secrets.
History: Casey is from a rich family on Aestas colony. Her parents wanted her to take up dance as a child, but Casey rebelled and ended up running away. She quickly joined the Renegades, seeing that they could give her the opportunity to develop her abilities and live freely the way she would like. She is a part of Yoshiro's crew and is very close to him, looking up to him like an older brother. Even though they fight all the time.
Stigma: Has technopathy, the ability to communicate commands with advanced technology. Her technopathy isn't that highly developed, and she can only command technology with a cpu. The highest technology she has been able to command is Class C, but with difficulties. She normally uses this ability for hacking and stealing information, or relaying information (like false cordinates or the like) which has proved very useful.
Weapons: Casey carries a pulse pistol and has fair skill with it. She mostly relies on the others in her group however and her technopath skills.
Arcs: Does not pilot an Arcs.

Personality: Sumi is in it to win it, her ambitions rule her actions. It is her goal to climb the ladder of STARR, and reach the ranks of her late father, Tetsuya Takahashi. She is cold and ruthless to anyone that stands in the way of her goals. She always follows the rules and believes in STARR faithfully.
Strengths: Sumi fights with two laser embedded katanas. She is very skilled with her blades. She also carries a pulse pistol handy. Sumi's attitude drives her to always do her best to reach her goals.
Weaknesses: Sumi is naive and believes in STARR blindly. She also cannot accept defeat or failure, and doesn't like recieving help from others.
History: Sumi is the daughter of the legendary Tetsuya Takahashi, one of the Generals of STARR. Tetsuya Takahashi was revered by all, but Sumi herself rarely got to spend any time with her father. As a child this troubled her deeply and she sought to amend it by becoming 'a child he could be proud of'. She planned to do this by becoming a General in STARR herself, on an equal level with her father. Unfortunately he passed away five years ago. Still, his passing only made her wish to achieve her goal even more, and now she will let nothing stand in her way.
Stigma: Does not have Stigma.
Weapons: Two katanas embedded with lasered edges, capable of cutting through almost anything. She also has a standard issue Arcs, Punisher.
Arcs: Punisher, Sumi's Arcs, is a standard issue Arcs to STARR personnel. It carries a multitude of energy based weapons, Sumi has also requested that it be outfitted with a special modification to suit her fighting style, two laser embedded blades.

History: Not much is known about Kaede's past. All that is known is that Xaviel stumbled her talent and keen eye in weapon and Arc design. She soon became one of his close associates and took responsibility in designing custom Arcs for Xaviel and the other 3 associates.
Stigma: Control of metal. The few who know of this ability believe that she uses this to help her in her design work.
Weapons: Unknown
Arcs: The Omega. She named it after the nickname given to her, since she feels it is an extension of herself. Its thin, sleek and fast. Attached to the hip is a small strip of metal, which she uses her Stigma her shape into various weapons. Her favorite being a scythe.
Sample: Kaede looked over her new design plans and sighed to herself. They were fast, but heavy. She knew that they could be much faster and worth far more money if she could find a way to shed weight on the new X-series. Inferior metal would make the pilot vulnerable, which may lead to a sales drop. Her only option was to remove a few upgrades, but which ones?

Heritage: "Sigma - 07", A colony located in the farther reaches of the Galaxy, which generally nears Pluto.

• Personality: Humility, Honor, Logic, Poetic (To the point of a spiritualism)- All describe Sigurd's personality. Enigma, is what he seems like to many people because of his ways. Through all the conflict that he has seen, he's still warm hearted and one of the most upright warriors. (Some would say he embraces a warrior sort of code)

• Strengths: Intelligence with his Physical dexterity, Strength and Coordination. Martial Arts expertise, reflex coordination. He wields dual Pulse Sabers (Lollightsaber) and a set of two longer Pulse pistols that snap together to form a Pulse Rifle (lolAliens). But due to his ability to use his Sabers, the gun(s) usually becomes useless. He was able to deflect a few shots before he had his Stigma, and with it he becomes a deflective vortex.

• Weaknesses: A deflective Vortex usually has a hard time scaling a vast area fast. Maneuverability is traded for protection in this case, at least when there are enough rifles to pin him down. His courage as well as honorable personality combined with his knack for getting the job done usually results in him taking most of the burden upon himself in battle, or other task.

History:
Raised on Sigma - 07, he was found along the streets of the outer suburbia exposed to the elements. When he was taken in my the Azazelio family, they had only been mere middle class sort of folk. But a year into his life with them, they came into a large fortune, sending him off to the best academies throughout his life.

His foster parents fed him, and clothed him. But they weren't anything more to him than a life support machine was to a coma victim. Cold, supplying him with the tools to survive. All but warm hearts. At the very least, the servants that he grew up with did show him such things.. But very rarely did he find them within the family establishment after being sent into the academies.

A year before graduation, an outbreak also happened around Sigma - 07, and his 'foster family' all but perished.. All but a couple of their actual children. The horrors they saw in that house were.. Well, horrible to be quite frank. Sigurd survived by taking his Cadet Pulse Pistol to any of the insane ones who found him.. He was eventually rescued by the local authorities.

After some time the massacre at the house was covered up. His Stigma appeared a week after the incident as he felt so alone. While sitting in his thought driven processes he felt such warmth and such.. comfort while it enveloped him, as if he was never really alone.

Sigurd felt as though he could see the very compounds that made everything, sense the motion of the air and the vibrations of the sounds about him. He felt as though he were seeing through the very eyes of 'God', or maybe just a Star.

He put away his part of the family fortune before he was drafted into STARR (When they descovered him they took him right in). There he learned a fraction more about his stigma, and developed his skills of the trade (Things which were outlined in the academies, now enforced harder). He was in the military all of his life, and ever since the incident he has striven to show the care and humanity that his foster parents never seemed to show him. Awkward at first, he started getting the hang of it, especially through poetic verses which he used to tie down his ideas of Philosophy and Courage.

Stigma: Star Eyes: Much like Ryo's Eyes, his gives up a few traits in return for a few different ones: first of all, this stigma makes his eyes shine like the galaxy itself, with irises painted like the midnight sky filled with stars. There are two 'specks' in each eye that float around the pupils, which look like tiny stars brighter then the glints in the backdrop of his irises.
-These eyes don't let him see in the dark, but they do allow him to process more information, as well as sense the sort of things he views (Much like a 'scanner') This means he, too, has faster hand-eye coordination, but it suffers the slack under Ryo's eyes by actually linking his mind with matter and energy around the universe. This allows him to use a sort of 'Telekinesis' and Matter/Anti-Matter/Energy manipulation. Spacial and physical recognition and manipulation are accessed in little-to-no time.
-The drawback of any telekinetic, or Matter/Energy shifting he does is the harder the task, the more focus, and the more mental strain he takes.

-We'll say he has the ability to scan(Energy/Spacial/Physical recognition), Hand-eye, and some Telekinesis for the start.
-Later he'll manipulate Energy, Matter/Anti matter.
-Moving onto Shifting Matter and energy with a higher form of Telekinesis. Tack on Greater scanning, deeper accuracy.
-Full potential, as well as 'C-Flash Modulation' (The full connection between he and his Arcs)

Weapons:

• Two Pulse sabers, one with a longer hilt and wider red blade, the other with an average sized white blade and hilt- both customized to fit his fighting style. As well as durable enough to handle his Star Eyes manipulating their energy output. (He calls them Faux and Saex (Respectively).)

• Twin Long Pulse Pistols: Which combine by their barrels and hilts to create a pulse rifle when he needs more accuracy, or just a longer range.

Arcs:

Fafnir: Custom ARCS built for Sigurd's personal use. The materials were happily 'donated' for his project when they offered him the position when he was younger, and ever since then it was Sigurd and Fafnir like brother and brother. Fafnir is built to be light and agile, with it's main priority being swift close combat.

When Sigurd pilots Fafnir, he can alternate the wavelengths of his cannons, or his blades just as well can they connect to the point where the Star Eyes is enhanced though the ARCS itself. When this occurs, they can manipulate the matter and energy around them to make it seem like they are faster then the speed of light, or in another view, slow down the energy and matter around them to make them seem faster. (I'll give it a name eventually)

After this is done, however, there's very little more either the ARCS or Sigurd can do other then hope they don't die (get destroyed, ect).

Sample:

Seeds of time, seeds of fate.. The seeds of battle and the seeds which give birth to our food. Crucio bobbed and weaved around every missile with Fafnir, jaunting towards their target with great speed and maneuverability. First target, they slashed through in a split second, the second was collateral damage from the first.. The third one strafed with their cannons firing, every shot swayed in a minute degree towards another direction, before leaving an opening cut through by the lime green beam from Fafnir's wrist module. The last target was finished, and all there was left to do was go home.

"Home.. Where is home?" He questioned as he pulled the mechanical helmet-device from his head, and slipped from the large leather chair onto the metal floor. He finished his simulation for the day, again with near top ranks. What was he missing? He finished the 'job' without much damage, and without much fuss. Was he missing something else? No, he couldn't doubt himself. He always did his utmost.

" I will transcend.. And finally separate, myself from this deficiency, ascend from this destiny.. Narrate myself to inner victory. " He recited in a low voice to himself as he'd walk down the hallways of HQ, minding himself and his own thoughts.

Lance of Longinus: The Lance of Longinus is a prototype spear weapon. It has two main blades that are split in the middle to allow a laser beam to rise through the center. This beam can be lengthed and shortened by the wielder up to a total of three feet in length.

In addition the laser system can be focused into a single massive burst of energy providing quick access to heavy weapons scale power.

However, we have heretofore been unable to make a suitable cooling system to handle the heat generated by the laser system while still keeping the lance usable as a melee weapon. Currently, it is balanced for combat however, the it will overheat rapidly if the blade is left on for more than a couple minutes or if the main blast is used. To protect the material used in the prototype, it will fast dump the excess heat. Unfortunately this means the wielder will suffer sever burns, however, the Grigori are expendable and so this is deemed a suitable risk and field testing began.

Currently, we have only given Samyaza the Lance of Longinus and he appears to be skilled enough with it to have exceeded our expectations and not died.

Crucifix Rail Rifle: A simple rail rifle. It has actually moved past prototype stages, however, Samyaza seems enamored enough with the weapon to request it being his permanent weapon. Given his loyal execution of the missions he has been given we have allowed him this grace.

Currently, the rail rifle is still being adapted to the assembly line. The finished model will most likely be scaled down somewhat in power in order to avoid some of the more expensive materials that had been used in the prototype that Samyaza uses.

The production model will not be able to pierce frigate class hulls, as the prototype could, however this has been deemed a suitable sacrifice as it will also prevent what has been described as "backsliding". Basically, the prototype model has to be recalibrated after every shot to keep shooting where the scope points. Grigori are able to take this backsliding into account however, it was deemed to difficult for normal soldiers to deal with in the heat of battle.

Staar came to research the matter and were surprised to find a 20 year old woman they could see through and who got angry at one one of them because he said he saw "casper". the result was the male was blinded by a energy orb for hours and staar took her body with them despite her protests.

Stigma: her coma was caused by a stigmata that was already in her when she was stil in the womb, as long as she is kept alive by machienes she can leave her body for hours if not days.

Personality: Keiko has always been a sweet girl. Sometimes annoyingly optimistic, she finds it easy to overlook the worst in people. She has almost no temper, but rather a quick laugh. She can enjoy a good joke, but will hardly ever approve of one made at another's expense. She never questions orders, but hates following them when it means losing a life.
Strengths: She's a medically trained doctor, with herbal, surgical and first aid skills. She is also an exceptionally good defense fighter, being able to think on her feet to route enemy attacks on a base or even a specific live target.
Weaknesses: Unfortunately, Keiko suffered some damage to her eyes and has lost some of her long distance sight. Though perfectly good when up close and personal, she's not a very good aim with any guns.
History: Keiko grew up next door to Ryo, and was his babysitter while he was young. Though it's not known to anyone else, the boy had something to do with her surviving through the incident, after the infected went on a rampage through the streets. Keiko was 17 at the time, and was recruited into STARR before the incident was even really cleaned up. She never had a chance to say goodbye to Ryo before he went into foster care. Once within STARR, her damaged eyesight did not go unnoticed nor did her overwhelming grasp of human anatomy. She quickly went into specialized training in defense and medical. When Ryo joined the organization, she was delighted and was one of the first to join his team after his promotion to Captain.
Stigma: Keiko has the ability to manipulate the speed at which tissues and cells regenerate within the body. She uses this to heal, in a sense. She still has to remove any foreign objects, and sew up skin and set bones. Also, does not prevent scars.
Weapons: A combat dagger, as well as a steel whip.
Arcs: Keiko pilots a standard Arcs called Flesh, specialized for defense and more specifically close quarter combat. Carrying an energy whip, the Arcs has the ability to absorb the brunt of most attacks, which is named Scar.
Sample:
Keiko gnawed on the inside of her cheek, squinting her eyes to see better into the cavity of the body she'd just opened. The glass that had been shattered into this agent was buried too deeply to pull out without opening up further in case she'd missed any. "Please, run a scan again," she practically whispered to the computer. The computer whirred into effect, a grid of white lines passing over the unconcious agent.

"No foreign objects detected," it responded mechanically.

"Oh, thank god," Ko exhaled. Quickly and with practiced hands, she stitched up every gaping wound. After tying off the last of the strings, she quickly helped the flesh on it's way to mending. Then, ripping off her face mask, she stumbled into her nurse's arms. She'd been multiplying blood cells through half the surgery, since the man had been admitted in an emergency and they'd run out of his blood type.

She could sleep for a week, it felt like.

Personality: treats life like a game, and this also includes other people's lives. She comes out as a bubbly , hyper childlike character to those who don't know her, which often causes people to underestimate her. Dislikes being ordered around and tends to give people weird nicknames.

Strengths: She is determined in everything she does, refusing to take a loss, and luck seems to be on her side quite often, it is quite a 'must' since she is a naturally clutzy character.

Weaknesses: She is unable to take an order from anyone,flaring up instantly if told to do something against her will. In the battle field Claw has next to no or little physical power. Her strenght relies on her speed and stigma.

History:

I can remeber it like it was yesterday... the massacre.. the mutations... the end of our little haven home in Pleroma...

Mishari was only ten years old when the outbreak incident passed over Pleroma. killing instants mutating others. Giving some power, destroying the mind of others... The little girl couldn't understand what had suddenly happened to her quiet peacefull life as she watcher her mother rip her own husband.. her father apart with her bare hands. She could only watch as the mutated creatures of her once friends destroyed each other.

As she sat there in a corner of their run down house after the outbreak died downshe wondered, 'Why me? Why am i the only sane one left?' She was confused, other survivors of the incident had gained inhuman powers, some vowing revenge, others joining up with STAAR and others just working to rebuild what was left of their home. She had nothing.. nothing at all. She was no use for STAAR, she wasn't strong enough to fight, she was just a child, all alone in this world.

She had given up on living, and set out for a long, long walk, planing to walk till she dropped down and died in exhaustion. There was nothing left for her now, who'd care anyway? The last thing she remebered before she passed out where the large wings of a demon like being swooping down to her bearing a shining..light? in it's arms. Probably to end her life; but.. she really didn't care.

Years later...

Those are the only flashes of her past she remebers, now 19 years later. At somepoint she'd suffered a huge memory loss blocking out everything that happened from 10 years till 18. The only thing she knows is that she now possesses the power of the Stigma. Something she was sure she didn't have 18 years ago. Her one purpose in life is recovering the gap in her memory.
She only has one clue, a shaded version of a man weilding the grim reaper's weapon. But for the moment, life was a game, play and win.

Stigma: Mishari's Stigma was a late starter, not taking immediate effect after the Outbreak Incident. Mishari's stigma causes chosen parts of her body to harden and mutate to a certain degree. (For example a pointed elbow, for that extra ouchie) She finds this usefull to absorb impacts on her being but once hardened a limb is almost impossible to move. She has not had any training in the use of her power and more often then not relies on luck to do the right thing.

(Just think of a medapod. -SHOT-)

Weapons:Lazer Claws, an old weapon. Deamed almost an antique by most weapon masters. In fact, compared to the way technology had advanced, this is merely a trinket, but as Mishari says, it gets the job done.

Sample: It was dark outside. The shillouettes of the fallen buildings around her almost looked like a forest. Yes, a forest of metal and stone. Mishari just sat there, on top of what was once the statue of some great leader.Except.. that like his real flesh and blood counterpart, his head was mercilessly ripped from his shoulders in the last war. A small smile played upon her features as she trailed her fingers on the rusted metal.

The black haired female didn't move as the flapping of wings sounded behind her and cold clawed hands ran down the bare flesh of her arms. She didn't bother moving as the corrupted being flicked it's tongue over her shoulder, it's breath a disgusting scent of death. Finding that it was unable to absorb her lifeforce the being let out a disgusted screech before dissappearing back into the night. Mishari closed her eyes and leaned backwards onto the severed hunk of metal staring at the starless sky. Her thoughts where void, but her sensess where alert.

suddenly a cry pierced the air and Claw shot up, her claws activated and ready. She giggled lightly to herself.

He is highly intelligent in when it comes to body functions and nano tech and he is very loyal to Xaviel. He is cold towards his enemies and anyone else who would cross him and LOGOS. He is seen as quite crazy and cares little for losses.

Strengths:
He uses a lot of Bio-tech to enhance his body and mind though nano machines and replacement parts.

Weaknesses:
Insanely loyal to Xaviel to the point he will kill himself if instructed. Prone to dangerous fits of insanity. When using Arc can feel the damage and pain inflicted upon it.

History:
Xen was rumoured to have grown up as a child raised in the great Weapons factories of LOGOS. He showed quick learning and smart instinct. He grew up idoling Xaviel. After losing his only known family, his sister, to a biological attack on their home he tried to find a way of using nano tech and bio tech to enhance people over kill.
After this insident he began training to become a designer for LOGOS. Soon he rose up ranks and developed Bio-tech. This interested Xaviel and he encouraged it. Soon he became one of Xaveil's four associates and after many tests on himself is beggining to test his Bio-tech on other people. He has created many things to enchance humans to what he sometimes calls, 'The Next Level'. Many peopl that see him now refuse to believe he is human. He doesn't care and doesn't show himself much to people outside of LOGOS anyways. Due to his work its believed he was one that created the virus that caused the The Outbreak Incident.

Bio-tech (used as a replacement to Stigma section):

• Brain networking: Allows his brain to work twice as fast and recover quicker. One of his first creations is has caused him to lose the need for sleep but makes him prone to fits of insanity.
• Sense and nerve enhancement: Increases his reaction and attention to detail. the indervidual effects all of his senses are all just enhanced versions of their normal functions but now it means he feels more pain when hurt.

Weapons:
Custom rifle called NANO. Single shot, high powered, low recoil rifle. Can be prone to over heating if used to much. Can be connected to his sensor netork to increase power and accuracy. Created by Kaede for him. Its quite heavy and so has to carry it strapped to his back.

Arcs:
Has a custom Arc built by Kaede to interface with his own body enchancements. Its name is Puppet. It is sleek and fast with two arm mounted rifles that are the same as the one he carries on foot but don't overheat due to the Arcs cooling system. Comes equiped with blades on the other arm for close quarters. He is so connected to it that he feels its pain when its damaged, becuase of this a lot of its power feed goes to its shielding system. These drains mean that when he fires his weapons the shield become weaker. He makes up for some of this becuase of his interface.

Sample:
The night was coming in quick and all of his workers began to leave for rest. Xen sat with his full attention on the small bugs floating in the mixture. As the last of his employees left he let out a deep sigh.
"Finally silence." he whispered to himself. He was carefully collecting the nano tech into an injector when a knock came at the door. He dropped the injector and it shattered on the ground. Marching to the door he threw it open in rage. Standing there was one of his employeers carrying lunch for him.
"You! You made me drop the injector." he shouted.
"Im sorry s...s...sir but I thought you may want something." The employee stuttered. Xen grabbed him by the arm.
"Their is something. A new test subject." He grinned, "Thank you for Volunteering."

Appearance:
He is a tall person with short red hair. On the back of his head are a few wires and mechincal parts. He is always wearing his white lab coat that is stained with verious things from blood to oil. It contains many inside pockets carrying verious stuff. He has fingerless gloves on his hands as well as walking boots on his feet. His eyes are both green with hints on blue around the pupils.

Title: Reconnaissance/Information Recovery Scout/Analyst

Heritage: Nova Angleterre Colony

Personality: Highly altruistic and noble with a selfless attitude. Galahad is a bit comedic in speaking with people, but can also be serious when something highly interests him. Highly eccentric, he is not the least bit shy and is a very social person.

Strengths: Though he is not the most gifted scientist in LOGOS, his intelligence comes into play mostly during his recon/retrieval missions and analyzation of new materials. In truth, he's much better at translating ancient languages and analyzing strange materials than anything else, along with having a knack for getting out of the many undesirable situations his retrieval missions put him in. He has escaped death several times due to his ability to think on his feet and trick enemies. In his Arcs, the Vermilion Cross, his speed is his best attribute.

Weaknesses: Very weak physically and possesses little combat skill on his own. He is also not as gifted as the other LOGOS scientists in terms of scientific knowledge. His Arcs has very light weapons and practically no offensive value.

History: Galahad was one of only two individuals in his colony of Nova Angleterre to develop stigma. His stigma greatly enhances his sense of smell, and also his smell recognition (he can remember scents of individuals with extreme accuracy from fairly far away). Possessing an amazing intellect, he was sent by his colony to the best schools in several different colonies until he ventured to earth (with the permission of the ISSU) to decode some messages and analyze some materials found in the ancient city of Moscow. Upon his accurate analysis of his findings in Old Moscow, he was asked by Xaviel Illuminati to join LOGOS.

Xaviel did his reasearch before speaking with Galahad, however, and knew that he would refuse to do anything selfish or underhanded. Galahad's personality is in direct contrast with Xaviel's, but Xaviel presented the opportunity to join LOGOS as a chance to save humanity from the oppressive Corrupted and to even restore what Galahad's colony refers to as "Old Earth," or the dilapidated planet earth. Galahad accepted, and ever since he has been filtered information from Xaviel to make it appear as if LOGOS is an upright organization. Xaviel puts up with Galahad's preoccupations with rescuing stranded travelers in deep space at the expense of his research due to the fact that Galahad is such an outstanding anaylst. Xaviel currently employs Galahad in reconnaissance and analytical work, practically making Galahad perform all the fieldwork for LOGOS. Xaviel provided a custom-made Arcs for Galahad, the Vermilion Cross, in order for Galahad to perform his duties at the optimum level. Yet, Galahad has also found that his Arcs (due to its amazing speed) is also perfect for search and rescue operations.

Stigma: Enhanced sense of smell and smell recognition (as explained above).

Weapons: Only one missile turret and an X-draft laser on the left "shoulder" of the Vermilion Cross.

Arcs: The Vermilion Cross is completely white save one scarlet Vermilion cross on its left "shoulder." Only equipped with two weapons and very light-weight armor, there was room and mobility enough to place extra engines on the Arcs to gain more speed potential. Galahad possesses little fighting power, sacrificing offensive weapons and heavy armor for speed. He lives more by the "you can't hit what you can't see" principle than anything else in combat. Thus, his Arcs is ideal for reconnaissance/recover/rescue, but next to useless in combat. Even so, his speed has saved him many times before in seemingly hopeless situations.

Appearance: About 5'9" with somewhat long, blond hair held in a ponytail in the back and divided in the middle into two sets of bangs in the front. Wears a blue turtleneck sweater under a brown trench coat filled with utilitarian devices, along with a silver belt used for the same. His watch is also a communication transmitter that allows him to communicate with the other members of LOGOS. Wears black pants over black boots and dark blue gloves when not in his laboratory.

Sample: A large image of a piece of metal was projected on the wall in front of Galahad. He was examining his latest find on Old Earth, looking carefully over the image projected by his microscope. His laboratory, filled with the latest technology, looked more like a disheveled library than a lab. Open books and papers littered the floor as an ancient manuscript of the Bible resided in protective glass on the wall. "I wonder if this is a fragment of the fixture that held the "Greek fire" mentioned in the Arthurian legend?" Galahad said to himself. He quickly rolled over in his chair to another table covered with a score of old books. He always preferred ink and paper to his electric devices, though he did appreciate the excellent technology in his lab.

Suddenly, a live feed showed up on one of his many monitors, displaying a stranded transport ship near the Chartres Colony. "Guess I won't be getting much sleep tonight..." Galahad muttered as he threw on his light, brown trench coat and quickly ran towards the terminal that led to the Vermilion Cross, his Arcs. "As long as I finish my report before tomorrow, I'll be fine." he thought as he neared the terminal.

Name: Bleu Elvos

Other Names: Locke
Sex: Male

Age: 26

Alliance: STAAR

Title: Main Engineer of Team 17

Heritage: N/A ( Will say in the RP.)

Personality: Bleu has always been an independent kind of guy, since birth. He loves making jokes and acting goofy, but when it comes to work, he usually takes it very seriously. Bleu has always been great with girls, thus his great Charisma. He doesn’t get offended very often because he doesn’t have any enemies and mostly everyone likes him.
Strengths: Locke is a Rank A Engineer and has always been into repairing and creating new things.
His main skills are in this order: Intelligence, Dexterity and much of luck. His main creations are of small things such as Guns, Androids and helpers. But he is also a renown Mecha Builder.

Weaknesses: He is a good liar, which sometimes put him into a bad position. He has a heart condition in which he has to drink 2 pills a day. ( If he doesn’t he simply dies.) Locke doesn’t like when people joke on him or his family.

History: When Bleu Elvos aka Locke was born, he had many difficulties. First, His mother died in labor. Leaving him with his father, which at the time was Leader of Team 6. Locke’s father ended up dead. It’s presumed he died on the War. But Locke still has some thoughts about what might happened. Later after his dead, Locke entered the Engineering team when he was only 11. On one of their many trainings, while operating on a Mecha, he malfunctioned and caused him to cut his arm. Now his arm is an Android one, and he keeps on remodelating it. He worked for the Army for 10 years until he was 21 and this last 5 years he has been working in his reports and studies of Modern Engineering. He now stands as the best Engineer in his Team… Team 17.

Stigma: He has the ability to grow super enhanced agility and strength for a short period of time. He will have High Adrenaline and will be able to talk with Machines and other beings. ( Will reveal a tad more later.)

Weapons: Locke uses a Plasma Rifle, and many other Light / Plasma / Laser / Energy weapons. He doesn’t uses any guns with bullets nor steel swords. This is cause due to the fact that he is an Engineer and likes to create his own weapons made out of modern attachments and objects. He also likes to use this for his own Arc, Shadow.



Arcs:
M1-18.
Codename: Shadow
Shadow was created by Locke’s father when he was only 10. Even though the machine still has old mechanism, Locke continues to modificate it over time and keeps on upgrading it.
Shadow is confirmed to have been created for the security of Locke, so said his father in his last letter. Shadow is a very swift and stealthy ARC.

He woke up. Exhausted… Couldn’t breath… Everything was dark. His eyes were as hollow as pit falls. Locke had fainted in his own room while trying to repair his right arm, mechanism. It had exploded and his room was filled with black smoke. He gasped for air but couldn’t get up. He was too weak… He moved out of the floor, dragging his rags with him. Alas, he pressed the button on his remote. The curtains quickly rose up, and the black smoke was finally out. Locke got to his feet and looked at his right limb. Everything… Broken. It was an epic disappointment he experienced that night. 10 Minutes later, the officials came by… knocking on his door and wondering where that smoke came from.

...However upon discussion with my co-GM Luzifer, we've found some things that we'd like to go over.

As of right now, there is a freeze on all character approvals.

Don't get me wrong, you all have fantastic characters, truly. It's just that, though, they're a bit too fantastic. This is definately my fault, as I wasn't specific enough in my first post.. I apoligize =[

Now the Histories and Stigmas are all well and good. Personalities though.. seem a bit repetitive? We found a large number of the characters are "highly intelligent" and "antisocial". This is unfortunately a bit of a problem because an RPG works far better with a variety of personalities.. we can't have all these super smart loners running around, they'd all be vying for who knows most and no one would ever work together or get along. It just won't work out that well. So if any of you are willing to edit, we'd appreciate that.

Some of the characters also seem too powerful.. Don't forget this is the beginning of the RPG. There's going to be plenty of time for character development. Starting off as a major pwner isn't going to be any fun for you, or for me when you squash all the baddies i throw at you! So if you feel you might have gone overboard, and decide to cut some things, that would also be appreciated.

Another thing, the Arcs. Customized Arcs aren't cheap, not in the slightest, and they're not common. Think of a haute couture dress, made specifically for you by a fashion designer and no one else has the same one. That wouldn't be cheap, and it wouldn't be common.

Now, it makes sense that the LOGOS members would have customized Arcs. They're at the top of a major weapons producing company. But, even having a customized Arcs doesn't make it "invincible", and doesn't give it the ability to defy logic.. A customized Arcs just means its different from anyone elses. So if your Arcs is equipped with powerful, heavy duty, resilient armor, it can't be as fast as a bolt of lightning times ten. So please bear that in mind, and edit accordingly if you feel you may have crossed this line.

More often there are custom parts on an Arcs. This is the case for most STARR or Renegade members, and Independants. (unless you're really really wealthy o_O) So we've decided that allowing custom parts (weapons or energy shields/fields, advanced cpus, etc..) is still acceptable. However a limit to only one or two things per Arcs. I hope that is okay for everyone.. if not let me know.



So far though I would approve all of your characters, were it not for these small details. And no, not all of you fall under any of the things I've brought up in this post. I just didn't want to single anyone out, and I wanted to give everyone a chance to edit their characters freely, without me telling you how you should edit your character to better fit my needs. I truly wish for everyone to be as creative as possible, however it's the RPG's needs that need to be met. ^_^;

This RPG is rather important to me, and Luzifer, and we just want everyone to be able to enjoy themselves is all, by minimizing problems at the beginning. Personality: Unless talking about weapon and vehicle design and schematics, he remains silent. He is trying to break out of his shell though. When speaking through thoughts, he is somewhat funny since people can overhear him.

Strengths: Arms and Vehicles are his specialty. From sharing ideas to offering new upgrades he can do it well. Puts love into every armament of destruction he makes. Has 14 other men and women to care for.

Weaknesses: Always puts his life at risk by testing out his "toys". The vehicles, especially are taken for a joyride by him to test how much punishment they can deliver and take.

Stigma: Mirage - With the heart of the desert in his veins, Lamont can create a mirage of certain things, people included.

The Birth of a Desert Crawler (Bio): Since he was raised in the desert, his life was all about survival. With his people enduring wicked sandstorms and being in "no-man's land" during war, he and what remaining people have had to scout with the last of their vehicles throughout the desert wastes with limited ammunition and food. Their only shelter was an armored personnel carrier they found during the ceasefire. It held the rotting remains of several soldiers with assault rifles. It was stuck in the sand due to a storm but still had some fuel left. Using the knowledge they held together, these people made their own fuel for their own vehicles. These vehicles run strictly on "swill", a mixture of seawater and very dry sand. They have never heard of Arcs and would never approve of using them as they have never created them. They all look for scrap metal and other junk in the desert as scavengers. They have never heard of LOGOS and frankly do not care as they rely on their own selves to find food, scrap and other materials. Lamont's knowledge of the desert is endless. Lamont and his people don't directly work for STARR but they do create new weapon systems, and vehicles for STARR and themselves. They are pretty much a repair and outfitting station within STARR's network.

Weapons: Multipurpose All-in-one welding torch, dismantling laser and standardized tool set.

Other weapon: Rebuildable support droids designed for flanking, distraction and fixing. Prototype assault attachments coming soon.

Does not approve of using Arcs

Appearance: Sand-hued skin, black, windswept hair, Brown eyes. Average build but not too strong. Prefers soft, woven clothes over modern-day clothing. Animal-made items are at a low and so synthetic cloth is mainstream.

I'm not accepting anyone else into LOGOS, so if you would like your character to be a previous member of LOGOS, they may. However, not one of the four highest ranking members, as all of those positions are now filled. ^^

Personality: Kaede has been referred to as a 'nerd' on more than one occasion. She could rant on for hours on end about weaponry and Archs
Strengths: She is extremely handy with tools, and knows the specs of just about any weapon she sees.
Weaknesses: Shes easily insulted and tends to hold grudges. She cant learn to let things go.
History: Not much is known about Kaede's past. All that is known is that Xaviel stumbled her talent and keen eye in weapon and Arc design. She soon became one of his close associates and took responsibility in designing custom Arcs for Xaviel and the other 3 associates.
Stigma: Control of metal. The few who know of this ability believe that she uses this to help her in her design work.
Weapons: Unknown
Arcs: The Omega. She named it after the nickname given to her, since she feels it is an extension of herself. Its thin, sleek and fast. Attached to the hip is a small strip of metal, which she uses her Stigma her shape into various weapons. Her favorite being a scythe.
Sample: Kaede looked over her new design plans and sighed to herself. They were fast, but heavy. She knew that they could be much faster and worth far more money if she could find a way to shed weight on the new X-series. Inferior metal would make the pilot vulnerable, which may lead to a sales drop. Her only option was to remove a few upgrades, but which ones?
Appearance: Long dark hair, blue eyes, thin framed and fair skinned. She has a birthmark on her right ankle that resembles the omega symbol, thus giving birth to her nickname.

That's why I had tried something different to begin with, but yeah. xD
I had the idea of the Power of 'Star Eyes' for a long time, and this RP proved useful for it. But when I made my character I feared he would be too much like yours, hence the way I made him initially.

Then again, he excels at the duel sabers and Ryo likes his pistols better. I suppose we have a good enough outstanding difference there. >.>

But yes, we shall see what will happen. I just hope it goes smoothly. ^^;

The only thing about all of that is that it takes too much away from the main storyline... The story itself is already complicated enough, and somewhat long. I don't wish to overcomplicate or drag out things, because with my experience RPGs don't work out too well that way.

Of course a chance arrival at your characters hometown can be arranged. As can the repairing and modification part for their Arcs. However as for STARR or LOGOS pulling the commune into the middle of things, that's where we overcomplicate it. Perhaps if a group gets thrown your way, your character could join with them in order to learn more about the outside world? I don't know.

I'd like for this RPG to be as fluid and focused as possible, I hope you understand. I certainly don't have any problems incorporating unique characters like yours into my story, really. It's just when we create a whole other story is where I draw the line.
