Im happy to see that Florida is finaly voting democrat since u know it was one of the last states to kick out slavery (sorry 4 bringing that point in american history up).
I think that for a few things that might fail he will do good with Biden for backup. thats all i have to say about our PRESIDENT ELECT obama.

I'm glad he won. I think it shows how America has grown over the years, from how they can now accpet an African American man as President. Lets see if he does live up to his promises, that's the true test of any elected official. If he doesn't it will hurt the democratic party something awful. a lot of people voted him in on the ideals he'll DO something.

The problem with his campaign is that the public will be very unforgiving if they feel they've been deceived in the "vote for change" deal.

Don't cripple the military and stick to the domestic plan. That should ensure him another 4.

Luna, there is no need to go around bad-repping people for who they vote for; the point of voting is to make a choice, not for everyone to vote for the same person. I saw your rep comment in "UrusaiSevera's" profile saying "it (obama) was the wrong choice". (In addition to mine, and probably every other obama-voter in AF.) Plus, it helps to know what country they are actually in first before repping them.

Well "wrong choice" for you, not for others. If there was only one candidate to choose, obviously there would be no need for an election.

fyi - I voted for obama because I like his tax cut plan, equal pay for women in the workforce, health care plan and oh - the fact he's actually intelligent, that helps too.

Plus, him being young enough and not likely to die in the middle of a term is good too (mccain is too old to walk for president, let alone run, in my opinion - which I am more than entitled to have).

Of course, obama needs maximum protection like any other president would, against all the crazies or hateful individuals who might be a little miffed that a black president is in the white house.

Bad repping people for their choices is not "expressing your views." That's what the forum is for. Leaving bad repuation for everyone who didn't vote for mccain is not "expressing your views".

Try expressing them here instead; your rep is "hurting" because expressing your views in that way is well, basically asking for it.

This is true. No one is gonna get to him unless it's an inside job. And even tough I'm against him, I prefer him over Lieberman. I wish McCain would have won and I'm kinda venting over it. I still believe that it's that easy. Despite being president he is still human and can be killed by bullets from a rooftop or poisoned. To be fair Kennedy was dumb enough to do a pageant wave out of a car w/ no guards around him.
