First sig is good probably would of brought the text more to the right and down some.

Avie is cute and love the style and colors

Second sig love it ... maybe lower the opacity some on the light behind her then again nice sig the way it is.

I quite like this. Lighting is good, style is interesting - colors are muted but it works for this sig. Might've gone with an orange for the P, but it works pretty well as far as I'm concerned. Overall, much love for this.

I've always wanted to make a graphic out of that scan. Good job again!

Hmm... I like your use of text, although I'm not hugely fond of this one. It's good, it's just not..great. Hair and.. pen tool, do I see? Work out nicely, but I don't really see how 'burn' goes with any of it, unless I abstract quite far. That's not really a measure of your graphic prowess, though, so nevermind it. One thing I am noticing is your lack of borders. It kind of makes them.. incomplete, to me, but I can see why you'd have problems with the solid color strokes. Perhaps you could try a 1px black inside stroke set on overlay?

I don't really like the colors on this, and if I hadn't seen the top image first, the crop would confuse me thoroughly.

It's cute, but the reds seem kind of out of place on it.

On an icon, you have to remember to cut down everything. Probably would've reduced the overlay text on the first to just two lines (vs. three) and maybe gone with lower case on 'heart' entirely.. but that's somewhat style point of view. Second one is a little confusing, but in a good way, so no real critique.

You finally do a damn border :P Which... doesn't really match :/ The eyedropper tool is a pretty safe bet to always use if it's not a solid black you're going for, and it's a little heavy, honestly. Love your text styling, although F - orest is a little far apart..

The space on the left kind of bothers me, maybe try smudging to blend it?Or pasting part of the original image moved over so it blends under the layer (if that makes sense).

The yellowish-redish towards the text works really nice, less a fan of the lavenderish cast by the lighting effects.

I really do enjoy your work. ^__^` You've got some unique ideas, I can appreciate that.

WHOA!! That's some response. Must say that I was not expecting this.

Atziluth: THANK YOU!! I was getting bored with no critique. Whatever you said is sure to get me working.
And, yeah, "burn" just doesn't make any sense there, but that was the first thing that the sig reminded me of. Me and my ideas. I don't have photoshop so no pentooling. Just plain stocks, so I have to make do with them.

Miss-a: Glad you liked the ava. But the spiral thing is...I think it's from Mira's tutorial...or was it .Lovebeat? Maybe Ichigokiss...

ah well. So my shades are all brown now are they? I thought it was always red-yellow. Then again, that does make up a sort of brown.
Y'know, one of my desires is to actually surpass you. I don't think I ever will though. It's just too hard. But i'm not going to stop trying.

On your recent.


Why dont more people do stuff like you? Its very good. It seems to have a very nice atmosphere giving it depth even if that was not your intention. Even the backwards K seems to give it more of a depth like feel to it.

My only call on this is that there are two things that should be improved. The first is the left side of the signature that has just an enlarged portion of the stock on it. If you filled it with stuff more to the effect of what you have one the right, it would really help balance it out.

The second is that it is relatively colorless in its overall composition. The pink bright are is great, but it really needs more because it sort of feels too gray in color. If you went with some light blues, or even just a few more pink spatters, then I am sure you could bump up the quality of this.

You are doing very well, and have improved drastically in a short period of time. You should take more of this stuff and enter it into a SOTW or something.

the lighting around the middle is especially interesting.

But I'm not really liking the left side, you could clearly see there's another character in there, so usually 2 people = 2 focus points. I say replace it with something not supposed to catch attention.

Serated: You don't drop by much, do you? Well I'm glad you did. Really appreciate that. And you're right. I wasn't entirely aiming at depth. It just ended up that way.

Nariel: Glad you liked it ^^ I have another one like that in my old thread. It came out nicer than this one, though.

Binky: It definately stands out from the rest of my creations. But I doubt I can do a tutorial. You'll have to wait fro me to get a little better as there is a major flaw in this sig.

I knew that putting in the face of the stock would be a mistake but nothing else fit. And it's too late to do anything about it now. [Imageready, remember?] I have to keep stamping the image. So if something goes wrong, I have to leave it at that or start over.
