Have you've looked everywhere for a part time job? Just make sure it doesn't cause any conflict to your school work. If you were like here, I think there's a few companies looking for a good graphic artist. Or even work at a computer company as a one of those people who like work at the entrance of the building, behind one of them big desks. You speak English very well to actually get the job too. I would ask my profs for reccomendation for those. (they work for those companies. Most of them are trainers,recuiters, and what not)

Well, I applied to a few stores that are hiring, and I can work at the specific time they are hiring, but I didn't get any calls to set interviews. I don't think I'm up for office jobs yet, because a high school diploma doesn't mean much, even some brand stores rejects high school graduates. All I'm doing now is sitting and waiting for luck...-sigh-

I have my university diploma, several certificates, and good profesional experience but nobody seems to care here! =( I fact I worked for a pretty big important software company it was ranked lie 12 place worlwide.......and still....nobody wants to give me a working visa = :: (.... I just want to be here as long as I can, I'm in Canada by the way, but I'm from Mexico...but I'm getting out of money very fast!!

The job I have now is only temp staffing cause I'm trying to get some experience under my belt. The downside is the gaps inbetween work. I haven't worked in 2 weeks, but its looking like I'll have some work by the weekend....which means i can't drink at my friends halloween party on friday.

Well, Im not sure about Canada. If you're in US as an international student, you can't work at all, and the tuition is much much much more expensive. Maybe a US citizen pays 1000 bucks for one quarter, the international students must pay a few thousands, like 4000-5000 for 3 month-quarter.

Of course I'm not an international student or else I'm dead already. But hey, I'm with you, my money just runs out of my wallet like a waterfall.

My parents give me seven pounds a week for pocket money. That's around fourteen US dollars a week.
So, I definitely have enough money. I don't blow it on useless stuff though. I only buy stuff I've wanted for a while.

I come from a middle class household. Both my parents are academics (though my father has a blue collar job).

Myself I'm a dirt poor student. I live off nothing but instant noodles some weeks.

What does tuition means? Are you talking about the rent for the appartment? Because mine is 1500, just the rent of the place, but I have 2 roomates...

And about the working permits is the same as the US we are not suppose to work at all....

I'm glad to have somebody in my situation to share experiences and stuff....but....WHAT DO WE DO!!!? I hate living like this...I'm getting healthier and healthier...that can't be good!!! hahaha I can't even buy a pack of cigs because they cost like 10 dollars, That like food for 2 days hahah

I rely on monthly student allowance, it's enough for food and some train tickets to visit my parents once a month. I don't have time for a part-time job.

Eh, and I don't know about my parents. They're not rich is something I'm certain of at least...

Tuition is paying for the quarter, the money pay for a quarter is the tuition.
