Silkroad Online (Korean: 실크로드 온라인) is a fantasy MMORPG set in the 7th century AD, along the Silk Road between China and Europe. The game requires no periodic subscription fee, but players can purchase premium items to customize or accelerate gameplay.

Silkroad sucks. You can never log in, and even when you do, there's no one to play with because they're all A.F.K. waiting for their stall to make money next to the dozen other identical stalls. In fact, the reason you can't log in is because all the server slots are filled with people who just set up a stall and leave it.

Oh well theres more than just afkin' and stalling. You can do much many another things too.
Like killing Unique monsters, Getting Level, Trade, Thief, Hunting, Pvp, Job wars, Guild wars... Much things you ever know.
Maybe you dont get in first try or second Maybe then. Of course you can buy premium with real money. Or just trying to log on without it. Like me.
Silkroad Might sucks because you say so. Many people like it. I like more Silkroad than WoW ^^
But all like what they like. You dont have to like Silkroad.
Of course there is much people who use bot to get higher level. or gold botting more gold to their selfs. But most those gold bots are for gold companys. who sell gold for every game. For WoW, Dofus, Warhammer, Perfect World... ^^

I played it when Oasis first opened, got into one of the best guilds of the time with best union. We put our money together and got the best gear. This was back at the lvl 80 cap. Once we were all lvl 80 and had the best gear and weapons. There was nothing to do at all other than grind for more Seal of Sun to make money or grind more SP. Most of us were set and had enough SP for the next lvl Cap. So all we did was do thief runs or hunter. There was nothing for us to do at all, got boring. So we ended up starting fights with other guilds we hated. Like attack their lower level guildmates and wait for thier strong ones to come so we could jump them. Or for fun since we where at lvl 80 99.99% and crazy amounts of SP, we go on kill Sprees PK'ing guilds and run around trying not to die.


In other words, We had fun but we got bored and quit. Waiting for lvl 90 cap seemed like forever so everyone like sold their accounts or gave them to long time friends.

You can log in anytime guaranteed - with a premium ticket (item mall).

I stopped playing when the level cap was 70, played a little after and got to 73 but still didn't catch my interest and started in beta testing. Started also when there was only 2 Servers Aege and Xian, but now there are almost 20 odd. Check out some videos me and my guild made

LOL Silkroad addiction, you know that was made my a couple of people from Xian who used to be in alliance with my guild. Nightbloom, Asyamura and Fly.

Mewie: I have no real reason to play Silkroad, since there's no real good single-player support and there's never anybody to play with. The only people who play Silkroad already have their great big world-shattering level-capped heroes. New players are just all out of luck.

I'm pretty much with Op here. I tried playing it a year or so ago, and it didn't grab me at all. I re-downloaded it again this passed summer, and I got the same result.

In addition to what Op said, it's an endless grind-fest. Grind, grind, grind, grind, grind, grind, grind, grind, get bored, turn it off.

Maybe sro is full botters theres many non botters to. Ah i know Nb, Fly n Asyamura too. 90Cap is out. Chi-in tomb comes out when 100Cap starts.
Im missin 4 Lvls from 90 ^.^ Sro isnt just grind grind grind...
You can do other things like i said.. Also you can play at Fortress war n CTF. ^^ Its fun also PvP is fun to. Killin noobs. n huntin uniques. Stallin.. Whatever you get in ur mind. Or just hang with your friends. talkin nice stuff.

Well there is a lot of grinding. I remember at 80 cap killing a lvl 80 monster 3 times gave me 1 SP. That was at like a 3 lvl gap. If I went bigger I would of got more but would lack in fighting in PVP. I grinded by far more than doing PVP.... I wanted every single skill I could have and then have enough SP for the 90 cap. Untill I got that much SP I just grinded every day with the same guys in my guild.

Well when something did happen we would go help out. Cant be the best if you don't have the money and don't have the skills. lol

I tried making an EU warlock, got that to 65 within 2 weeks of EU update with skills maxed to 60 using a bot taxi, but wasn't interested enough, also started farming SP on a server where Missy and some others who used to post in this forum were, got 75k sp before giving up. But in the end I just can't be bothered with it anymore. It's too boring, given the game looks good and plays good.

It wasnt that hard to get in, took only like 5 trys. Well I mostly had a ticket so it was the first try, lol. The Pking was a lot but not as bad, oo trust me on this one, lol

Play the game 2moons. It has an open pk system that does not punish you other than you cant use the npc to buy pots and your name turns red so you cant fast travel. When you die you dont loose Xp or sp or drop anything. So basicly that game was all day pking 24/7. lol Only the strongest guilds would level up.

Silkroad is awful, way too many goldbots and AFKs, no new players or anything like that. I remember back in the day when it was new, it was fun and great, but then it got really popular and now it sucks.
