"I mean hahahahahaha that's right walk a way from a fight you sexy man devil you , wait that sounds like a compliment" she waved her hands about again , creating the same tree creaking sound. "let's leave it at , hahahahaha I AM GOD" the tree creaked and snapped making a tree cracking over and breaking it's fall by hitting the earth sound. "damn my gravity control is bad today" she flipped off through the air , to somewhere.

(OOC: This was fun to write. I have no idea why. It may seem boring to you guys, but I rather enjoyed it. Heehee).

(OOC: I was actually going to write more, so be grateful... I lost my train of thought by the time I changed the text color and what not). *Grins*

Kiyoshi took note in everything about Kairos as her eyes had met hers and she had smiled. This was a part of whom she was. Kiyoshi could not help but observe everything around her.

As she did this though, she noticed the slight, but few, facial changes in Kairos’s expressions. She wondered hat he had been thinking, and her mind instantly jumped to that of the negative.

‘Oh no!! Kyon, maybe it isn’t a good idea for us to leave after all!’ Kiyoshi yelled her thoughts to him as soon as she processed everything.

‘I know, I know Kiyoshi. I would love to stay as well, but you know how your parents get.’

Kiyoshi frowned at Kyon’s response but nodded at it anyway. What else could she do really? Kyon was right, and she had not spent any true time with her family as of late, let alone explained anything at all to them. Besides, she still had that studying to do…

‘The exams are in a few days…’

Kairos’s facial expression the changed more so then it had before, as if he were not thinking so much now, but Kiyoshi had been fooled by that before. All thoughts on that were swayed as Kairos smiled at her, causing Kiyoshi to smile up at him again in return.

“I’ll see you out then.” Kairos had then taken it upon himself, to escort Kiyoshi to the door, where at he waved goodbye.

Before walking away, Kiyoshi frowned a bit when she saw him waving. She had no idea when she would see him next, and he was by far, one of the most kind, and generous, not to mention hospitable individual that she had ever met. This saddened her, but she really needed to go home.

“Kairos, wait!” Before he had slipped back inside, Kiyoshi had run up to him, and wrapped her arms around him in a gentle hug.

“Thank you, for everything...” She whispered before pulling away.

Kiyoshi looked up at him for a good moment or two before turning from him and running out of the door. She turned then and waved, a smile still spread across her face.

“I will see you soon Kairos! Ja ne until then!” Then she stopped waving and bowed slightly before running of in the direction of her home after recognizing a few of the street signs.

Well, the ones that she could see in the dark.

Upon arrival at her home, Kiyoshi was all too grateful that everyone was already asleep. She locked up the Shrine, and then proceeded to sit in the hot springs for a long while, and then take a shower, changing into the pajamas that she had picked out for herself beforehand.

Kiyoshi then walked across the hall, and then into her own room, in which she closed and locked the door as well. That way, she was assured a morning of sleep, without being interrupted by anyone in/at the Shrine.

She flopped down on her futon, and laid there for a long while, lingering on her thoughts as her eyes then began to grow heavy with sleep. She guessed that the “nap” from earlier was not enough to catch up for the last few days that she had had. But truly, one could never get caught up in that of sleep…

Kiyoshi awoke to the sun shining brilliantly through her window, and hitting her face directly, illuminating it with its rays.

She groaned as she covered head with her pillow.

“Why?” She whined, her head still buried under her pillow, and Kyon started laughing from within her mind then.

“It isn’t funny Kyon!” She complained.

‘It’s a little funny.’ Kiyoshi rolled her eyes at his response, and then slowly began removing the pillow from over her head; peaking out at her window as if the light it was sending into her room was the very source of evil itself, either that or the grim reaper.

“Samael!” She accused the casting light from her window as she practically threw the covers from her, and started going about getting herself ready for the day.

After throwing some clothes on, and brushing her teeth and hair, Kiyoshi walked out of her bedroom, and wandered about the Shrine for a bit to realize that she was the only one there. Since that was the case, she took I upon herself to start studying for the upcoming exams, which would get her into the University of Kapok Bay.

Kiyoshi had been studying for hat felt like an eternity when she looked up at the clock then, realizing that most of the day was already gone.

“Great…” Kiyoshi sighed, but then when she lifted her eyes to one of the end tables in the library living room that she was sitting in, she noticed a note sitting on it.

“Hn?” She asked as she got up at took a look at it, glancing it over once before freezing up. She glanced about the paper with the messy scrawl on it a few more times before realizing what had happened.

She cursed under her before responding to the not allowed. “You have got to be kidding me!”

Kyon laughed again from with in her mind, and this just made Kiyoshi cursed more.

‘This shall prove interesting.’ He said, grinning.

‘No, it shall not!’ Then Kiyoshi gathered her things, put them away, and marched into her room to change again, leaving her original outfit under the new one for “just in case” factors.

When she went to the body-length mirror that she had in her bedroom, her eyes grew wide in horror, and she almost became instantly sick to her stomach as she saw her appearance. Kyon was eating it up like a little kid who had gotten exactly what he had asked for on Christmas.

Kiyoshi cursed again, this time at her parents and the outfit of choice, the very suggestive outfit of choice.

At that, she grabbed her backpack, proceeded to lock up the Shrine, and then left, heading down the stairs in a heartbeat. Once at the bottom, she had lost her balance and fallen to the cement sidewalk below her, barely catching herself because of her broken finger. It was the only thing left to her injuries. Everything else seemed to heal up fine.

As Kiyoshi stood up, she got a glimpse of the apartment complex that Samael lived in. She decided that she wanted to go bother him some more, maybe push him around again in the process. ‘Gee, that was fun.’ But, she had decided that she was late enough already, and crossed the street to the apartments, but then turned, and started walking towards her destination again, taking her sweet time.

Kiyoshi looked down as she walked, her hands behind her head as she thought about what she had to do. Not only was it Red Day, but her parents needed her to work that day, and not only just work, but work it, so to speak. She groaned in frustration at that thought as she continued along her way.

She blamed Samael for not taking the job that she had offered to him, although she did not tell him what it was exactly. Now, she was stuck working more then she had time for, and on Red Day too. Wearing something suggestive at that, and besides, Kiyoshi loathed Red Day. Her day could not possibly get any worse.

“I can’t believe them! I can't believe this!!”

For those of you who don’t know, ma chère is my dear in French. As in referring to a girl or a woman.


“Well, we don’t have anything planned. We could keep talking or we can go to into town and see if there is anything fun to do. It’s been so long since I had a relaxing day.”

Galen thought about her response for quite some time. He took notice to Reina looking at neither Rai nor him.

He looked up at the sky then, smiling slightly at the beauty of it all. Oh how he loved the lovely image that the sky was as the stars dusted themselves across the sky, dozens of many worlds of their own.

Why did she want to go to town though? It was so late, regardless of the having fun part.

“So what do you think? Do you wanna do that?” Reina had asked, and then Galen changed his attention from that of the stars above, to that of the girl in front of him.

“No.” Rai had begun. “I won’t be able to go out with you guys today. I still have some things to take care of. But, I will see you tomorrow.”

Reina smiled slightly at Rai, before addressing Galen again. “How about you Galen? You wanna accompany me into town?” She asked, gaining Galen’s full attention then.

He nodded then, a slight smile playing about his lips. “It would be my pleasure, ma chère.”

Galen then held out his arm for her so that he could escort her to town. Although not knowing quite where that was, he would somehow find his way with Reina in arm.

"I know I'm lucky. I'm very lucky." She blushed and felt her smile turn goofy as she chuckled. She looked down at the menu and tapped her chin lightly. "Um, well, I guess I'll take some baked ziti." She smiled as she passed the menu back to the waiter.

"Thank you so much, Kevin. This is the first time I've done anything like this for Red Day. Usually, I'm just at home by myself. It's nice not to be alone this year." She smiled widely. "So, did you really like your journal or not. It wasn't much, I'm sad to say." She played with the glass of water on the table, not sure what else to say. Also, she was trying to concentrate on keeping her ears and tail in from all the excitement and blushing she was having at that exact moment.

Anthony heard Rain talk to him. He realized that he was talking to this girl that he can only see. He better come up with a good excuse. "Oops, my bad, I thought I was talking to someone I used to play with. I guess I played too much video games..." His voice trailed off. He wondered if that can keep him covered.

Rain smiled a little.
"Don't worry I hear voices in my head as well, voices of death all the time," Rain said.
Don't tell him that, we'll have to kill him after that.
I like him though he's like me.
Until he destroys the common link.

This ran through Anthony's mind. It didn't seem to be a good thing but he was relieved that the truth behind him wasn't found out. "Guess you and I are almost the same then."

Anthony heard her again during this critical time.

I'm getting bad vibes from him.
Bad vibes? I don't see anything wrong with him. But...

Great, now what?

Galen then held out his arm for her so that he could escort her to town. Although not knowing quite where that was, he would somehow find his way with Reina in arm.

She took his arms and headed off. she told Rai good night and he went home. They took the long way to town. You see Reina didn't really want to go to town for fun. She's aware that it a was late. She was however hoping to run into Kairos. Walking around would give her a chance to pick up his trail. You see she hadn't changed from her shifter form.

I guess it was wrong of her to drag Galen into the whole mess but she was too scared to go alone. after everything she just couldn't go alone. She looked over at Galen as they walked throughthe woods surrounding her house. There the adjoining alley is right up ahead maybe if you're in town again you could come visit now that you know the way.

she smiled at Galen. the alley looked gloomier than usual. it even felt creepy walking through it so late.

[Dr. Hax]

"Of course, I love it. I needed one anyway as I have pent up thoughts that need to get out. Let's enjoy this dinner together, okay? There's one more place to go afterwards."

When the food and wine came out, Kevin began carving into the meat politely and took his first bite, savoring the juices that stemmed from the meat.

"This is the best food ever, Hana! Go ahead, eat."

Hana couldn't help but smile as she watched Kevin. After she realized she was staring, she blushed, cut a bite of ziti, and put it in her mouth. She had forgotten the last time she had eaten ziti that tasted this well. She quickly took another bite, resisting the urge to shove the whole meal in her mouth at once.

"This is excellent food. If I could one day cook like this, or even like you, I'll be ready for anything. Although, I seem to be very slow at it." She smiled, slowly placing the food in her mouth. She sighed happily as she took a sip of the wine. Coughing, she swallowed, realizing she wasn't completely use to wine. She blushed again, slightly embarrassed.

Kairos found himself on the roof of the bookshop. After waking up from falling asleep he had gone and had a much needed shower and clean up. He flet much more refreshed. As well as changed. He didn't understand a lot but he was trying. He had finished his book. It was moving and compelling. A amazing story, portraying how anything can change. As he watched the sun rise he thought just that. He rested his head on his hands. He felt strangly in place watching the sun rise. He had done and seen a lot. Then for for everything to break down he was sure that it was the end of him. But here he was looking at the sun rise. Still here. Even repaired. He whispered a silent thanks to Kiyoshi again for the experiance she had given him.
His eyes began to show more again. Strangly they were happier images then he was use to. Couples eating, relaxing, and people feel all the general better this day.
"Well it is red day today isn't it?" He directed the question to his shifter shadow, as he had come to know it. The figure just remained unresponsive. He just smiled and looked through the images. He reconised some of the people, others he didn't. Strangly he felt drawn so certain ones more then others. Maybe it was that shifter thing again. He had met enough to believe strongly that something brought them together.
However a concern now was the time he had spent shifted. He was sure he had drifted to sleep after finishing the book but even then he awoke shifted. He didn't want to try to turn back just yet. He was here and he didn't feel weak at all. Maybe it was best to just keep the good luck. He didn't mind being able to see for once. Even if he saw more then was needed.
He looked hismelf up and down though. His form wasn't something that blended easy though. At that thought the fingers of his shifter shadow twitched. Like once before in the forest his clothes changed and became a lot like his normal ones. However they kept the same colours as normal. White shoulders, black for the main and crimson flames for the bottom. It had changed as he had. He was sure he had gained the crimson after he was consumed by his anger in the forest that time. But he white was still amystery. he didn't feel like he had earned that.
He smiled "Its going to be harder to hide my eyes." He joked. "Guess people will have to get use to them." he laughed as he ran his hand through his hair. It was good for it not to feel greasy anymore. He smiled and made his way back into the shop through the window ready to start this new day better then any other.

[Dr. Hax]

Kevin took a drink from the wine and said, "Dear, you'll be able to cook like me. From now on, I will leave dinner to you so you can gain your own experience. If you need help, just call on me, okay?"

He saw Hana cough from the wine and chuckled a bit...

"Too strong for you? This wine is 20 years old so it tends to be strong for the newer types. You will grow used to it over time."

"Don't have to tell me if you don't want to," Rain paused, "But I sense you and I are of the same breed almost."
Rain walked over to the house door and stared at it. He sighed deeply.
"Anthony, why were you running away?" Rain asked.

Kat nodded as she helped Amy put Xanu in the car. She looked over at Samael who appeared a bit annoyed at all the new company. From being around him, she could assess that he socially challenged, so his reaction wasn't very surprising.

"Samael!" She yelled from over by the car. " This is Amy, and those two over there are Roki and Nina! Don't worry, they won't bite! They're my friends!"

"You guys should probably all tag along. It beats staying here."

[Tsukamoto-San]

"Heh, I'm really not use to wine. Actually, I was never really one to drink either. But, like you said, I'm sure I'll get use to it." She blushed again, even more embarressed. "I feel gulity. You're teaching me to cook and letting me stay with you, but, I'm not paying you back. You know, I'm pretty good with art. I'm not sure if you like art that much. But, if you want any tips or anything, I'm willing to help." She smiled as she took another sip of wine. It was a little difficult to keep down the cough but she wasn't going to make a fool of herself again.

[Dr. Hax]

"Don't feel guilty, Hana. It's fine. I would love to learn art but after today is over."

Kevin signaled for the check and paid with cash. He gracefully grabbed Hana's hand and said, "Shall we go to that last place I had in mind? It has a great view of the ocean and only I know about it."

Hideo was riding along enjoying the scenery whip past him at not quite sixty miles an hour. He had to be careful his street tires were not designed for the rough roads around the woods.

He felt more than head the tree fall as the vibrations made their way through the bikes chassis. *What the?*

He turned in the direction of the sound to spot the last branch drop below the treeline and some girl fly away from it.

*What's going on? Oh man better catch her, before there's trouble!*

He roared after the flying girl shouting through his helmet.

"Hey! Stop! I just want to talk!"

"That sounds great. I love the ocean." She grasped Kevin's hand and walked beside him silently. It was a great feeling to be relaxed and just have fun with out any worries. She took a deep breath, letting the air cool her lungs. There was something about being out in the cool air that brought on happy memories. Like playing out in backyard and planting the garden with her mother. Now, she had this memory to add to list.

Anthony heard the question. He was willing to tell the truth. “The reason I ran away because this person called me on my cell phone and told me I was in danger. I was going to ask this person what is his or her name but this person hung up before I got a chance to ask. Later, I heard my doorbell ring and apparently, this person was right. A pair of cops was standing at my front door. I didn't want to find out what the cops wanted so I took what I need and left the house via balcony.” Anthony hoped that Rain understood what he just said.

Running with Hana to a private grassy area, Kevin sat down and said, "Join me, dear as we watch the sun set."

Kevin felt that his day was going better than expected. He just wanted this time with Hana to last a while. His feelings of relaxation had only started. When Kevin thought about it in retrospect, he saw the strangeness in a dog loving a cat. He shrugged it off and had decided to lay back.

As her philosophy class progressed, Miria listened in complete silence till she received a message on her computer.

"Are you afraid of the voices you hear in your head?"
Miria stared at the screen in fear. She looked at the other students to make sure none of them were looking and noticed none of them were.

"Who is this? And how do you know this?" There was a bit of a pause before the unknown voice left another message on her computer.

"I am the voice inside your head. Always listening in on your fears." Horrified, Miria closed her laptop quickly, sending a slamming noise throughout the room. Everyone within the class room turned to look at who created the noise. Miria sat there, a bit embarrassed from her reaction to the messages. Her class continued on as Miria's eyes wondered through her thoughts of how the incident occurred. It's nothing more then some sort of illusion my mind is playing on me, she thought. Then, Rick was waving in the window of her class. Miria looked away as she realized he was in the window. What is he doing here? Rick pointed to his cellphone to signal her that she had a message on her phone. Miria discretely took out her cellphone and looked at the message.

"What are you doing later? We should go for a walk in the park." She texted as fast as her fingers could go and answered:

"We could. I have no homework and I am getting bored with doing nothing but art all week." When Rick received the text, he smiled and winked at Miria. She smiled and Rick walked away from the window and onward to a new class.

Later in the day, she met Rick near the entrance of the university.

"I was wondering why it was taking so long for you to get here and now I know why." He looked at all the art I was carrying, which explained how late I was meeting him.

"Were stopping at the art shop. They want some of my art to sell and there planning on sending some to a gallery to be displayed." Rick placed his hands on my shoulders and softly gripped them.

"That's great! It's good to see that your talents are going to be known." Miria was the type to be shadowed, hidden from the world and destined to be a nobody. Her life has always been that way and she desired to remain that way. She faked a smile and walked to the art shop, gracious of the rewards the day has given her.

[Tsukamoto-San]

Sitting beside Kevin, Hana stretched out and smiled. "You know, like I said when we first met, we make an odd pair. A cat and a dog. Although, I'm not all cat, so, maybe that has something to do with it..." She laughed, "I don't know what just made me think of that, but it was on my mind."

She leaned back on her hands and looked back at Kevin. "I hope things turn out okay in the end. It's something I probably shouldn't worry about, but, it's crossed my mind a few times. The last time I was this happy was right before Jez disappeared. I mean, don't get me wrong. I've been happy since then. It's just, well, I was never quite this happy. I have friends now and I have you." She sighed, looking out at the view in front of her. "Just promise things aren't going to change too much."

She hadn't told anyone how she felt till now and it felt good to let it out. Truthfully, she knew he couldn't promise her that. No one could. "That was stupid to say. That's a promise on one could keep. But, I can at least say I'm going to try my hardest to be strong and not be a weakly, like I usually am." She got a determined look on her face. This was the one time she was going after exactly what she wanted and it felt nice to go against her normal rules.

[Dr. Hax]

Kevin sat up again and said, "I will try to make you happy always. I love you and nothing can change that."

He pulled Hana toward him and let his lips touch hers in a kiss to be remembered by the both of them. He didn't want to let her go and so he just kept on holding her until she wanted to talk again.

[RayCaptain]

"Jericho get out here! The fact that you searched the day away don't change the fact that you gotta train," Tommy was waving his arms around as Jericho came strolling around the corner of the house.

"Yeah, yeah I know. Was hoping that you'd let up a little on this training," Roivas went over to a piece of large metal and started doing some sloppy reps.

"Loosen up? Man you must not be the guy I'm looking for. You know, big guy, weird clothes, about yay high, and never complains about workouts," Jericho's trainer kept on and on until Jericho actually started trying and did the curls right.

"Freak'n shifters..." Cortez had fitted herself with prostetic skins and looked amazingly normal now, "Always causing me grief," She brushed her hair back and gave an empty laugh as she sat on a bench in the city.

She'd already checked all of Jericho's other hideouts and he was nowhere to be found. The major was no longer in a blind rage about her new body. In fact, she liked it a lot seeing as how it aloud her to do all sorts of stuff she'd never been able to do before. Cortez was faster, stronger, and more resiliant than ever. However, even though she wasn't on a destructive rapage anymore, she was now going off of a deeper hate. A hate that is like a scar; not as noticable but every time you see it you feel that sting.

"Well I guess he's not my target anymore. Got to find a new one or I'll wind up depressed!" Cortez gave one more hollow, disturbed laugh before standing and walking off down the sidewalk.

Hana kissed Kevin back and wraped her arms around him. She felt his arms tighten as he held onto her and she couldn't help but smile to herself. It was the first time she had felt completely safe and she didn't mind how long she got to stay there.

"Kevin," She nestled her head against his chest, "I love you, too" Smiling, she sighed. "I had no doubt you'd protect me. And, I'll protect you as best as I can."
