Losing someone

My old barn owners horse has to be put down on wednesday and I havent seen her in a couple months and now that I find out shes not gonna make it Im miserable! Why should I even care? Shes not my horse.... idk

Losing someone is a very painful thing, especially when that thing or person has been with you and is important in your heart.

Everyone experiences it once and a while.

And people can get especially attached to animals. My mom seriously mourns when she loses a horse.

Losing someone is definitely hard to endure. I did not lose anybody dear to me before, but I have seen lives taken right before my eyes. It is sympathetic. So, err, we have to cherish those people around us before losing them. Realizing that you've not done anything for them after they are gone is useless...Act. Now.

Everyone deals with loss differently. I find it hard to get over things. At the end of it all though, you just have to find your own way of letting out your sadness dissapointment hurt grief, and ultimatly fear. Its not something that you should shun, or shy away from. Theres nothing wrong with confronting it head on.
You grow to be alot stronger when losing anything, be it an animal, a person or anything.

Well let's see, I have a heart so of course I'm going to feel sad when I lose someone in my life. I lost my friend one year ago and it still pains me sometimes. Its a normal thing for people to feel sad when losing something inportant to them. Such as a computer, friend, family member, or anything. It does not really matter what it is but how you feel for that loss, it can be an object or a living thing. So yes, it is painful losing someone, but everyone takes that pain differently. People either cry, don't really care and get over it fast, or some other way, but a death of someone important in your life does hurt, either little, or in a big way.

When someone becomes detached from this world it is hard believe and sometimes hard to except. I lost my grandfather a few years back and it hit me hard. When all of our family gathered for pay our respects I thought he would walk through the front door at any time. That night I was the only one to completely break down in front everyone. It was like a piece of my heart was lost.

I'm sorry to hear that Onee-chan...yeah losing someone who means a lot to you would hurt a lot...this has never happened to me though...we shud treasure every moment we have with our close ones^^

I think it's difficult to deal with when you lose someone important to you. See, when my aunt died, everyone was crying at the funeral. Me on the other hand, I just couldn't. I don't like crying in front of people and it's just not like me to express strong emotions like that in front of people. (I was sad that she did die) It takes alot to make me cry, a deep emotional thing or subject needs to trigger it in order to cry. But see, my aunt never really had a huge impact on me because I didn't really know her. I guess it all depends on what kind of impact that person or animal has had on your life as well. I never got too attached to my animals. (I live on a farm and some go for meat.) I was particularly attached to my steer, Prego.(funny name....spaghetti sauce.....LOL) He was awesome, easy to handle and love to be petted. It was terrible when I had to sell him off but you never get attached to an animal you know will be steak later. Cats on the other hand, I love the two we have to pieces!!!! ^^

As for losing someone by death, who is close to me, no, not really, nothing that affected my life and emotions too much.

Its very painful when you someone whos dear to you. But if you remember all the good and happy times with them it should help ease the pain..
