The older people just don't seem to post as much. I post maybe every couple of hours and I'm 24 so I am one of the older people here.

i felt old a few days ago, but i think thats just cuz i just turned 16.
but ive been here since i was 12 or 13, i believe.

It is shared interests like what this site represents that put the less important details aside. We are all members because we like anime/manga/video games (all that tech stuff) and as far as I have seen no one is quick to judge or even focus on age and appearance or origin. Some of the first questions I got here when meeting people were strictly Anime/Manga related with some follow ups on topic. Let us enjoy the neutrality of our own cyber Switzerland.

No need to worry,there's more than enough us adults here,there are actually quite a number of members that are 18+ ...
No need to feel old,this is normal thing,after all,this is mostly anime site,so it's only natural for more kids to hang around places like this...
Still,there are adults too,and besides,there are actually even younguns that are quite mature,enough to amaze me with their psychological development...

As for the internet,it's only natural...Generations are changing,I got my cellphone in 8 grade of elementary school,I got my first PC in 1st year of high school,and my bro got pc and cellphone in 2nd year of elementary...

Nah there are many reasons why this site is populated with teenagers. Anime outside Japan is often associated with youth entertainment and isn't something adults watch.

I started reading this thread and I got sick. I can't believe this thread was started by a 20yr old. When I was in my teens or even in my 20's I never felt old. It was like the whole world was in front of me. I was hanging out with friends and hanging loose. Now I'm 33 and I do feel old. Just the other day on another thread someone said none of you guys hear started watching amime on vhs and I said I did. So for all you people under 30 hold on to your youth.

Old is a relative term. Since the average age on AF is like 14, people over 18 are (legitimately) bound to feel old. It's even merited to sit in a rocking chair on the porch and shout "get off the lawn!" at the young'ins.

Feeling older is one thing. What I don't like are members who say someone in their 20's IS old. Though at the same time I laugh, because I know how differently those members will feel when they're in their 20's.

My older bro introduced me to anime and it was on VHS. We are so blessed to have the internet and now rather than needing piles of VHS tapes to store my anime and using a crappy VCR I go to start menu and look for the drive I store my anime on.
