Sonic Game Plots

Ok so I wanted to start a thread about this sense I did not find one using the search tools. Ok this thread is all about Sonic game plots. I want to know what you all think of them. I also wanted to make this thread because I noticed sense a lot of the Sonic fans have been demanding simpler story for a given game the story has just been slipping. A example of this might be Sonic Adventure-Sonic06 aka Sonic the Hedgehog for the 360. Even though there was many so called complaints about these games I feel they have much more detailed plots then the latter two, Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Colors.

What is your thoughts on this.

Now this is a tricky one.

A lot of people want simpler stories because; 1) it harkens back to the old school sonic games, and 2) because how much of a story can you really get out of a sonic game. o_O

Of course, if they're willing to put in the effort, I don't think it's completely unfeasible. Sure, people don't like the 3D sonic games, I get it. That's not to say that they can't make a good one.

It really all depends on what experience you're gunning for I suppose.

I see where you're coming from, but the Sonic games had a very goo story going. I know on their end it was basically comply with the fans or rik to much. I can't help but disagree with the idea that it needs to be simpler.
That is just me though, I like detailed/complex plots for any storyline including video games.

While Sonic Colors' storyline is really mediocre. The game is really great, a lot greater that nasty release The Black Knight. Like what the hell happened there? Lol.
