Oooh I like this one Clawdia, it's really cute. You certainly haven't gotten worse. There is not much advice I can give on this one and I think you did a good job on the composition.

Probably because of the more solid background. I like the balance of negativity here too.
Position is quite good, which is usually hard to pass, congrats there! People tend to just slap it at the center, which is pretty boring imo >_> but i'm not liking the vividness too much, it makes the hair shadow look like empty space, y'know, nothing there, na-da, poof, nuthin. But I think thats just my tastes, but feel free to listen to me if you'd like ^_^ Otherwise, colors look quite nice, but I think I'd darken the star stock at the bg, just by a touch.

It's the giftie sig for Darkandiel. On second thought, I'm not too sure about the coloring, but then again, I really don't dislike it. Soooo, I'm on the fence. Anyone else got a opinion?

I like this signature, but the text is hard to read because of the background. But I do advise maybe you should try: Whenever the text is on different backgrounds, like per say, how the dark text is on the dark background and the smaller ones are on the white. You should have made the DARK ANDIE text white primary color and a black secondary on that text, and leave the bottom black. So that it isn't so...hard to read.. (If your program allows you anyway)

I think it's pretty. :] But I think the text could be improved. Maybe blend it with the sig? Besides that, I'm liking your work.

I really like the sig, except for, as people have said, the text. The EL is very hard to read, and all of the text looks kind of pixelly.


I like this one. I love the way the girl is really looking at you. And she stands out.


This one is very cool. You've had that a lot, haven't you. =) I love the red eyes.

I do agree, too, that the text on that sig was plain awful. Finding suitible fonts and such is one of the most difficult things for me, so I'm determinded to use this week to improve on that. IT'S USE IT OR LOOSE IT, PEOPLE.

Uhm. So I wanted to try the grunge style, and I basically failed at it. It's okay for a first attempt, though, so I'ma post it here for everyone to see.

Not bad. That's pretty good. You just need to sharpen the extract more, it looks way unclear. I'm liking the mood and effects though. Use the brighter version and work on focusing the lighting in the center to draw attention to the extract. Saturate the colors a bit. Try adding some splatters and clip masks.

Thanks again for the siggy. I don't get on AF as often as I'd like. I think the text gets pixellated in Gimp depending on how you save it. That's if you use Gimp. I still really like it, the sig is very nice apart from that, I'm loving the colours. I'm going to use the AF version. ^__^

I finally got around to making a signature that features one of my favorite fanpairings. I've been meaning to for the longest time, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was easier than I thought it would. What's more is that I'm happy with the finished result.

I you're reading this and you actually care about this rambling, strange post, you may be asking What fanpairing is it, Clawd?

I answer: EDVY

Warning, small children, prudes, or homophobic and/or anti-yaoi individuals may or may not be offended by the following signatures. In that case, I advise you to just deal with it, cause I don't care.

An avi which I am crazy about because it features (guess who?) Allen Walker, and a sig which is just kinda there.





But seriously? The sig? I'm not crazy about it. I don't even like it that much, but I'm out of ideas and I need a new trick. Until I figure out what that is, I'm stuck. Gimme some crit?

I think I'll stop making sigs for a while. I get less and less enjoyment out of it every time I attempt to make a well-rounded sig, and I'm unhappy with the resources and program I use as well as my own talent. I may post a few more things here later, but I'm not counting on it.

you really should post more, Clawdia. I was looking through your thread, and I must say, I am thoroughly both impressed, and enjoying your work. It's unique, and its very beautiful. I'd request one from you, but you don't seem to want to make sigs, so I'll leave that be until you want to again.
in any case;
the avatar is really nice. can't find much crit on it.
the signature however, as Des said, the blending isn't very good with the extraction, and the background is nice but it doesn't match.

please continue to make sigs and sets. you are a good source inspiration to me, and you're getting better. don't give up~

I've been trying to work on improving my depth. That was my intention with the last set as well, but some people told me it was too blurry. I don't know. I hope today's offering is better.





Version 2 is slightly more monochrome. I also tried to improve my rather stiff relationship with C4Ds.

Hmm, I love the one you have as your current sig. You didn't bump up the contrast and that's great. ^_^ This gives the sig a whole new look for you. I like what you did with the background. but I think and extra layer between the background and the render would give it a even more depth. Nice Job though. ^_~

I was given the chance to make a set for the wonderfully kind Yuuki Kurosu, and I decided to try a new sort of style while I was at it. It's different from most of my other works (although it reminds me of the second sig I made for Kana), but I don't think that's a bad thing. Oh! And I also made myself a Belphegor avatar, because recently I've been completely obsessed with his character. (Even though I seem to have little interest in the anime he comes from.)

Nice sigs Clawdia! The latest one made for you has pretty colors, so I prefer the color version. I just don't like the glow around the character and I don't think the black dots in the background looks good either.

I like the one for Yuuki! Nice job with the C4D, although I think you could've changed the color of it, perhaps to something a little bit more greenish.

This is an entry for a contest on another forum. I really would appreciate constructive criticism.

The one for the contest does not blend in well with the background and I don't really like the text that is spread out all over. In my opinion they should be close to each other in a really small font so you can barely read it. The blue background does not fit, you might also need some overlapping effects on the render so it could blend in better.

I like the signature you made for yourself :3 I think it might just need a light source and you could also sharpen the focal a bit.
