Do you Save the Best until Last?

This can be things like; if somebody has explained to you that s/he has good news and bad news for you, what would you want to hear first? The good news or the bad news? Or if you were eating a meal, do you save your favourite part of the dish until last? Or do you eat it first off because you love it so?

I always save my favourite things until last. If it is a meal then I will save the best part, or my favourite part, of it for last so that I still have the taste of it afterwards, and such. Also, I would rather hear the bad news first. The good news will most likely leave a good after-taste, just like when eating a meal.

yes i do save the best until last, likefood for example i love fries so first i eat my sandwich and then my fries ^^

Apart from on christmas morning when me and my sister open the presents from each other before the other big one/s.

I am as patient as you, Kajiwara - to have the best things for the last. =w=~o I am always picky and I like to have them for myself. I would hesitate a lot to share them with other people (except anime/books/manga etc.) as I am...quite a selfish person O_O

I also save the biggest and main presents for last.

When it comes to buying things then I will buy the best thing first. This is obviously for posessive reasons, and sometimes money too. Like, recently the brand new big statues of Tsukasa and Kagami Hiiragi in their shrine clothes have just been released in the UK, and I plan on purchasing the Tsukasa one first because she is my favourite character.

That is new to me. I suppose it really depends on what the circumstances are.

Okay, when it's food, I'll just eat what I like. I'm a very picky person. Then I'll eat desert, but then after desert I have to have something not so sweet. It's a weird fixation of mine. When it comes to shopping, I'll buy the best thing first. When opening presents, I'm forced to open the best ones last, but that's normally how it goes, anyway. I have another one. When I'm about to go to school, or something like that, I listen to one of my favorite songs last so I have it sucked in my head for the rest of the day.

I have never 'Saved the best/worst for later' Usually I randomly combine the better with the worse so I am not saving the best/worst for last.

Yup, I always do! I always get my homework done before resting, and I always eat the yucky stuff before I eat the good stuff. x3

I too prefer saving the best for last, especially with food, however there are some exceptions from time to time.

No.I like going downhill in life,presents,food,etc.I save the worst for last.I like the feeling when I go out and eat to have the salad last after eating the shrimp and have my friends' girlfriend call me a queer for eating the best stuff last.Dissapointment is THE BEST FEELING!

Music is an interesting case. I now put my MP3 player on "Shuffle" mode. This way there is an equal chance for any song to come up.

With food my ways can differ. Such as if I do not feel hungry whilst I am still eating then I will eat the best part of it first. This is because I do not want to get full of the things that I do not particularly want to eat only to be stuffed by the time I get to the food that I do wish to eat. I hate it when I am eating a favourite meal of mine but cannot finish it due to the fact that I am not hungry anymore. I only regret it the next day.

In terms of food and hearing good news or bad news and gifts, I always save the best for last. That's how its always been for me.
With books, music, and such I like it the other way around.

I normally give the bad news first, and save the good for last.

People for some reason don't seem to like this. You would think they would prefer to know what went/is wrong first as opposed to what they wanted.

I suppose not everyone has such Napoleonic thought processes.

This applies to pretty much everything as well. I prefer to keep the rewarding stuff at the end so I can tackle the worse things first. I prefer an uphill battle followed by an easy decline ... not something that steadily gets worse.
