It doesn't matter. They can ban who they want. Forums are generally privately owned. Unless the forum changes ownership or management, the Admin(s) is unlikely to spontaneously decide (s)he doesn't hate you.Originally Posted by Mavericker

I don't think spamming the Site Administrators and the Chat/Forum Admins is going to get you anywhere. I personally would go through and check the boxes and press delete. Being over apologetic is annoying too.
I think a one time "Hey I know I did [insert moronic deed here] and I'm sorry that I allowed myself to be like that." would be better than most of the responses I've seen so far.
But really..... just don't do stuff to get warnings and you won't get banned. =D

People don't need evidence. It's a private service. You don't have a "right" to use someone's message board. It's not a public place. They can disallow you from it for any reason, or no reason at all.

LOL, anyone who gets IP banned from a site can find a proxy site if they're bored enough.
No-proxy server sites can let you browse and use a site anonymously- they won't know who you are or what your IPS address is.
The trouble with banning is: some forums also have bullies, trolls, snobs and Mortimer Snerds that hate other members, especially newcomers, for no reason, believeing they may be a threat to their so called staus quo, so to get rid of them they taunt and bully their victims so much until they lose their rag with those bullies to the point of them making threats and that prompts the mods to ban those said victims. Such snobs use banning to their own advantage; that happened to a mate of mine. poor thing was banned after getting tricked into getting upset, the lot.
