Do you believe sharks are misunderstood or mindless killers?
i believe that sharks are misunderstood because sharks are more intelligent then most creatures and people are not giving them enough credit for that.

i dare you to ask me that damn question after you see this picture. That damn shark killed two of my friends.
Sharks are extremely simple killers. They are not intelligent.
That said, they are misunderstood, if only because many people are afraid of sharks in spite of very few fatalities in any given year.
Ehhh, I dunno if I'll stick around. We'll see.

Sharks are definitely misunderstood!! Just because JAWS projects that image of sharks being mindless eating machines doesn't necessarily mean it's true!! I can't believe ppl believe in the unbelievable these days...like how ppl believe in all those fake Kung fu stunts that the so called "masters" perform. You give me that spear, I'll force it through his throat!! No "chi" power is going to help him!! Anyways, not every shark is like a mindless eating machine, infact, no shark is for that matter U_U

Sharks don't mean to kill. They just need to eat. And I kinda agree with MP2000.

What is there not to be afraid of. Sure all sharks are not this huge but people are afraid of them because they are just intimidating. Huge mouth, large size, fast in the water, quick, and can pop out of no where.
We as humans feel at home on land, but when we venture into unknown territory were we do not have the same agility and abilities as a shark would. We are pretty much at a loss. That is why we are afraid of them. Damn intimidating.
As my brother zetromis says people fear what they do not understand.

Sharks kill for food as do we. The only reason we don't like sharks is because they kill us rather than us killing them.

I do think that they are misunderstood creatures. That doesn't mean i like them though. I would be terrified if i ever saw one in person. My sister is so scared of them too. She is scared of going into our pool alone because she thinks that there are sharks in there.

well, we're killing off more of them than they us. The shark fin soup is extremely popular. Several species are becoming extinct.

They're not these "vicious killers". Like everybody else with some common sense said, they are hunting for FOOD.
They are animals, and like other animals will not do something because they can there is a reason for it, they would not have survived this long on the planet if they did mindless things.

i think that sharks are misunderstood. attacks happen to surfers cause underwater they look like giant turtles. sometimes they happen to swimers because they start flopping around lke dying fish stuff. EVERYONE KNOWS SHARKS LIKE DYING FISH STUFF!!! ................. but i am scared to death of them.
