Its about modern day pirates. They work by taking dangerous jobs and trafficking illegal or stolen goods to places. The crew often end up int ouble and get into firefights with other pirates and occasionally Neo Nazis (I'm not joking). If you liked Cowboy Bebop this is your kind of Anime.
What makes this anime good is that everyone in this anime is not the right side the law. So, there's no one fighting to uphold the justice or in the good side since even the local cop is corrupted. Even the local religious institution is not holy what they seem to be (in the series that's). They even have this famous actor look-like as the Roanapur Triad Boss
I think the supposed spoken language is English/Thai since it is set in the region of South China Sea. IMO I think that they should use international cast since in Second Barrage on some scene the final arc of the series, they speak Japanese then awkwardly translate it back and spoke in English. Heck, it's just me.
No pirates. They are assassin's and they get things for you. Just because they have a boat doesn't mean they are pirates. Or were they pirates?I just remember that it was awesome and has a great ending.
