I own 3 samurai swords, one of which is an antique. I've also got one short-sword, and about 4 large daggers. I also have at least 7-8 pocketknives lying around. Here's a few pics but I dont have pics of all of them, just two of the samurai swords and two daggers >.<

However, I dont have any experience with guns really. I've shot a rifle quite a few times but I dont have any.

But wouldn't it fly out of the bucket and into the air, and disperse in ever direction due to the small explosions? That's how I think it would work, unless the force moves it away from the normal matter. Not that I'm a physicist or anything.

It won't disperse because all the small explosions are along it's perimeter: They all exert a force inwards towards the anti-matter (it acts like air pressure in a sense).

It could probably fly out of the bucket, much like popcorn will fly out of the frying pan if you cook them that way.

It could explode if the anti-matter becomes warm enough to change into a gas (which is a prominent risk with constant nuclear annihilation going on.)

Ummm well lets see if i can remember everything ive used since ive been in.

M4: What we use in Iraq
M16: What we use in BCT
.50 Auto: .50 Automatic heavy machien gun. With no ammo the thing ways 80 lbs.
Mk19: Automatic Grenade Launcher (The night fire with this thing was the best darn thing since cheese.)
M249: SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon)
M9: Ehh. Pretty basic Pistol.
AT-4: Anti Tank RPG
S&W .500: Yes....If only i was 21 i would have bought it from him. I at least had the pleasure of firing it. Loud and Kick back is killer.
FN Herstal P90: Another Battle Buddies buy but he let soem of us put some rounds down with it.
Claymore's: Explosions of these are much louder then portraid in Movies and Games.
Grenades: Same as above


Own countless pocket knives, leathermans, survialist knives, and combat knives as well as my bayonet for my rifle. Well its not countless but im to lazy to dig through all my stuff...Humm i should have a count later on in the day just realized i need to sharpen at least half of them. If and when i go to Iraq, i will not be without a weapon. No way will i die un-armed.

I think my faveorite weapon that i ahvent used, and evenif i have it would prolly still be my fave, is the Minigun. yea yea yea a big gun for a little man. Thhhtttppp.. If given enough ammo zombies wouldnt get within 100yds of you.

No, it is a .308 cal/7.62x51mm rifle made by Knights Armament. It is an SR-25. There is a newer version of it out that is very similiar, I think maybe just the front sight or gas block or something is different but it is the Armys new sniper rifle called the M110.
Navy and Marines is called Mk11 Mod 0 I believe.

And it is a very expensive rifle, it is not worth as much as they want for one since Knights Armament doesn't focus really on civi sales.

No no no...The meters thing; i said max affective range. Meaning the max distance it can go while still being fairly acurate.

I dont know were you got your info, you could absolutley be right, but im going with what i know about the M16 rifle. That looks exactly like an M16. Everything from the stock to the front sight post is the same. On top of that im almost positive thats a Colt Firearms symbol on the side of the clip chamber. From what i can tell, that is not a 7.62 caliber rifle either. The clip chamber is to small. 7.62 are considerably bigger then the standard M16 round 5.56.

Im not trying to say you rwrong or your dumb or anything. I just dont want you tobe miss informed. I dont mind being wrong, and if you some how prove i am wrong, then i will apologize. Im only on this cause i had to carry around a stupid M16 for 9 weeks in BCT. Im pretty sure i got the damned thing memorized. If i am wrong, thanks for showing me this new rifle. Mabey theyll start letting us youse them at the range. I shurly wouldnt pay no 8000$ for it though. I can go out and get a .50 Snipe for 5000, then turn around and buy me a nice FN Herstal P90, to place on my back just incase i get in one of those close quater situations.

Dad has swords and guns, but he never let me used this yet -.-' Though for the swords, he don't mind as much as the guns. (He makes some of his swords himself, he makes almost everything -.-)
I'd like to have more of those south eastern asian two handed weapons <3 I kinda like using those better.

I once done target practise with a long-distance rifle at a British Army base. The soldier whom was supervising said that I was a great sharp-shooter as I hit all five targets down under a minute. When I had all 5 targets down the person next to me still had four left to shoot. You just have to remember to aim a little higher than the target itself or maybe a little to the left or right depending on the wind. At the time I had to aim higher than the target itself. I had a good day there. I had also taken some pictures inside of a tank that we got to sit in too. Obviously it was out of action but we could still flick all the switches. I wouldn't mind owning a Tank.

Well I took it from a wikipedia page on the SR-25, and yes I agree it is hard to tell the actual size of the magazine well in that pic but it is an SR25, the logo is Knights Armament on the mag well. Dude just look a lot closer and compare an M16, doesn't matter if it is an M16A4 either, there is no delta ring (replaced by locking nut for handguard) because it's a free float handguard, M16A4s, M4s, ect. have a delta ring. And yes I agree, M16 = musket...
And what in Gods name are you talking about 1500 meter accuracy with a 5.56, even 600+ meters it is a gamble.
I would still buy a Mk11 Mod 0 rifle (if I could find one, the complete kit with sound suppressor and everything, if not then just an SR-25). Why? Well for one I just want one, it's just me, not to mention it is an awesome rifle. I am not capable of pushing a .50 BMG rifle out to its max potential at 2,000+ yards. Plus if I wanted to buy a .50 BMG I would want the Barrett M107 which is like $9,000+, and with the extra money I could save by going with what I really want, a very nice semiauto precision 7.62 rifle, I could get a $1500 scope, a silencer, and a bunch of ammo.

I've often wondered if I could make a decent sharpshooter. I tend to do well at the ranges but I've never really been taught/shown the finer principles of long distance shooting.

So far my strength is in close quarters shooting - ie with pistols. Great reaction time and accuracy, but deep down I think I would rather try the distance thing.

I have always prefered the thought of firing from a distance. I have sharp eyes and ears. Spotter or shooter it would not matter to me. I once considered the army and one Army officer even said that me and a friend should forget about the police and become part of the Army in the future. I have considered the Army before..although I am not too sure at this point. I enjoyed distance shooting though, I really felt like it was something I should do even as a hobby.

Just keep in mind - not saying you are doing it - but people who think "sniper" is a hard role in the army - US/CAN/UK - are sorely mistaken.

To clarify to anyone wondering, sniper is essentially a position - but you are still hard infantry. I don't know about US/UK but here, you have to spend a few years as an Infanteer, and do well enough to stand out. Even then, you are nominated - you can make your desire known but cannot request the course formally. Only when your superiors nominate you can you try - and the course has a phenomenal failure rate.

I imagine it is not too different in the other NATO countries either. On top of that, I've seen people on a (mostly) canadian military forum say they want to be one cause it looks cool. Again, Hollywood ruins everything. I talked to only one sniper in person, and while he likes his job, he said it's tough as hell. Not sleeping for a few days, lying in your own filth for moving can give you away, not eating.. just horrible conditions. Nothing glamorous about it.

Thought I should at least say that much since I am sure eventually in this thread someone would have/will say "I wanna be a sniper it looks cool and im good at cod4 lulz!"

Well I said the exact opposite about myself, if I somehow get around $10k to spend on firearms I won't be getting a .50 BMG range penis when I know I am not capable of pushing it out to its limit, or even have the opportunity to with conveniant locations to shoot around here. The first part....Yea i dont know...I hear the Marine snipers are just deitys with there weapons, pretty sure they go through some crap. To me all this training in the military is all about your mind set. If your week and cant handle preasure, yea this could be hard...But if your tough and can hadnle the pressure, or have at least got you rmind set to think about others then your self, itll be a peace of cake. I havent been through anything truly tought yet, but i know i kept my cool in BCT and it didnt even make me blink. Alot of other people say its the hardest thing ever. pfft.

Sniper's: They can shoot things from a distance, i dont see the apeal in that any way. I prefer the rush from close quarters, cause then your mind knows your opponent can see you and can possibly kill you too. The adrenaline rush from that must be just absolutley insane.

But realy theres realy no glamour in war. Mabey for those high guys that arent in it, but for us "grunts" theres no glamour. Theres no glamour when you watch a friend die.

.50 BMG is flippin awsome. Even though i said before that i wouldnt take a snipe job, i still wouldnt mind using one of these. I am a fan of big guns, and big bullets. Thinking about reclassing to Tanker school. Should be fun. Then i might get my chance to drive me a real weapon...M1A1 Abrahms.

I'm rather ambigous towards firearms and other weapons because:
1. I've never touched a loaded gun in my life (except the department store stuff they stock in American department stores) since it's illegal to own anything that could kill anything more menancing than a chipmunk in Japan.
2. I can't imagine myself in a situation where I'd need to use a weapon, and I'm rather thankful for it.
3. People who talk about getting into fights or owning weapons over the Internet almost unfailingly sound like jerks to me for some reason. I'm not pointing anyone out, it's just a tendency I've sort of noticed.

That said, I love gang/yakuza flicks and I own my fair share of gun-porn. My favorite firearms are the Cz75 pistol, the Beretta M92F (feh), the Barrett M82 Anti Material Rifle, and the Kar98k.

I haven't used guns in my life yet but I go to the arcade a lot. They do their best to simulate real life situations, they even put the wind speed into the equation of their simulation (some games).

When I was in America, I wanted to go to the shooting range but it wasn't meant to be. My aunt didn't want me to go although my uncle WAS excited.

Anyway, guns I would like to own/use eh?

Hmm, for snipers, I guess the ever famous, Dragunov Sniper Rifle a.k.a. SVD. It looks cool.

For SMGs, I like the P90, I wonder why in the game, "Black", the P90 is classified as an Assault rifle but when I looked it up, it's an SMG.

For assault rifle, I like the Steyr AUG, I always buy this when I'm playing the game, Counter-strike.

For handguns, the Glock 17, it looks quite simple but I like it.

My most coveted gun however is the .44 magnum.. I'd like to use one in my life!
