I Usually say "Baka" at least once a day...but i will probably say it more whan i start learning japanese...

People don't like me when I am more optimistic because I act like Luffy (One Piece) and I naturally point things out at the worst times. But It's sort of the reverse issue of how I acted like that before I read One Piece. It's just now people compare me to him.

WOW!! Can't beleive this thread lasts so long. Seems the world is being overpopulated by L's! Every time i put my thum to my mouth my mom goes "I hate it when you do that!" I don't know why, it took her a month to realize i got that from L, so now i don't do it infront of her so i don't get embarassed.

Some Phrases/Words I have Embedded in my head now.. When I think Idiot first thing comes to mind.. Baka... same with alot of other words and stuff used in anime.. really useful though.. Probably learned upwards of 300+ Various Words and Phrases from watching Anime.. which is useful since I am learning Japanese.

But alot of times the Japanese word for something comes to my Mind before the English word.. weird eh?

It's scary how much people are imitating anime these days. For some reason, it's a lot cooler than imitating cartoons.

I seriously hate the word baka. But I suppose oro and sugoi aren't too overused for me to hate. However, sexy no jutsu is just ridiculous. =_=

The only thing I can think of that I maybe do is make little sound effects like anime characters do when most people won't. Like, when I's surprised, I'll make a little noise, or when I find something I didn't expect I do a different noise. You'd have to watch a lot of anime to pick up on it.

i often say things like "omega" instead of oh my god, like in pani poni dash.

and i will hold my hand up to my mouth and nibble on the skin around my knuckles... like a moe kitty >w<

After watching my first anime 6 months ago, I've been using more and more Japanese words without meaning too... Usually I only notice what I said when I realize that my friends are staring at me. It was especially embarrassing when I said 'Nyaa~' at the end of one of my sentences when I was talking to my friends. Since then I've been able to catch myself before I say it out loud.
My reaction's have been compared to anime characters before.

I've always sat like L from Deathnote when I'm in a narrow seat, so that can't be called a habit picked up from anime.

I am also convinced that red things go three times faster. ^^

when i was younger i used to say "oro" now i raise my hand when i say "YEAH!" or rub the back of my head when i'm embarrassed. My friends also say i stick out like a sore thumb with my hyper-ness. I don't believe thats anime-ish but thats what they blame it on so....

I picked up a few. Like many, I sit like L does, seems to be a common habit. I seemed to have, and I only noticed it after I'd been saying it for a while, picked up Kyon's phrase "yare yare" putting my hand to my forhead. I also drink a heck of a lot of milk since watching black cat XD. I have a feeling that once I get glasses (I am soon btw) I'll probably do that glasses thing that Ishida does in bleach...

Also, my friends are influenced by anime. An older friend sold his car and bought a new car after watching initial D. He claimed that it wasn't the cause but he only started thinking about buying a new car after he was part way through it. Also, anothe friend took up kenpo after I lent him Negima manga. Seriously, the influence of anime is scary

Agreed.Baka sounds pretty dumb in the real world.Oro can actually sound like Oho.I have done the put your hands behind your head, but to be fair, I have skulliosis.
