Taking Baths or Having Showers? Whither One doest Thou Prefer?

As the title states, which do you prefer to have; Baths or Showers?

I personaly prefer Showers. I find taking a bath tremendously boring and dull. Just laying there. I suppose one could bring a book but I always fear that I may drop it in there. I do not wish to ruin any of my novels or manga's.

But actually I have always wanted to try out hot springs. They look nice and relaxing. But I do not fancy bathing in mud, which is why taking a mud bath has never really crossed my mind. I do not care if it is good for ones skin.

Showers are just a whole lot easier for me and they use up less water. Although I do not know why people always say that, because it really depends on how long you are in there for, does it not? Plus you can change the temperature easily, even though sometimes showers just decide to change that on their own free will. Idiots.

I did once have a bad incident with a shower. When I was getting out I held onto the shower curtain and the whole thing fell on me. Haha, that hurt just a bit, as the pole supporting it did land on my head. Stupid friggin' pole..

Anyway, what are your views and preferences for bathing and cleaning?

Well, I prefer showers during a school week. It goes by faster. And baths when I am extremely sore. Ya, I usually don't like laying in the tub, while doing nothing. I would probably fall asleep and drown....not a good thing. lol Ya, showers are better for the most part. ^^

I like showers better just because our bath sucks. It's way too small for me. I have wanted to try a mud bath and hot springs. Mud baths because I have some weird fascination about bathing in odd things...like jello. lol
Anyway
If I had a larger bath that I would fit in, I might like those better. I think I would like reading in a bath, but just as Amray said, I'm afraid I might drop the book in the water.
So I can't really say for sure whether I like baths or showers better because I don't have a bath that would give me a good time.

I prefer to take showers. Nothing beats an ice cold shower on a hot day or scalding hot on a cold day. Cold baths are fun, but I'd rather not fall asleep in an icey bathtub and wake up to missing my kidneys. Provided I was still alive >.>

altho, saying that, i dont trust the shower after i discovered the metal hose was electrified , so id prefer to have a bath

I cannot even remember the last time that I had a bath. It was such a long time ago. Haha that sounds bad. XD
But I just had a shower before I created this thread, it was where I go the idea from.

I love them because they make you feel so clean and refreshed.

Showers easily, unless I want to relax in a different way. Then a bath in the jacuzzi tub is perfect.

I guess I prefer showers, since I shower more than I take baths, I suppose. I only like baths when I need to relax a little, or when I come home after a strenuous workout at the gym.

I have to be a quick in and out kind of guy, I cant stand to take the time to ready up a bath and soak. Usually I hit the shower about 20 minuets before I head out the door to go to work at night. Just no time to take a truly relaxing bath. (add to it my tub is to small for me to take on anyways, lol)

I used to love taking baths, but I now I much prefer showers. I do take a bath if I'm sick or something though; it makes me feel better.

The thing about baths is that they can take too long to pour, whereas showers all you have to do is wait for the temperature of the water to rise..or fall, depending on what you like.

Also if you wash inside of a tub full of water, does that not mean that eventually you are bathing in your own dirt? The answer to that should technically be no because people over the age of 13 should rea;;y be washing everyday, but what if they do not anyway?

Baths are nicer, but showers are all I get for the moment, seeing as how I have nowhere to bathe.

Unless that tub has a filtration system Like a fishtank or a river =3 But I don't know anyone who lives in a house that showers in rivers though >.>

I used to enjoy having baths when I was younger, because I got this toy for my 3rd birthday. It was basically a man in a fishing boat and you could wind it up so that he moved along in the water whilst pulling his fishing hook up. ^_^

I love taken showers cuz my tub is small but if im in a bad mood i take baths. idk y but it relaxes me eventhough the tub's small.

Oh. Some showers are like cubicles instead of hanging over your bath tub. They have sliding doors and stuff. Like in The Sims games.

Whenever I get out of the shower I always beware of what I hold onto as I fear the curtian may fall on me again. I have always been like that after that incident. XD
