What is the best way to cure a sunburn?
I have tried many solutions and would like to see how YOU treat a sunburn, or even a regular burn.
Who knows? Maybe we will all benefit from someone's advice.

Yeah, just go with things like aloe and stuff. I know you're probably aware of this, but just to make sure, avoid rubbing the burn too much.
A few summers ago I got like the worst burn ever, but I found that if you just put some stuff on it throughout the day and chill out, it'll heal well.
~Thanks, Souhi! I heart it!~
Wet a wash cloth. wring it out, but still moist, and just let it sit on the burn. Told to me by a doctor.
theres this stuff i use called ocean brreeeze . . sunburn on my back went from annoying to being a ice pack lol my back was freezing cold
Did I tell you to look at me? No? Good then get the hell away from me.
I use lotion, because when you get a sunburn, your skin dries up. Lotion hydrates your skin and it feels soothing. I use Aveeno, because they are the best type of lotion out there. I think if you just do that, it'll heal a lot faster.

Aloe Vera. I keep a couple pots of aloe vera outside, and whenever i get a sunburn or something like that i just break a very small piece off and rub it on the burn. Works wonders, quickly. Plus, it doesnt have all of the chemicals and additives in it that the aloe vera lotions have in them. So my suggestion, go to your local greenhouse and buy yourself a small aloe vera plant, take a couple of cuttings.. and grow yourself a few healthy plants.
Some of that stuff on the wikihow for sunburns is wrong...
Applying aloe vera helps, it cools and rehydrates the skin. Applying a small amount of vitamin E cream helps the growth and repair of damaged cells, but it really should only be a small amount since vitamin E clogs pores which would trap the heat in.
A lot of people say to shower in cold water but that closes the pores which again traps heat inside, luke warm showers open the pores up for heat dumping.
I don't really know about burns, with minor burns I just run it under cold water and then put egg on it which I've found cools the burn down and prevents it from scarring. It's probably one of those wive's tales methods but it worked for me xD

Sour milk for the win. Milk of any sort cures everything.
pieces of cucumber takes the heat out and the who cold shower thing is usealy used by a normal burn. when used by a normal burn though it should be luke warm.

Try lying in the Sun.
Really, you should consider putting sun lotion on before hand. I know I am not the one to talk as I do not even do it but still...

Ice cream >__>;*cough* I mean Aloe vera like everybody else said.
Treat it? It goes away on it's own, perfectly automagically. If you don't suffer from it, you'll never learn to limit your exposure to the sun.
Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
Keep out of the sun for a few days.

My advice is nothing out of the ordinary. I'd say aloe vera and body lotion work well with burns. :] Of course I don't mean using the two at the same time. Maybe using one after another at certain intervals or just one of preference. (;
Lol, everyone's getting sunburns xD (saving my skin for the 'real' summer to start; to the beach all day xD *imma be so burnt*)
Anyways yeah, aloe vera of course, or lotion.

I think aloe vera helps a lot. It's cooling so it'll help keep the temp of your sunburn so it will heal quicker. : )
Sunburn: I don't go outside. But when I do get a sunburn, I either don't notice or I just deal with it.
Regular burn: Depends on how bad. 1st degree, I can hardly feel. Put an icepack on it for an hour and I'm good. 2nd degree, ice pack for an entire day and if that doesn't work, dunk my hand in a bucket of freezing cold water until it gets numb >.< ((my burns are usually on fingers)) 3rd degree I segest you call 911 hospital emergency >_>
I've tried burn treatment meds. Sprays, cream... Works for maybe, 20 seconds. Then the pain is back.
