A Question about Rep?

Um...I have a question about reputaion [duh].

I've seen a lot of people with a long bar of green reputation, but the rep power = 0. This includes me. I'm just wondering how the rep system works, I guess.

If anybody can answer, I'd appreciate it so much.

The green rep bar=good rep
The Red rep bar=bad rep

The reason why your reps are at 0, but they're all good reps, is that you must go past 50 posts to get past 0. From then on, you'll receive reps regularly.

Oh...that makes sense. So once somebody gets in 51 posts do they start from 0? Or does the rep power number switch automatically?

If you're noty past 50 posts, then it doesn't matter how much good rep you receive, it'll still show up as 0. But when you do finally make it to 50 posts, the reps you received will show. Ex: Let's say your rep is at 0, then 3 people give you reps, and then those reps add up to 30. That much amount of reps doesn't show until 50 posts are made. They are show in your profile though.
