Mother's Day!! ^^

So, what did you do for your mother today?? And what did you give her?? You know, breakfast in bed, give her flowers, give her a hug??

Well, I was broke, so the only thing I could give my mom was love. I did do her a few favors, like wash the dishes, and pretty much leave her alone(I'm so annoying at home, it's not even funny!! 0.0). I let her relax for the whole day, and she really didn't have to do anything.

I didn't buy my mother a card, those things are meaningless. I just cleaned up the place while she was at work and had dinner ready for when she got home.

I have no money...so I sent her an e-card...but I don't think she got it since she hasn't said anything about it. D:
And I helped her clean her closet.

Well, I was bedridden all day today. I couldn't drive an hour and a half to see her, but I did give her a phone call telling her "happy momma's day" and that i'll be there my next day off. I'm giving her an Outback Steak House $50 gift card so her and Poppa can go out and eat, and I'll probably bring something else.

Me? Not much, I just gave her hug first thing in the morning.
After we came to my grandma's house, my dad and I had to leave. We had to go a jobsite but after that we watched Ironman.

I got her a 10 Euro Gift Card for her favorite shop. ^_^ She loved it. I don't choose for others. I might choose wrong. Gift card is the way to go!

the first thing i did was kiss her good morning then greeted her afterward...me and my bro left for the beach while my dad went on a date with her...hehe...i didnt have time to buy a card though...and im also broke... ^^"

It's on the 31st in Sweden. And even then I'm not going to give her nothing. She knows full and well what I think about sentimental novelty items and cards, and how the only thing they convey are not feelings, but how gullible you are to buy into it.

I didn't get her anything. Usually, me and my sisters would gather money and buy her something really expensive (that's what she likes most). But this year, the three of us were broke. We couldn't get her anything. I felt guilty. I'm also too old to make her cards. She wouldn't like that anyways. And I'm not used to hug/kiss her. So I just gave her a back massage for three minutes saying that was her gift. Lol. I felt a little better after that.

Oh, don't even mention it x.x I totally forgot about it, tho I planned to do something to surprise her. But I was actually a real pain in the @ss that day, I argued with her for no good reason cuz I was bored ^^; And so, at one moment she was like, do you know what is today?? And I was like, wut? o.O And then it hit me. Omg, that sucked. I have no idea how did I forgot about it.

I took me mum out to Applebee's. She enjoyed it. Lol. I know my mom likes to go out to eat. That's why i did it.

It's an ordinary day for my mom... uhmmm... my mom's religion is not celebrating the mother's day...so, I celebrate mother's day at my aunt's place... she bake chocolate cake and I cook pasta!^_^

Honestly, i don't like Mother's Day and why...well...to be honest...i don't like it when my mom takes that day as the day where everyone in the household Has to buy her something expensive, especially when i'm totally broke like now, i don't even have money to buy myself food at school. Mother's Day is also the day when she can get grumpy for no reason, so this is why i don't enjoy this day.

On Sunday, i didn't buy her anything, but instead, i planned to go to dinner with her. However, she got me mad that afternoon saying that i was yelling at a little girl which i did not. And she compared me with a rich 16 year-old girl who bought her mom a coach purse, and i hate it when people compares me with others. That girl is rich, and i'm broke. My mom compares me with other kids who buys expensive items for their mothers and being called useless...I didn't even go to dinner with her.

So this is why i never enjoy Mother's Day. But instead, i would enjoy Father's Day more, because my dad gets satisfied easy just by a simple dinner.
