I gouged out my eyes,
so that I don't see your crys.
I tore at my ears, till my hearing stopped,
so that I couldn't hear your tears drop.
I ripped my nose away,
no longer smelling your perfume sway.
Now I can hold you,
unjudging,
unbiased.
Just us two,
no more grudging,
no more spice.
I sliced away my flesh,
no more can I feel your soft skin.
I even started fresh,
and moved away from all of my kin.
Now that you left me,
empty,
alone.
I can no longer see,
to traverse this sea,
no means to attone.
I then shaved all of my hair,
nothing left for you to pull me by.
I could sense your cold stare,
under that saddening grey sky.
now that theres nothing left,
I curled up, thinking I was once blessed.
I cried through those empty holes in my head,
I never stopped wishing I was dead.
