So me and Memento Mori were having an argument between "Michael Jackson" music greatest hits, or either Village people Im going to let this go for Majority, if Majority wins I'm supporting MJ, and Mori is supporting Village People. this may be outrageous for a lot of people but i donīt like Michael Jackson...

MJ no doubt. Im not a fan of pop but damn his stuff was amazing, never get tired of listening to his stuff
in my opinion picking mj is a no brainer...his album thriller was the BEST SELLING ALBUM OF ALL TIME! which other album had nearly every single track becoming a top10 hit. This guy has won so many music awards in so many countries and broken so many music records its unbelievable

Although I love them both, I have to pick Micheal. YMCA is great, but really, how many other hits do the Village People have? MJ has more than I can count, ergo - winner.

Micheal Jackson all the way...
He's had some major hits and his music normally had a good message behind it. I love like all of his hits, ex. Rock With You, Thriller, Smooth Criminal and others as well.

the Village People are good for a laugh. Songs like YMCA, In the Navy, and Macho Man are corny good.
Jacko at his still kinda black, hair on fire prime made some of the best music of that era and they continue to be great songs.

Village People is a bunch of gay people dancing and singing repetitive disco music.

I'm not denying MJ was good but he the nose thing and the law suit kinda discourages a person or at least it did me. Besides Village People will always be the best (Y-M-C-A) and it even has a better dance!

MJ back in his hayday was outstanding. Thriller being the best album and Smooth Criminal which has the best pop video of all time. MJ for the win!

and have you ever seen the dance steps MJ does in his shows and videos? that YMCA dance doesnt even come close to being better
Judging by how someone looks is unjustified if it's out of their hands, but in this case MJ has mutilated himself to look like this, which makes it completely justified to deride and jeer at him.

But see it's not like he's still out there today doing music. If his songs come on the radio you don't see him. If his music video for say Smooth Criminal comes on he still looks somewhat normal. If you go and buy Thriller he looks like..
And girls thought that was hot back in the 80's and cute in the 70's.
And even in his current look it's still better than a couple guys who look like they just came from a gay pride celebration.
If a Village People song comes on during a sporting event I'm ok with it. If i'm doing Karaoke then ok. But when they come on the radio I flip the channel. I don't do that with Jacko's music.

yeah...they're worse... MJ was atleast seen as cool at one point in time. And judging by the amount of people who still go gaga over him even today they still think he is. Village People for the most part have always been seen as a joke.
Besides I grew up with a somewhat normal MJ. When I hear his music I picture the way he looked at the time the song was done. Well except for Black and White...Then I just think of Tommy Davidson doing a parody of MJ with "Black or White" in In Living Color.
I don't know. He raises the same sort of feelings senile people do in me. They're these sad shells of people that used to have something going for them, but now they're just withering away, like walking corpses from which you can barely make out what they used to be.
