Well, as my grandfather remarked, the sort of guy who can succeed, if only he tries, is a guy who can't succeed unless he does try.

I was never particularily a student with good grades, even if I did manage to get accepted to a pretty good private university in Japan (Keio University, Faculty of Law), which I quit after a year. I'm a college student again after that particular lapse and I'm pretty happy with the material I'm learning. Though the deadlines keep slipping through my fingers, and game theory will be the death of me.
