You're microwaving it on high? It'll be completely soggy. Microwave it for a longer time on a lower effect and the bread won't get the consistency of a wet sock.

    Eris' reinforced concrete.

    Warning, your results may vary.

    Requirements:
    Instant noodles.
    Instant potato mash.

    Preparation:
Cook instant noodles according to instructions.
Pull the pot off the stove.
Add instant mash and stir until consistency is like that of butter.
    Eat.

    Nutritional value: None.
    Price: Cheap as hell.
Taste: Varies with noodle seasoning. Some are actually pretty good, others are less pleasant.

When you cook corn on the cob. Put less than half a stick of butter, a few shakes of salt and sugar into one bowl and microwave it till the butter melts...

Then pour it onto the corn when done
The corn taste better.. Learned that in history class for a project I had to do.

The class had to eat it. Surprisingly everyone ate it all and actually liked it.

There used to be a little fast food chain called "Orange Julius" that sold this drink, hence the name.

    ORANGE JULIUS

    1/4 cup Sugar
1 6oz frozen orange juice concentrate
    1 cup milk
    1 cup water
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    10 ice cubes

Mix together in blender to desired consistency.

You'll thank me for this one...

    Default Hot Eggs

This is my recipe for a quickie but, rather spicy breakfast.

    2 large Eggs
Meat of your choice (anything will work hell, even bugs, chopped mind you)
Hot Sauce of your choice ( I suggest the Habanero sauce....lol)
cooking spray or one teaspoon of olive oil

Hardware: frying pan, mixing bowl, fork, bowl, spatula of your choice
    1. Oil the pan and heat it at medium high.(stove, DUH!)
    2. Meanwhile, mix the eggs along with the meat.
    3. now that is done, cook the eggs( I reckon scrambled or omelet style).
    4. While your cooking, salt the eggs (I use Kosher salt)[not thoroughly salted, just a pinch or two]
    5. Put the egg mixture into a bowl
    6. Drizzle with hot sauce OR you can also add shredded cheese(optional)
    7. ENJOY!!!!111

This gives me ideas. Can't say they're good either. Will and I are going to have fun now *trying* to cook.

    Anywho, here's one.

    Hardcore Sandwhich

    What you need-

    Salami
    Liverwurst
    Potatoe Chips
    Pretzels
    Mustard
    White bread

    WHAT YOU DO! -

FIRST place the salami on the bun
Put liverwurst on top of that
    Put some mustard on that
THEN you put on the potatoe chips on the mustard covered liverwurst
    Pretzels on the chips
    More Mustard

    DONE, it's delicious.

Ok I guess it’s my turn to share.

    Lasagna Big Boy Style

Well this isn’t simple, but I will try to keep it simple.
    Seasonings:
    Italian seasoning (2-4 table spoons)
Garlic (to taste 1 table spoon)
    Pepper (taste)
Accent or salt, or both (to taste)
    Vegetables:
2 tomatoes deiced or a can of diced tomatoes
    1 onion diced
½ garlic clove minced/graded, or 1 table spoon of minced garlic in a jar (you can get it from walmart)
    Mushrooms (I use portabella about ½ -1 1/2 lbs)
    Meat:
3 lbs of ground beef (cooked in full in another container cross contamination can kill)
    Cheeses
    2 ½ lbs of mozzarella
    45 oz of ricotta cheese
1 cup of gadded parmesan cheese
    Other
Lasagna 2 boxes ready to bake (boiling them is a pain)
    3-4 jars of spaghetti sauce

    Instructions

In one frying pan, cook ground beef, to brown.
In sauce pan, I use a 3 gallon one. Put 3 jars of the spaghetti sauce in set to simmer.
Then add the minced garlic, onions, mushrooms, diced tomatoes,
Allow to simmer, stir constantly for 5 min after it starts to simmer.
Then add the COOKED beef, stir, and allow to simmer.
    Then season to taste.

I use a turkey pan, but you can use anything from a 13x9x4 in pan and up.
Spray it with Pam, then put a small layer of spaghetti sauce on the bottom.
Then a layer of Lasagna, cover the area of the pan.
Add a layer of spaghetti sauce, then another layer of Lasagna, then a layer of mozzarella cheese then Lasagna, then sauce with ricotta cheese, then Lasagna, then mozzarella, then Lasagna, sauce then Lasagna follow until pan if full, then a layer of mozzarella, ricotta, and parmesan on the top.
Now I add some Italian seasoning to the surface cheese to give it some texture.
Now you MUST place ALUMIUM FOIL on the top to keep the cheese from drying and burning.
Allow bake at 450 F until the Lasagna can be penetrated by a fork about 30-45 min.
[my stuff] I make my sigs.
When one bad reps, its a common curtsy to leave one's name. So one can return the favor, in kind.
[It is your responsibility to keep up the the Magna not mine, so don't be mad at me if you "think" this gives something away.]

My Fried Rice (Unli style'd yo):
I didn't estimate its quantity, but...

    Mashed Garlic
    Mashed Onions
    Boiled Rice
    chopped Onion
    Soy Sauce
Chicken concentrated cubes (i don't have the slightest hell on what you call it there)
    other vegetables if desired.
    Vegetable Oil

    utensils:
    Large Wok

Steps (or just follow your own steps)
    Oil the wok up.
Fry up the vegetables along with the garlic and onions and chicken cubes. (preferably, till the onion is transparent)
    Fry the rice.
Apply the soy sauce (and other seasonings)
Fry till the rice turn a bit golden-browny and you're done.

I like mine with some white pepper and black pepper. So yeah *_*

    Hobo Stew

    Ingrediants-
    Potatos
    Carrots
    Onions
Frozen pre-made meat patties or pakage ground meat.
    Salt
    Pepper
    Ketchup
    Foil

    How to-
Get a large piece of foil and spread it out on a flat surface. Then, chop the potatos, carrots, and onions and set them aside for a moment. Then, you tear the meat of your choice into chunks and put it on the foil. It doesnt matter if the pieces touch, just put them in the center of the foil. After the meat is in place, you dump however much of the veggies you want onto the top of the meat. Put salt, pepper, and ketchup on top of that. Fold the foil up and crumple so its closed. Let it cook on the grill or a dying camp fire until done. Peel open foil and enjoy. *

I can't remember the guy's name that came up with this recipe, but it's most definitely one of my favourites!

    Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
    Ingredients:
    2 cups mashed banana
    1 tablespoon grated orange rind
    1/3 cup orange juice
    3 eggs
    1/3 cup vegetable oil
    2 1/2 cups flour
    1 cup chocolate chips
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
    2 Large bowls

    Directions:
In one bowl, blend bananas, orange rind, & juice. Beat in eggs. Stir in sugar & oil. In second bowl mix flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and finally toss in chocolate chips. Add gradually to first bowl until well blended. Pour into 2 large greased loaf pans or 4 smaller ones. Bake in the oven at 350F for 45-55 or until tester comes out clean (well, mostly clean as the chocolate chips tend to melt).
Let cool in pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove and cool completely
(assuming you can keep people away from it that long!)
    Enjoy! ^__^

(I'll try to find one of my pizza recipes, but I've not made one from scratch in ages...I tend to cheat using a tin of refrigerated biscuit dough and a tin of tomato sauce and whatever I want on the pizza).

Orange Sauce That Has Nothing to Do With The Fruit

    Get a dip sized bowl.

    Two Spoons of Mayonaise
    Two Spoons of Ketchup
    Two Spoons of Mustard
Your desired amount of hot sauce, if you want some kick to it.

    Instructions:

    1. Put that in a bowl
    2. Stir it.
    3. Enjoy.

Eat it with Fries or chicken fingers, it's just about godly.

    Ramen Mush (aka Munchie Ramen)
    3 Packs of Ramen
A Pot of Boiling Water, how much doesn't really matter. Use your common sense
    One cube of Chicken Bullion
    Patience
    The Munchies
A Controlled Substance that required you to want to eat this

    Instructions:

    Ok, it's simple.

Put the water on the stove, on high
Add the chicken bullion until it dissolves
wait until the water boils if it hasn't already
    Add the noodles
Boil away the water. All of it. No seriously, wait a long time until ALL the water is boiled away, but the noodles are nice and moist
    Add the Noodle Seasoning
    Stir.
Put it in a big giant bowl, give your munchie afflicted friends some forks and do work.

    Phil's Make-Food-At-Lunch-Time-Edible-If-It-Really-Sucks-Bad/Pink Sauce

    What you need:

    Ranch
    Hot Sauce
    A Bowl

If you can procure that at school, you're good. Just put it in a bowl and stir. It's pink, it's good, it's amazing on fries.

Phil's Burn a hole in your god damned stomach salad.

    What you need:

    Salad
    Balsamic Vinegar
    Garlic Salt
    Ranch or Caesar

    Here's what you do:

Put some salad in a big plastic bowl, preferably one with a lid that snaps shut like a tupperware lid
Add a healthy amount of Garlic Salt
Add a bit of Caesar or Ranch dressing
Add a crap ton of balsamic vinegar
put the lid on the bowl
    shake it alot
    Eat it
    Enjoy it

If you have an iron stomach, you'll be fine.

    Destroy-Your-Sphincter-Boneless-Hot-Wings

    What you Need:

Some instant Hot wings, like the cold kind that you microwave in the supermarket. They should be boneless
    Some Habenero Sauce
Cayenne Pepper Hot Sauce (Generic Red Hot Sauce)
    Habanero Doritos
    No Fear of Death

    Cook your hot wings.
Drench it with Red Hot Sauce
Drench it With Habanero Hot Sauce
Get your Habenero Doritos and Crunch them up and put a healthy dose in the hot wings
Close the Hot Wings lit and shake it up (Like Shake N' Bake)
    Good Luck.

My mother had a variation on that she called "foil wrap dinners." Very similar, only she would use these onion soup packets in place of ketchup. It acts like a tasty gravy. Very nice. Works well with chicken too ^^ She liked that they could be tailored to precisely what everyone likes best. I liked chicken and lots of carrots. My brother and sisters preferred meat and more potatoes.

    Good stuff.

Highly modified version of my Grandma's secret recipe. Feel free to switch out some of the Habanero cheese bricks for Extra Sharp Cheddar, but keep in mind that the Bleu and cream cheese will counter most of the heat/and or sharpness. It's a versatile recipe. Substitute the Hot Sauce, and Habanero Cheese for ham bits, onion soup mix, and Baby Swiss bricks and you have a Ham and Onion Ball.
Ehhh, I dunno if I'll stick around. We'll see.

The only "original" recepie I can think of off the top of my head is passed down from my grandma.

    SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE

    Ingredients:

2 Medium cans Sweet Potatos (I don't know what "medium" can is, so I use 1 48oz can and one of the smaller ones)
    2 Large eggs, beaten
    4 Tbs melted butter (unsalted)
    1 tsp Vanilla
    1/2 Cup sugar
    1/2 tsp Kosher salt
    1/2 cup raisins
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup flour
2 Tbs cold butter (again, unsalted)
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

    Tools needed:

    Casserole dish
Oven capeable of 350*F and space for casserole dish

    Useful tools:

    potato masher
    seperate bowls/dishes for mixing
shortening cutter? (it's been a loooong time since cooking class)
    food processor
    fork
    spatula
and other obvious, common kitchen gadgets

    Procedure:

    Preheat oven to 350*F

Mix eggs, sugar, melted butter, vanilla and salt, then add to a large bowl with the potatos and mash together. Stir in raisins, then spread into ungreased casserole dish. In a seperate bowl, mix Brown sugar and flour, then cut in the 2Tbs cold butter and stir in pecans/walnuts. Sprinkle overtop of the potato mixture as evenly as possible, then bake in oven at 350*F for 35-40 minutes.

Allow to cool for about 10 minutes, this isn't a part of the recepie but that's all I let it sit for.

    Spoon out to serve.

Judging by the replies so far, it's probably safe to assume most of you can't cook, so ask your mommy to whip this up one of these days instead.

Other than that pretty much all of my recepies come from Alton Brown. Episodes can be found on YouTube, this guy seems to have a lot of them:

    http://www.youtube.com/user/LikeTheHat

Actually, this talk of food has gome and made me hungry, so here's something that I'm currently about to whip up, perfect for everyone else here I'd assume:

    IMPROVED STOVETOP RAMEN

    Ingredients:

3 packages chicken flavored ramen instant noodles
1 package Birdseye microwave steam bag mixed vegetables

    Procedure:

Boil ramen as per instructions on back, and yes add the seasoning packet. Meanwhile, put mixed vegies into microwave and cook via instructions on package. Once both are done, pour vegies into ramen, mix, and consume. For fewer dishes to clean consume strait out of pan.

    1. Frozen Strawberries
    2. Frozen Bananas (Peeled, you idiot)
    3. Soy milk
    4. Cranberry juice
    5. About 5-7 icecubes

Blend it up, tastes amazing, thicker than molasses and good for you.

    -Another one-

Put some tinfoil over a baking pan, add a layer of nachos. Grate up some cheese (ALOT of cheese, use a whole brick of it) and sprinkle a cups worth of the cheese over the nachos. Add another layer of nachos, more cheese. Just rinse and repeat until desired amount. Then shove 'er in the oven.

My father's infamous chili XD It's a great recipe, but on its own it is rather spicy (I like that) and meaty. When I last made it I did it vegetarian style, adding more veggies in place of meat. My father has made it with both ground turkey and chicken, as his wife doesn't eat red meat. Remove the hot peppers for more sweet if you don't care for spiciness.

This is for a large amount. Scale back as necessary. Though it freezes well, if you'd prefer.

    2 pounds ground beef
    6 medium carrots, chopped
    2 large onions, thinly sliced
    3 stalks celery, chopped
    2 large sweet peppers, sliced
3 or 4 assorted hot peppers, sliced
1 (16 oz) can kidney beans, drained
1 (16 oz) can pink or red beans, drained
1 (28 oz) can plum or whole tomatoes
1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
    2 cloves garlic, minced
4 to 8 tablespoonfuls chili powder
    1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 to 1 teaspoon cayenne or paprika
    2 bay leaves
    1/2 cup frozen corn kernels
8 tablespoonfuls vegetable oil (olive is best)

In large pan, stir fry garlic, hot and sweet peppers in olive oil
until tender; remove from pan and set aside. In the same pan, saute
onions, carrots and celery over medium heat until tender; remove from
    pan and set aside.

In the same pan, brown ground beef and drain off most of the fat (the
more fat you leave in, the hotter the chili). Stir in chili powder,
cumin and cayenne, then add both cans of tomatoes and bay leaves,
heating until bubbling. Reduce heat and simmer at least an hour. Add
both cans of beans and simmer another hour. Add corn, simmer for a
third hour or more. Stir occasionally to avoid scorching. Serve with
rice or crackers or by itself with onions or topping.

I also made a very tasty tomato and mozzarella pizza the other night. Little bit of sauce, lots and lots of diced up fresh tomato, and slices of mozzarella. I pre-cooked the crust a little so I wouldn't have to have the tomato and cheese in the oven long. Just until the cheese melted. Add basil for a really nice, margarita-like taste.
