Screw it. $35(At our school) * 2 (People. Usually the guy pays all. -_-) = A new game!
That, and the military ball for my JROTC was only $20 per person. And much better.

I've never been to prom, and I probably never will. :[
Oh, Hi-deeki, imagine... your kind not eating raw fish! ^_^

Mine was a little expensive and boring; I only went because my grandmother, who came just for the ocassion, wanted to meet my friends and teachers.

Prom= Last festivity during highschool?
Er... get drunk.
That reminds me, I still have a high-heel shoe that belonged to some lady at a prom once and I never took it back to her. Well, it might have been something to do with the fact that she was riding a Giant pumpkin so I never bothered. What a freak.

I never went to my prom, as I had nobody to go with. ^^
It's not really my kind of thing anyways.
I will maybe go, I have a dress and everything. Looks very neat in it^^ Want to go with my special someone but can't do that because we dont go at the same school, so if I will go it will be with my friends. They are very cute and friendly so I wouldnt mind dancing with them if they ask me to. ^___^ Hope that some cute boys will go aswell (have some male friends that for example will maybe go^_^) and I also hope that I will not get to drunk if I go, because I want to remember some. Heard that last year it was a girl that became so drunk that she wasnt even permissible to get in. embarrassing lolz

Meh... I didn't go to my high school's prom last year and I'm not going to this year's one either. I hate it how the person I really want to take is half a world away. Plus, you have to dance too. I can't dance.

Ehhh I'm not going. Too busy that weekend.
Next year, though. :] All seniors should go to their prom. ; D
Prom #1: My first one was at a different high school and probably the least fun. I went with my boyfriend at the time. He rented a limo for just the two of us and we had dinner at the Space Needle. The prom itself was some fancy club next to the water. Afterwards he took me to Lake Washington to look at the view, where he gave me a dozen roses. I broke up with him the next day.
Prom #2: I went with a group of people from another high school (my date was this guy I practiced tennis with), I only knew two people in it but I still had fun. We went to a place called Wild Ginger, an upscale Chinese restaurant. I would have preferred some REAL greasy Chinese food in Chinatown but this was good too. We got a private room there. The prom itself was at some weird Marine Museum at the piers... that had a dance floor? I dunno, it wasn't the best place for a prom but kinda neat. I think we went bowling after. I don't remember.
Prom #3: Best prom, and this last one was at my school. I went with my boyfriend at the time and a group of friends. I did the planning. We rented a limo for a reasonable price. We went to Benihana's which is a Japanese steak house that does fancy tricks and performs as they make your food. Afterwards the limo driver surprised us and took us to this hill where we got an AWESOME view of the Seattle skyline as the sun was setting. It was romantic/beautiful. The prom was at the Experience Music Project, THAT was cool. Most of the museum was open to us and the dance floor was technologically up to date and fancy shmancy. Afterwards we went to our friends house. I know it sounds lame but his mom put together a scavenger hunt and the losing team had to buy the winner food at Denny's (this was to deter us from drinking of course). It was surprisingly a lot of fun, it involved going to three different cities, a camcorder to prove that you did your deeds... I don't remember the specifics, but I do remembering running into the opposing team's car and TPing their ride. That prom was perfect.
Lesson: It is more fun to go with a group whether you have a boyfriend/girlfriend or not.

I never go to the prom. It just doesn't interest me in the slightest. Honestly, I couldn't care less for it, but that's just me.^^;
I'm going, since it's my senior year and all. Last year I went with my now ex-boyfriend, and it was during the time he was going psycho. I'm hoping that this year will be better, but I already think I'm in a pretty bad situation when it comes to my prom date.
Do you believe it in your head?
Prom is not for me. I don't like the fancy dresses you have to wear to impress people. If they like you, you can just wear jeans and a shirt.
The purpose of prom isn't to impress people... and I can assure you no one is THAT self conscious about themselves for the people who do go. Its about having fun with your friends in a last, big hurrah before everyone goes away to college.

I am going to prom and I'm pretty excited. I have my dress already. We're planning to get there by a limo and then have a huge after-prom party. =D
This is more than just a place for my things
It says who I am, where I've been, how I feel
This piece is far more than shelves and fine lines
It brings balance & serenity to a chaotic world
What you see is more than just functional form
It's a well-designed window that
looks in on my soul

Ehh, I have Prom this year. REally I hate dances. So I'm not going. Waste of money and time. Plus the person I'd want to take can't go.
I didn't go to my Senior Prom. I did go to my girlfriend's Senior Prom two years later and generally had a good time. But I still don't really regret missing my Senior Prom...
To the person who complained about the 35 bucks I hope you die in a hole.
285$ to actually be able to go, 200$ for the Limo, 79$ for the Tux and 50$ for the top hat I just had to have >_>
But yeah, Prom's gonna be epic. Not as epic as I want though, I was gonna get twisted but my girlfriend does not approve haha.

All The Ways You Wish Could Be? That's me
I went to mine some time ago, I went with a mate of mine. (we were actually dates) We were in the couple's section, it was quite funny being a Christian school and all. All the parents were shocked when they were looking at the college book, seing the photos of us. All out mates thought it was hilarious and I was considered a legend for accepting the dare. I didn't even think it was tough at all.

Oh I loved the proms at my high school. It was the only time I could dress up in beautiful gowns and be like a princess. And plus my friends were there, so I'd just grab her and we'd start dancing while everyone was looking at us funny. We didn't care. But, most of the time, me and my date/s were friends and nothing more. Only once did one of my date/s actually turn into a romance. But I love prom, and I would give anything to go back. I loved them so much I went 5 times, wish I could make it 6. ^^
My old school is having one in May and some of my 6th form friends might invite me so that I can go and see them all again! ^_^

Oh yes I am going. This is my first prom (sophomore) being invited by my senior boyfriend. Theme is Imperial Ball. I was hoping for it to be like a masquerade ball. Sounds much more exciting and mysterious. It's being held at a beaitufl place. I'm so excited. One week to go!
