What do you guys think of this game? From my point of view, it's actually more scarier than Bioshock. And I thought Bioshock was scary, F.E.A.R. actually makes you have nightmares. Anyways, tell me what you guys think of this scary game. :3

Alma scares the crap out of me every time I see her during gameplay. I cant't wait for "Project Origin" to be released

One of the scariest games I've played, I found myself talking to my TV "I know you're around the corner so don't even try to scare me *turns corner* Yea! That's what I thought! You got nothing on m.. OMG WTF WAS THAT!!!111!!!"

A very creepy game indeed. I'm looking forward to Project Origin. But I still need to finish the first game, I'm pretty far into it though.

Even though there are some horrifying genre's still unexplained, even though fear should be distinguished from anxiety, an emotion that often arises out of proportion to the actual threat or danger involved, and can be subjectively experienced without any specific attention to the threatening object. However, this fear is a different FEAR.

Determining the walkthroughs on different maps, levels, and guns..Did I mention guns, every corner awaits a small girl named, "Alma" and trust me..She's scary, she's not a cool girl. It's either A.) You're being chased down by evil psychopathic brainstorming machine's or soldiers, and guns. Did I of course mention guns again?

However, this isn't the scariest game of all time. There are more genre's that need to be explain I'll list them down.

Silent Hill:

Silent Hill is a survivor horror genre, (Yes, and a mansion). Franchises developed and published by Konami. As of 2007, most installments have been created by Team Silent with the exception of two titles, Silent Hill: 0rigins, which was developed by Climax Studios, and Silent Hill: Homecoming being developed by The Collective from Foundation 9 Entertainment.

Gameplay includes frequent horror elements, action, various puzzles, detailed and disturbing environments, chilling background music provided by composer Akira Yamaoka, and a complex storyline revealed through numerous cinematic cut scenes and in-game documents and notes, and guns.

Alone in the Dark:

Even though this is the tenth scariest game in all time submitted by X-play, I disagree. It is the ninth scariest game of all time. Even though it takes place in a role as "Edward Carnby" sent by an antique dealer, I forgot her name..

Players can consist if they wanted to change their character either male of female, and they're..Yes..You said it, "Mansions" they're stuck inside a mansion and you must solve puzzles, riddles, and guns to solve the mystery of Jeremy's hanging incident, (I think we know what we're going with this, yes?)

Condemned Criminal Origins:

Developed by Sega, and published for Xbox 360. Players take the role of Ethan Thomas, a SCU agent (Serial Crime Unit investigator that uses forensic tools) who becomes trapped in the condemned sections of a fictional American city named "Metro City" while hunting a serial killer, either being chased by psychopathic killers, and creepy cinematic along with creepy environment tone, and yes guns, you can either use guns, or as a environment as for weapons like a steel metal pipe, an axe, or a two-by-four planked wood.

I can go on for days enlisting the games, but lets just put that as a minimum of my favorite game genres.

I did enjoy this game and it made me jump a few times. My boyfriend and my brother are both not easily scared, well my bro finished it and my boyfriend switched it off and put the game in the attic.

I really liked the subtle horror of FEAR and the whole story about Alma (sweet little girl she is, isn´t she?).
It´s not like most horror games. It´s more up to imagination which makes it scary.
Extraction point was scary as hell (the mission in the hospital lol)

But I´ve most enjoyed the good gunfights, the AI is very good.

Oh yessss....Project Origin. Can´t wait to play it.

I loved that game, but the stages tend to get a little tedious around the middle, especially since the grunts are all basically the same. Those giant robot-suits are cool, though: the funnest moment was when I managed to take one down with just those dual-pistols after some considerable effort.

My favorite part was when you're trapped in a hall and elevators keep arriving packed with drone soldiers. Those proximity mines are gruesomely effective :3

Someone on niconico did a speedrun on extreme difficulty that was pretty hilarious. He kicks most of the enemies to death and often outruns most of those spooky things.
