[Aura of the Twilight]

History:
Planet Earth in the year 2012 A.D., on December 31st, the G-Day as it is now called; the day when the world entered it's own nightmare of darkness and chaos. The world and its inhabitants were living normally while scientific experiments on human Geno Gene experiments were being performed in the countries of the U.S.A., Japan, France, and Germany. The Geno Gene is a gene that was suspected to be what limited the human body, and had influence on our brains. The scientists of the counrties that were appointed positions on the experiments were trying to manipulate the genes to enable humans to have super human talents.
The project was known as "Project Gen", when Project Gen first started off the tests were performed on subjects of elderly, middle aged, teenagers, and infants, even though it was against humanitary rights. The elderly subjects all died in a matter of days of the experiments begining, and two out of three of the middle aged did not long after the elderly, 1 out of 6 teenagers died after three months of exposure to experiments and infiants had the lowest death rate with only 1 out of 10 dying. After about 11 years of testing, the countries had no longer any deaths and a variety of positive results, from teenagers recieving telekenetic abilities super strength and other super human powers, infants showed similar results although were not able to speak as a side effect of direct testing, middle aged and elderly received the mentioned abilities plus were able to reverse their aging at will.

Now the scientists thought it was safe to release the Geno Gene. So on December 31, 2012, G-Day, they released the gene into the atmosphere, but something went wrong in the process, When the Geno Gene entered the atmosphere and fell back to earth it mutated more then was expected of humans and even mutated the earth causing volcanic eruptions and earth quakes, completely changing the land masses. Almost momentarily half of the worlds population of people 30 and above died. Teenagers, children and young adults became slightly hostile, for weeks the world was at war with itself as the mutations took place, then everything died down. When interaction was held again the Earth was no longer inhabited by just humans. People of all ages were now mythical entities, before only exsisting in the books of dark novels and imaginations. People where lusting for blood and craving to howl to the moon, they were now Vampires and Werewolves that inherited all of the abilities and weaknesses told in the stories of Stoker's Fable "Dracula" and many others. Although, the whole world was not turned into one or the other. Geno people existed as well, people who were mutaited how they were originally palnned to be, now granted compared to werewolves and Vampires they were a minority, but still they were there, people who could control elements, bend objects with their minds, read minds, run at high speeds, or inherited some other genes. Finally were the minute almost non existing 2% of the populations that were humanoids, humanoids were basically the humans unaffected, no longer called just human for the possibility that they were affected and just haven't shown it.

That all happened seventeen years ago, now it's 2030, the world now segregates itself from eachother. Vampires mainly living with Vampires, Werewolves with Werewolves, and Humanoids and Geno People live together. The Vampire Nation and Werewolf Nation are continuously at eachother's throats for power and are constantly praying on the Geno People and Humanoids for food and other needs such as slavery. There are a small amount of Vampires and Werewolves that are less racial and aggressive than others, and they stand as points of trade for the races. Now it seems, though, as if the leaders of the Geno People and Humanoids are about to attempt to wage a war on that of one of the majority races. The leaders of the Geno People are original test subjects of the Geno Gene that have the most knowledge and power. Some are now old, some are now middle aged, and some are now teens, all hold amazing abilities, the same could be said for the Vampire and Werewolf Nations, the strongest and wisest are the leaders, although they aren't one nation as the Geno People and Humanoids are, but are more like clans that are lead induvidually.

Power(s): Psychokenetic Powers and Music Emotion Interaction (rare ability that allows the user to use music to influence other beings' feelings)
Weapon(s): two pistols that are black and holistered one to each hip
Personality: Atsui has a calm and quiet personality. She is a very passive and extremely shy girl and is seen as being cold because of it. She doesn't mind traveling with other but is hardly ever seen doing so because of her first impression on everyone.
Bio: Atsui was the third baby to be experimented on when the Geno Gene was still in secret experimentation, so because of the side affects of the experiments she's never said a word in her life. She never got the chance to meet her parents, but knows that they were both killed on G-Day. Atsui has never had any friends and therefore isn't very good with interactig with other people, which earned her her title "Atsui the Lonely". She is a very skilled Telepath, and because of her rare ability, was offered a spot on the high council of the Geno People, but she turned it down for fear that people would expect too much of her, and she would let everyone down, although most don't think that the reason. Now she lives in the Human/Geno people territory of what was once Tokyo, Japan.
Tidbits: was one of the original infants that was experimented on, so she doesn't speak. She loves sweets, and is very felxible but nothing that a normal humanoid couldn't do with enough practice.

Weapon(s): a sword that when he has with him is sheathed to his left hip.
Personality: Alec is a very determined guy, and very close minded as well. He thinks that all races other than Vampire are inferior and should submit to the vampire race. Despite this fact he still believes in some aspects of chivalry and treats women of different races much better than men.
Bio: Alec was mutated when the Geno Gene was released into the air when he was young. Since then he has live with his father, a powerful vampire, who is high up in the rankings of vampires. He was raised to absolutely hate Werewolves, but be a gentleman to women of everyother race. His father died when he was seventeen and since then he has become a member of the high vampire council just like his father did.

Personality: optomistic and upbeat, Plensta is also a scientific think and is always doing something to keep herself busy. She's kind and caring and will help anyone in need.
Bio: Born in Austria, Plensta was a normal child and lived her life in the same fashion, normally. She graduated college with degrees in journalism and fashion design. She was a famous critigue of the fashion world before G-Day. Plensta is generally trying to keep telling her fellow Humanoids that they can still live happily if they try hard enough.
Tidbits: is a speaker of Humanoids, has and intres in the original subjects of the Geno Gene.

Name: Samael (hebrew for Blind God) the Demiurge (the demiurge refers to the Gnostic Archon which created the sinful reality we exist in and prevents humans from obtaining the true reality of pleromaic relalignment. )

Power(s): Madness Anchor (brings a purely irrational creation into existance which bends reality around him... demi-souls (souls that don't truly exist and thus float in a torturous state of semiexistance) fly around tearing at the minds of those around him)

Banshee wail - summons a demi-soul which he tortures until it releases a scream so harrowing it can tear the souls of the weak willed from their bodies

Soul drain- if he touchs his oppoent he can drain their will, once there will breaks their soul becomes vulnerable.

(this next one isn't a power, as in something that affects battle so i don't know if it counts for the 3)

Time Reversal - Samael is aging in reverse. As time passes he keeps getting younger and younger looking and eventually his soul will return to the void of non-existance

Personality: Normally he as a calm, gentle, almost noble air to him. He is kind to those in need and respectful to others. However, their is something off putting about him, something that reeks of madness that no one can quite put their finger on. When he fights though, when he faces a 'bad blood' in battle he goes crazy, spew random words and gibbering in raw madness. He is vicious and merciless against those who are not pure blooded humans, who he calls 'mistakes'.

He is a genius of the highest order... this is not something he gained from the Geno Gene but something he possessed before. He has seemingly infinite knowledge about the human body.
Bio: Samael was one of the scientists who discovered and tested the Geno Gene however, he was against its use, citing "Instability in uncontrolled environments." However, he was voted down. Seeing no point in fighting the process pointlessly he worked with the others and came up with what he would be a more stable version. However, the product was rushed out and the rest is history.

The scientist were all effect and Samael, seeing the devastation, fell into grief. Blaming himself for what happened, he pulled inward for years, sitting alone in the wilderness, eating only seldom and just staring at nothing. During this time he lost his sanity. Eventually he took it upon himself to fix the wrongs that had been wrote. He hunted down a destroyed the souls of the scientist that had made the gene in punishment for their being involved with its creation. He know seeks to try and kill every single Geno, Vampire and Werewolf, meticulously traveling the world, hunting them down with deliberate speed. However, he must hurry, for his body grows young by the day and soon he will no longer be able to fight and eventually his soul will die, going back to unbreing

Powers: After Image Reflex: He can create after images of himself. This is used for retreat or to confuse the enemy. It does put a toll on Ryou because his legs can't take the speed that is used to create them.
Telekinetic/Gravity Control: Meaning he can move things with his mind. He can also crush them, or reshape them. He likes to call it " The Force". He does sometimes use it on himself to release the gravity on his body.
Time Control: He can stop time around his body. It isn't really time control but those around him don't know that. He is only using his mind to bend time, and gravity around his body to slow the bodies and reaction speeds of those around him.
Weapons: Gravity Lance: It is used with his power of gravity to decrease or increase. It is also a outlet for his Telekinetic powers. It can be broken into two parts were a katana long blade is formed as a high powered focused blade of light. It can cut through most forms of matter, and can be combined to make one saber that looks like a nodachi. He also wears twin gauntlets. Their purpose isn't really known at this time.
Personality: Silent, and blank. He doesn't smile, grin or show any form of pain or sorrow. He is just their a blank slate.
Bio: His parents were born in Japan. His father was a solider, and his mother a combat nurse. Both were weak and very sick. They both died at different times. His father died in battle. He was trying to protect some villagers from bandits and was killed. His mother was killed when the "changes" began. He was pick before but soon it got better and she was back to her healthy self. Then three months later she died. Ryou found her dead in her bed. Her room was in ruin. It was like someone with a huge hand had started to crush the room. Ryou does to this day think about that day. He had a nightmare and was dreaming of his mother being crushed. Now he never speaks. He doesn't understand what is going on. He now wanders around.

Personality: A strong silent type he speaks rarely and usually only to ask if anyone can help him get around other then that he wont speak
Bio: On G-day Viper grew to his current height gained all these strange ablities and confused about what was happening around the world. Living alone in some of the most hidden areas of the world Viper began training himself to fight using his own power. After the first 10 years of living alone he somehow managed to walk into a villiage of other Geno's. Falling to the ground crying because this was the first time he has seen a single person Viper tries to speak but nothing but grunts came out. As he spent the next couple of monthes learning how to talk and learning what was happening. Ater he finally understood what was happening Viper began to sell himself to people as protection.
Tidbits: Speaks very little but whenever he is usually seen he is working for some group.

Power(s): vampire abilities (such as accelerated speed, strength, etc.), telepathy.
He has this high-pitched laugh that can cause one to go insane and make their ears bleed.
Weapon(s): long black chain
Personality: A quiet boy. He'll help one out if he finds that if has the energy but if he doesn't he'll ignore the person in need. He secretly plots his enemies demises in his head, or someone he doesn't like. He usually wears a bored and non-caring expression on his face but when hes glaring intensly at someone, it's a sign that his mind is working out the trap for a perfect kill. Sometimes he can be prideful and he doesn't allow anyone to stomp on his pride. Insults lead to instant death, forget the planning. He's also very independent, only trusting himself and no one else.
Bio: Aurel was affected by the Geno Gene when he was two years old. His parents were obviously killed by the gene and he was left in the care of some other vampires who he never got close to. He was on his own when he was ten, feasting on any easy to catch animals that didn't look diseased. These days he's looking for the taste of human blood but not literally searching for it though he is looking out for one of those rare humanoids. He tends to avoid the werewolves but if he is put in a situation where they are unavoidable, he is determined to fight to the death.

Appearence:
Power(s): transform into the form of a werewolf (which is large and white) by will. He is quick as a human but slow as a werewolf. He can use voice commands to use his powers without lifting a finger. The commands he has mastered are:
"Shatter"- it can collapse one's mind if the person is not mentally strong. It can shatter objects as well.
"Break"- designated bones in the person's body will automatically snap in two. It can be used on objects as well.
"Tear"- tears limbs, can be used on objects.
"Fly"- throw anything several feet backwards.
Know that these only work on you if you allow them to.
Weapon(s): none
Personality: He's someone who will always have somthing to say in the appropriate situation. He is frail as a human but beastly and unbelievable strong as a werewolf, which he uses as a last restort. He isn't violent but he isn't completely innocent either. He's completely honest about his feelings and pouts rather easily. He acts childish sometimes but he's rather devious when it comes to serious matters that requires his wit. Because he's so honest, he can easily hurt people's feelings but he never really apologizes for that because of his pride and he hates admitting that he's wrong or has done wrong. He's decently benevolent.
Bio: When the whole genetic transformation happened, he was living in England with his uncle, having been orphaned at the age of 4. His uncle died of course and Elric was old enough to live on his own. His accent was still strong when he moved to America so it was hard to no attract attention. But he made it none-the-less and now he's a novelist who's inspiration is the "calamity", as he refers to it, happening around him. He spends his days writing and his nights having fun in clubs and such.
Tidbit: Very easily amused.

Name: Chronos (also known as: Aeon the Hellfire)

Height: 1, 9 meters
Race: Geno People U.S.A
Appearance:

Power(s): Next generation Pyrokinesis: the ability to set thing on fire just with the power of ones will and to manipulate, control and create fire at will. Unlike normal pyrokinesis, Aeon cretes fire by creating small amounts of anti-matter particles the cancel each other out with the matter particles creating pure energy - in this case heat/fire.

Shapeshifting: the ability to change ones general appearance and parts of body into desired look. (Cannot turn into a tree or something, only modify parts of body into stingers and so on; or transform into someone he saw or absorbed)

The ability to absorb the knowledge, skills and genetic information of anyone or anything Aeon kills.


Weapon(s): Shapeshifted body parts (only close and mid range weapons. NO range weapons).
Aeon can also summon a razor sharp “chain” from his left hand he can partially control; the chain is made from an extremely resistant alloy and can be set ablaze when needed, it is max 4 meters long and is ended with a stinger.
Personality: Chronos is an enigma. He speaks only seldom and is considered a loner.

Bio: Chronoses past is a mystery even to him. He has no memories of his childhood and therefore his life technically begun by him opening his eyes in some abandoned building. Since then he was searching the world for answers to his past. During his travels he mastered many kinds of martial arts with or without weapons and he created his own fighting style called “Gun kata” which is to use the smallest amount of moves to create the greatest deal of damage thanks to the chain and shape shifting. The Gun Kata takes the chain as the ultimate close and range combat weapon. His body is technically made out of a super dense and extremly resistant anti-matter alloy called Darksteel. He can change the alloys color and appearence thus: Shapeshift and look like a human (this state is called the Unreal state/form). Once in his original form/state, his body is pitch black and covered by strange runes and creates extreme heat all around him.

Tidbits: Chronoses true appearance (or true state as he calls it) is unknown. This look is only “current” (apart from the black part- that is how Darksteel looks)

Name: Uaithne, The Mutant
Age: 20
Height: 5'4" or 1m 63cm
Race: Mutated Geno people, America

Appearence: He has short black hair and green eyes He wears tracksuit black tracksuit bottoms and a blue t-shirt. Over thee he wears a cloak that covers his right arm comletely from view. He is skinny and looks very fragile

Power(s): His right arm is a tentacle that can obsorb information fom a target and he has the ability to affect peoples mind in such a way that they don't properly notice him. (anyone that has the ability to detect lifesigns is able to see through this)

Weapon(s): He has a dagger in his left boot and a sword slung over his shoulder.

Personality: He is a loner (a side effect of his mutated arm) and prefers to observe things from affar. He speaks very little or not at all a preferring to act rather then talk. He is very sensitive about his arm and does everthing he can to hide it often using his powers to do so. His mind can unfortunately be fragmented thanks to his arm. It is like the arm takes over sometimes and is mood could shift from preety good to killer in moments. There is also a problem with some of the information he has obsorbed as he has accidently taken on some peoples memories and some of their personality with it causing further fragmation to his mind.

Bio: He doesn't really remember a time he didn't have the mutated arm but he wishes he could being two when he developed it thanks to the project going wrong. His father went crazy upon seeing his son mutate and commited suicide. His mother was shocked and became depressed till she discovered one of her powers was the ability to create images with her mind. She used this to hide her sons arm from the world. Most saw it as tangled mess that had obviously been crushed by some boulders. Together they travelled around never staying at any community long and always leaving in the night. When Uaithne was twelve the were staying in a village that was raided by vampires. In desperatoin he descovered his ability to hide himself from others by affecting their mind. But he wasn't powerful enough to keep his mam hidden and she was taken away. He followed the vampires to where they lived. There he saw his mother drained of life. In his shock his power failed and he was found out. The vampires slaves surrounded him and brought him before the vampire that was the leader of the clan. The vampire was Eros. Eros talked to the Uaithne for some time durring which the spell on his arm broke. Eros was terrified and attacked the arm. Uaithne reacted the arm wraped around Eros's head and started to obsorb his memories. It left the vampire confused and even more terrified. His slaves and other clan members turned tail and ran. The effect on Uaithne was horrible. He saw the things the vampire had done during his life and he remebered it. To protect himself from the terror his mind fragmented. Since then he has lived with the Geno people but usually outside of the community.

Tidbits: He has more or less learned how to control his obsobtion power but sometimes the tentacle just takes over.

Personality: helpfull but yet uncaring, helps only peopele who can offer her somthing in return. a tad cold and unintrested in.

Bio: Erica was one oft he infants whom was experimented on after D-day she regained her freedom. Unlike most genopeople she does not stay in one place but likes to travel which is probely due to her wolfblood. Several werewolfs want her dead for being a halfing or other reasons same go's for the vampires. Her relation with both the genopeople and humaniods is more or less neutral.

Tidbits: chases her tail on full moon and likes to play fetch from time to time.

Nah the more posts on a sign-up the better, it (hopefully) means theres more people in it. Anyway here goes possibly my weakest character yet.

Name: Daniel Law
Age: 17
Height: average teenage height
Race:Humanoid
Appearence: has short spiky black hair and bright green eyes, he is quite stocky but not really well built. In this twisted world he has started to only wear dark clothes and is usually seen wearing baggy dark blue jeans and some form of old rock t-shirt.
Power(s): He doesn't have any powers however he is blessed with an insane amount of good luck and where as others would be crushed by a falling building (example) he would stand where the empty window slot fell.
Weapon(s): a specially made pen knife and a compact handgun.
Personality: Danny is a loud, life loving teen that hates what has happened to the world. He hates the fact that he was born just after the fateful day and wishes he could live what the elders call the good old days. He fears all vampires and werewolfs and tries to stay away from all of them. He likes the fact that he doesn't have a power as he sees powers as added worry. He makes friends quick and will never give up (think of Naruto's or Goku's personality)
Bio: Born into a family that lived deep within vampire territory he has grown up in secret in his small village. The village is in southern England and it is lucky to be placed in a small valley surrounded by woods. He grew up to alerts as vampires drew near however since he was born the village was never found and any vampires that came near were swiftly killed. Many in the village call him their lucky little boy. As he got older he realised that the world couldn't carry on like it is and as his mother fell ill he vowed to stay by her side until she passed away, then set out on a journey to stop the ongoing 'war'...

Bio: She was born in America. Her parents were promised to each others clan before they were born. She dreams to find someone she truly loves and dosen't have to put on a fake smile like her parents do. She was raised by a high class family.Which were proud of their daughter for being declared as a genius at age 5. She graduated high school at 17 and was in college by 18 already half way threw her college degree to become a doctor. When the Geno Gene reached her home, parents fell ill and died. She was left alone trying to find a place to call home.

BIO:on g day mio wakes up on the beach and instantly observes that she's deserted on a beach .as she breathes in the air hurts like there are knives stabbing her in her chest, she quickly dragges herself into ingo (the ocean) with a flick of her tail she was a mile away from where she was before.she lived alone with the fishes until a dolphin befriended her.they traveled the seas hopping to find some one of her kind but the search was hopeless. she then realised whenever she broke through the skin of ingo the air hurts as she breathes.but years later she finds some one like her his name was faro and he was mer too they were the same they loved each other they both had beautiful voices.they sang to the full moon as it called to ingo. the mer multiplied and soon there was a whole society of them years later the seas were inhabated by them they lived seacretly protecting the animals that lived in the sea. but no one forgot their ancestors they remembered them because mer share their memories they don't die with them.

Personality: Keeps to himself mostly, Friendly by nature, but can become dangerous easily. Smiles to cover up any pain and feelings he would rather not show in public. Helpful anytime he can be. Protective, Hostile, Bipolar, Paraniod.
Bio: At the age of 2 Allen was Changed forever by the Geno Gene. Hes body some how fought of some of the gene only making him half vampire. Turning his hair white and his eyes silver, His ears were also Slightly pointed and his nails after a while formed into steel like claws. He was with his mother when it accurred Tradicily the Gene had taken a more negative effect on her, She got sick and died a year later. Allen with out a mother and 3 years old, left home and wondered many years. Many people effected by the gene felt sorry for the child and would take him in. Every home he went to he left, Thinking that something bad would happen to the nice people that had taken care of him. By the age of 10, Allen could fend for himself learning he was much faster then most of the Mutated beings on the planet. Using that to his advantege he maneged to servive, by stealing and making friends with stronger more intelligent Beings. On the way he learned how to weild a hand gun and even created one himself which he named Aki, He also practiced with a katana when ever he found a master still with his mind intact. Now 19 he wonders the planet alone not knowing what he's looking for.
Tidbits: He likes his space and tends to remain quiet untill some one talks to him first.

This is him. Just add then guantlets.Weapons: The Gravity Lance that is a outlet for his power. It does turn into twin white lightsabers but when Ryou uses his power with it they become pitch black. One can at that time use the power of light ki and the other dark ki. When used Ryou's reflexs become sharper and lightening fast. This increases his reaction time. This combined with his After image reflex can prove to be deadly for both himself and his opponent.

The gauntlets both serve as his talons and as his mental outlet. When anger or any emotion builds to a degree a black or white light well shine. The black is for a outward explosion that will slowly break a single piece from the gauntlet. The white light signals the activation of his Gravity lance. When activated the Lance can broken apart, like normal, and both lightsabers can be combined to create the Nodachi. It holds all the same power as the Lance only that it doubles them. When used however it leaves him weak and the gravity lance can't be used till it recharges. That takes a day. When both shine black then the explosion turns into a outward beam of dark Ki. When both are white the Nodachi is turned into a twin sided Nodachi. However when one is black and one is white the gravity lance will wrap itself around the gauntlets. This will create two new forms on them. They look like laser beam cannons. But they are really twin gravity guns. They fire pulses of focused gratational energy. They are strong enough to break a armored car in half. They can also be used to increase or decrease gravity of what they hit. However when this is used Ryou can't used the gravity lance at all for up to three day's.

Personality: Kilya is headstrong and smart. She's a loner by nature but will often flirt with just about anyone who the label "male" can be slapped upon.
Bio: Kilya was a rebel. Her parents gave her the Kilya mostly because they wanted their daughter to be like them in avaracious hunting. The tweaked the pronouciation a bit to keep it from sounding to morbid. Kilya didn't conform to their standards and often disappeared for longer and longer periods until one day she just didn't return. Eager to put their rebellious daughter behind them her parents left and took on new names. Kilya however had discovered her inherent flirtiness. She had even at one point tried to flirt with a werewolf (the werewolf just wasn't too receptive).
