follow along or watch it all after its done/seasons?

The question is what do you like to do when watching your anime? Do you prefer to follow along with it if it's still running, or even if it's still running do you wait till the anime or season is over and watch it all at once back to back?

I personally like to watch them all together when I can. I find it helps me to follow the plot and characters better. Although most of the anime's that I watch now are either all finished or are OAV's.

It depends. If I don't think I'll watch the series ever again, I follow it. Otherwise, I torrent it and save it.

If I'm watching it as it is airing I watch it as it is released. If it's an older series or a series which just finished airing, I'll watch it in a few episodes at a time until I'm finished.

I do pretty much the same thing, with Bleach I'm following along with it, but I only came into it about season 7 so I had a lot of catching up to do before I could figure out what the heck was happening! I don't have much more time to dedicate to following any other anime. The big thing is too I don't understand japanese (yet!!) so if I"m going to follow along with a series I've got to rely on fansubs, and not every currently airing anime has fansubs. So for that reason i'll either wait till the series or season is done then check it out.

It usually plays at an inopportune time when it is airing and/or it is censored/cut. So, I always prefer to get a good version of it after it is out on DVD/Bluray.
