I pulled these off from SPPF from my banner shop there. n_n Anyways, here's some of the stuff I did. Just to inform you, these are my recent work so... yeah. :<

I'll probably place in a tutorial later on. It's quite easy and I don't use so much brushes on those banners and avatars. ^^; Thank you though.

Wow, very nice job! I especially like how the color and sharpness manipulation on the first three icon banners. I agree - they remind me of awesome stamps. I also like the scrapbook feel to the first two banners. Awesome job - I agree that you should post a tut on colors and photo manip! ^^

I only used textures and I only adjust in the colours. xD I barely use some brushes. As I said, I'll place in some tutorials and I will also be willing to answer in some questions.

your avatars are stronger than your sigs (another reason why im assuming your from live jounal, or DA xD)
the reason i say your sigs arent as strong is because i adore sharp and bright/shiny stuff x3 but let me tell ya, your work is gorgeous! the jakotsu sig is really creative :3 luv it.

Hmm. I really don't like it much. Too big size for my liking and I'm not really drawn to it. Plus, it look rather plain.

Your Saber sig on the other hand is made of pure win. ;3 I love the effects around the sword and the circle brushes you used for blood. <3 Seems like you used fractal patterns for the overall effect but it all looks nice.

Ah thank you. In my Saber banner, I only used one brush and that was the blood stains. The rest I only messed with the Selective Colours, the Saturation/Hues and used textures. If I will brush, I don't overdo it.

lol I was banned. 3; I guess my other thing died... I don't care, it's awesome to start out new. Anyways, I've been making a huge load of banners, avatars, etc. Usually banners. Now I've been making a lot of banners with real people in it.


This one I made it in the other forum site I've been in. Fun to make but I think I need to do a lot more on it.


Current one, made this one a few days ago. I like how I placed in the flower there. :3


BLACK AND WHITE. For the win, I didn't do a lot on it. It's so fun like using various of textures for that banner. Hah!

lol Long story. Be honest I was laughing a lot during my ban and each and everyday I get amused how the program here is done and whatnot. It makes even the most retarded forum look cooler. Eh, I'm not afraid to say what I feel. +shrug+

The sizes are way too small in my opinion. Your either cropping too much, or just not starting off with a large enough size, so basically, its kind of hard to see your effects (even with my glasses on). On your larger banners, they need more flow, and the effects on the focal just have to go. And I do not give out numbers, because numbers assign you a limitation.

Actually, a lot of small pieces look better than empty or overdone big banners with way too many effects.

Well, I have critism for ya, Narz. In your aishiteru banner, the person is far too sharpened for my tastes. The H A Y A T E banner's colouring is extremely good but it's a little too simple/brushing is faded for my tastes. I've already critted your Naruto club banner at SPPf, shya.

Cropping too much? How can you "crop too much"? I personally don't like doing big banners and plus, the banner size that are huge have way too many pixels; thus making the site go extremly slow. On the other hand, I'm doing sites a favour especially this one. A lot of people have huge banners and it lags so much. I know it's not the server.

I'm starting to be out of topic. I personally like small banners, tbh. The huge one is just taking too much space.

D: !! I love this kind of style and I've been trying to copy it but I can't get the scratchy scratchy textures to blend in well. Well I'm not good with textures at all really... you use them, right? Or brushes? e.e;; Oh and lighting looks really good. The first one you posted is SEXY.
