i log in and look at my threads and the first thing i c is
23 views... and im thinking "YES IM SO KOOL, Everyone loves my thread" and than i go in it...i look at it...than go back to home and look at it again....

not really i usually reply to threads that are one the main page.. the threads people have recently replies too.... but yeah... your right too...

Yeah, I know what you mean. It happens to me alot. Well, not on this site, but others that I've posted on. It *is* frustrating. I am sorry... But I agree with Miss Chii. In order to get the desired amount of posts and to outnumber the views with posts, it has to be an interesting topic.

I read a lot of the post in the forums, but I really don't post on them because I have nothing to say. then there are the rules that if I make an I agree comment then I get bad repped and it gets deleted so its really isn't worth posting if I don't have anything worth saying you know?
also there are people when they have nothing to say to counter you good argument they will attack your grammar, spelling and punctuation. so in all if I don't have something worth saying I just don't say it.
that is unless I am in AI stalk mode where I just find something posted and try to get her to respond. usually in vain.

And you have to use common sense. I don't get everything in a thread from just the title. I have to actually view it and read the other posts, and half the time I can't contribute or add anything, so no post. It's called lurking.

Dude, that was going a bit to far.
if you want people to respond to your threads, or post create some interesting, or controversial threads, and open posts. try to attract people to comments you make.
also I have noticed that small comments get more direct responses because people will read them.

um.. what if the ppl who doesn't have an account views it?? does it count as a view? if it does, then they can't reply cuz they cant..
or maybe the viewed it on accident or something..? sometimes you can't find the right thing to say, so you won't bother replying right?? that's what I think anyway..

The answer is simple, not everyone has an opinion on something.

A title to a thread barely tells you what is inside the thread. Often I will see a title saying something that might hint a nice debate, I open it to find it's a simple "what do you prefer thread, this or that?"

And if we all HAD to post, do you have any idea how much spam we would accumulate? Even more than the overpopulated amount we have now.
