Yeah, I used to be real obsessed back in the day. Ruby just kind of signaled a loss of the magic that the last two generations had for me. It felt like a downgrade from Gold, Silver, and Crystal for sure.

Because of that I haven't bothered messing with the DS games. I figure if I want to play a Pokemon game Crystal will do it. (my Gold and Silver cartridges can not keep saved files anymore. >_>)

Of all those Pokémon games, Ruby was my first. It was also, for a long time, my main one, until I got Emerald and its Breeding haven and Battle Frontier.

The other games basically only serve for helping filling my Ruby and Emerald Pokédex, and for storage purposes (as my Ruby and Emerald boxes are nearly full).
