Game of the Year, which would you had voted for?

Out of these games of the year, which one would you had voted for?

I guess Halo 3, since my brother wont let me play The Orange Box and I havent played the other games yet. Dont know why they didn't have Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. That was a kool game there.

Why COD4 isn't up there beats me, since it was the best game of 2007 and it was a flawless game form head to toe.

But from that list it would be a fight between Bioshock and Portal. Both were strong titles, Bioshock having an incredible storyline with the best twist in video game history and then Portal with the most inventive and creative gameplay.

It would be a tough choice, but I think Bioshock beats Portal. If Portal was longer, Portal would have my vote.

Halo 3 is not as good as 2 i think, and the other 2 are good but not like the orange box.

But is ff7 was re released this year with the same graphics and everything then i would choose it above all else. Yes i have played all the above games and i still like ff7 the best! i wish it was re released so it could be an option..... T_T

Halo 3 just because 1) I've never played the other's or even heard of them, 2) My husband and I play Halo 3 all the time...

Although I love the Half Life series, Bioshock is my game of the year. The story was very good, and i liked the setting and the characters very much. (It also have been the first game running on my new gaming-laptop. I loved the graphics^^)
Portal is also a great game (GLaDOS ftw!), but a little bit too short to be my game of the year.

I took Halot 3 from there although i would rather take CoD 4 or The Witcher for in my opinion they are far better.

The best game of the year doesn't really have to be released that year, although that's generally how it's done. If I think that no game released in 2007 tops the best game of the 2006 I would try to vote for that game then, which may or may not be LoZ: TP.

Bioshock and the Orange Box. Tied.
Bioshock was just a refreshing gaming experience and loads of fun. Orange Box was epic....And come on now, gravity gun + giant circular saw blades. Half Life 2, Both Expansions, Portal, and TF2 kept me busy for a good month.

Followd by CoD4 and Mass Effect

Sorry everyone, but I'll take a bold approach and vote for Mass Effect.
The game to me, is by far the best Action/Adventure free roam RPG I've ever seen. It also has expansion packs coming out to enhance the games experience. I personally beat it already but I recently purchased the first of many expansion packs and it was awesome.

I would think this deserves a game of the year also because of the awesome voice acting.

It's a close one between Orange Box, Mass Effect, and Halo 3. I chose Halo 3 just because I play it more than any of the others.

I see...well thats probably why CoD4 wasn't nominated. I will say that the 2007 list is probably the first time Spike had a decent somewhat deserving list of nominee's for GOTY.

They are not re releasing FF7 it was just something they showed to show the power of the ps3. If they did remake it I hope it would be rated M for mature because i want so many parts in their to be seen with blood, and no cuts! Oh, look Areith dies again! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! T_T

That was the best part in the game.


I have surprisingly never played these games, I do hear however that team Fortress is suppose to be really good.
