Pokemon or Digimon?

Although there were more games for Pokemon which is making sway towards that xD

i vote both...yeah like pokemon but after they left misty in veridian city i just lost interest as for digimon not that complicated just a deeper plot and yeah there were just a bit too many seasons but hey i liked it ^^

I like Digimon because after they evolved, they can transform back to their previous form, unlike Pokemon, where the transformation is permanent. But I still liked Pokemon better for some strange reason. Ash was my hero when I was 7-8. And as I grew up a little more, Brock was my new hero, because he's doing his best to score a chick, something I'd never have the guts to do.

Did you watch all the episodes of Pokémon series to say "all episodes are the same"? Actually there isn't a single episode what reminds you something older.
By story is Pokémon better, by charcater is Digimon, by action .. you can't say which is better, because in Digimon they were something between AI and a lifeform and they died when they lost, but in Pokémon they just fainted.

Digimon was a cheap rip off from Pokémon, but the first season was actually quite okay .. but after that lawl.

ok starts off ash and his pals theyre traveling trying to get to a town bUT oh no! theres a trainer who needs help,or OH no someones challenged ash, or oh no! theres a pokemon ash needs to catch, anyways theres like 2-3 of that bull just of ash and friends trying to get to a town and EVery episode will! have teamrocket! even if its for like 2 minutes!
then! They got to town! and omg! theres a contest! or a town fair thingy! or they need to go to the pokemon center! then team rocket comes and trys to mess something up! then! once ash finally gets to the GYM battles! half way! Team rocket shows up again!!!! but yeh idk.. those are consistancys i noticed...i'll admit though The Pokemon Movies were good...
but Pokemon Just doesnt top digimon... or the digimon movies

In how many episodes the main character start to travel? I think it's only the first one in every season.
He didn't need to catch anyone, he was willing to help Oak to complete the Pokédex. Not every episodes had Team Rocket, nor a Gym challange, nor a Trainer, nor a new Pokémon.
If you didn't understand, then it was his journey to be a Pokémon Master, and to do that he needed Gym badges, that's why he had to challange Gym Masters.

But if you are talking the "every episode is the same" thing, then have you noticed anything missing in the Digimon story? Was there EVER any story?
In the first season they had to defeat "a big and bad" Digimon to save the others.
In the second season they had to defeat the "evil" Emperor to save the others.
In the third season they had to defeat more "big and bad" Digimon and to destroy the "D-reaper" to save the others.
In the fourth season they had to defeat more "big and bad" Digimons to save the others.

And did you notice that nearly all the characters looked like 9~13 year old?

LOL. Someone said Digimon is too complicated. It really isn't, i watched it when I was little, and my little cousins watched it too. And everybody got everything that they threw at us, any problems emotional or physical (as in thteir fights)
If a little kid at the age of 5 can get it, if you try your hardest than you can get it too dude.

After saying all of this, you should already know that I love Digimon. I have loved it since i started watching the 1st season. It was interesting, funny, and the Digimon actually talked. And for that reason even my mother liked it better than Pokemon, lol!!!

You can't compare. Pokemon was freaking epic and they had an amazing show, card game and one of the best video game series in history. Digimon had a lame show that no one wanted to watch because it made no sense and the card game was just freaking stupid.

Pokemon that was the first ever anime I've watch or I could remember watching.

Eh ... I guess I'll go with Pokemon, just because I liked it a lot when I was a kid. That's mostly just the first season and first movie, though, and probably more because of nostalgia than an actual inherent quality. The games remain pretty entertaining, though.

Digimon was alright too, but I mostly watched it erratically and probably wouldn't enjoy it if I watched today. Haven't watched it in years anyway.

I pick Pokemon, though I like both of them, I just like Pokemon a lot more. I use Pokemon in my everyday life which it be forums, or the games, but I only find myself interacting with something involving Digimon maybe only once every 3 months or so. Pokemon FTW hands down for myself.

DIGIMON!!! I think its better. I don't know if anyone's noitcied but in pokemon it's been 11 years now and ash is still the same age he was in the begining, and so has pickachu. O____. and they got rid of misty too. I always loved digimon. some of the digimon were kinda of hot too.....x__x hehehe...........

I must say Digimon.Why?Well i am not sure i can answer the question.I guess maybe because i watched it first and kinda like it a lot.When i was a kid i always dreamed of my own Digimon.I guess dreams never fade away.

Both! Though, the funny thing is that both the old Digimon (Season 1&2) along with the Classic Pokemon were the best. ^__^;; that's my opinion though...so... xD
